  1. Oh wow! Streaming audio! Haven't seen that before! Man I hate the iPod. Expensive, restrictive, and crammed down everyone's throats through bullshit advertising. Curse you Steve Jobs. I'll never buy one of your piles of crap.
  2. If he truly held his own opinions, he'd meet with Blair. It's obvious "he" would like to, but he seems to be trying to keep a shallow "image" with which to sell records and keep his fanbase. Quite frankly, that's just stupid.
  3. You bring up a valid point, although there are a few possible explainations. One would be the fact that the WTCs were very popular landmarks. How many tourists visit NYC each day? I bet a lot. The other is that word may have gotten out to some about hijacked planes heading for the area. I do agree though that even with these points, some of the shots were pretty........er...........I'll call them "lucky" for now (especially that one from street level looking directly up). I too smell something odd.
  4. I live in a run down neighborhood with only one neighbor. Also, nobody is aware of what type of Internet connection I have, nor do they know I have a wireless router (only one of my systems uses the wireless capability, and I have a filter that only allows that system's specific MAC address and doesn't allow wireless connections to any others). Someone would pretty much have to take a chance and park out in front of my house with an antenna, and would also have to somehow get and have the exact MAC address needed to get past the filter.
  5. Thanks for you interest in BeatKing. You'll find that your request will be well received by other members however; I respectfully request that you refrain from typing threads and thread replies in all capitals. It is considered by many to be rude and distracting; a form of virtual "shouting".
  6. I like 2/3 of this law, but the other 1/3 needs tweaking. It needs more definition. By the way, that website couldn't be anymore propaganda and rhetoric filled even if it tried. It's truly pathetic.
  7. Florida left the law way way way (a thousand ways) too vague. Feel threatened? What if I feel threatened by that lady in the produce section of the supermarket who's thumbing through some bananas? I guess I should just put some bullet holes in her just to make sure. I'm not a liberal, and even I think you're entire argument is retarded. There are more than two types of people in the world. Stop with the buzz word Fox News labels. Get your own opinion, and don’t take everything that the NRA and the Republican party says as gospel. I've fired weapons before; my father owns a couple guns. I don't have any problem with someone owning a pistol permit, and carrying the gun on them. That's fine with me. I do have a problem with people who have itchy fingers, and with laws that loosely define how and when you can discharge your weapon.
  8. I've never met him either, but I have seen his broadcasts. Have you?
  9. He was always someone I associated with REAL news. He did his job and did it well. I've heard him all my life, but I guess that's over now.
  10. I think if they're going to be treated like second class human beings, then that means their prison terms are probably not long enough. If people still believe they are a threat to society, and don't want them in storm shelters, then why are they free? What's the point of all this? On one side, they may have served their prison sentence, but on the other side, are they really considered free and equal people by the populace even though they "did their time" (hypothetical)? I think the real problem hasn't been solved, and this is frustrating to see because it's a sort of "unofficial" dealing. I feel that if you're going to release a sex offender from prison, but you still don't believe he's rehabilitated and able to be accepted as a full functioning member of society, then what the fuck was accomplished in prison? Why let him/her out? If it's not possible, life them. Don't let them out.
  11. Maybe she's a nuclear physicist, I don't know. I do know that the article went out of its way to hype the fact that she had two college degrees. She must be getting a truck load of money if she doesn’t have another job related to one of her degrees. It's either this or she likes parading around in a bunny suit for some geriatric.
  12. As anyone who has read my past posts, you'll find that I support self defense and legally owning weapons. However, I find this possible law to be very dangerous and dubious.
  13. So their slave labor forces shall be combined and they will be the ultimate power in the universe. No one willl dare oppose them.
  14. If he wasn't on her property, then no, you can't. Using violence to protect your home is reserved only for when absolutely needed, such as a blatant home invasion.
  15. Visiting the site crashed FireFox. Error messages pointed to a problem with Java on my system. Oh well....
  16. Not really, the "ball game" was quite different than basketball. It involved hitting the ball with your hip. The losers were sacrificed.
  17. Wow, talk about a big asshole meeting. The only difference is one wants to extort money from people, and the other wants to kill them. You're right wolfie, the irony is astounding. I really don't know what to say...
  18. Yeah, one for basket weaving, and the other for liberal arts or something.
  19. This version has been updated, but as far as I can tell, the version number is still exactly the same (and buried in the debug.log file when the program is installed). Also, be aware that BitPump takes over the Torrent file association without prompting or warning the user.
  20. They may have found some sort of statistical correlation with their sample, but the true nature of their sample is yet to be revealed to use, the readers. Thousands huh? Where were they from? Was the groups diverse in nature (with regards to race, etc..)? How was "data" collected? Survey? How was the survey administered? Could the survey have cut out certain groups of people based upon unrelated factors? I can't even call it a theory until I know for sure it was a good representative sample, and that the data was gathered in such a way that it did not alter how they received their sample of people.
  21. Great! More bullshit overpriced music with restrictive usage and limited format availability! I can't wait to NOT use it! I’m so happy! Somebody shoot me!
  22. He lived until he was 8 years old. For a disease with an expectancy of about 2 years, that's amazing, even with top notch medical care. By the way, since I live in Buffalo, I've heard some rumors about the owner of the Buffalo Bills (Ralph Wilson) renaming "Ralph Wilson Stadium" (formerly Rich Stadium; where the Buffalo Bills play) to "Hunter Field" or perhaps "Hunter Stadium". I personally like “Hunter Stadium” because I’m sick of Wilson’s name as the title. I like the idea of one word/name (not the owner’s) followed by “Stadium”. “Field”, I think, suits natural grass places better (like “Soldier Field” for the Chicago Bears).
  23. He was obviously a cold-blooded killer. What he was thinking about we'll never know. I personally don't care.
  24. Another dumb remake. They should just cut the crap and have Simpson pose in various outfits (or none at all) for the duration of the movie. It's simple, less expensive, and the target audience gets more for their money. Seriously, nobody is seeing this for the plot or the other actors (unless you like that retard Johnny Knoxville, in which case I'm suprised you've managed to live this long with so few brain cells). They should just rename it to: "The Dukes of Ahh Who Are We Kidding This Movie Is All About Eye Candy"
