  1. You'd think from the way the article is worded, that LOTD's pic is a more accurate portrayal.
  2. From now on, if I see something I don't like, the first thing I'm going to say is.... "Who the hell is this". Couldn't have been a little less obvious method?
  3. I suppose it's like a backup hard drive. If everyone on the bus gets a virus and dies, then the backup bus still has all the people you need. Now, this leaves me with a few questions. Did they somehow clone M&Ms, thus producing a "backup"? I'd assume if they lost candy man for good, they'd be screwed.
  4. To be fair, "they" probably don't wan't the violence either, but are powerless over giving it an AO rating for violence. So really, if Rockstar is responsible for the code, then they are shooting themselves in the foot.
  5. Before I go any further, I offer no opinions. However, here is my theory on what will happen to Rockstar, etc, etc.. If the mod simply activated the "scenes" and they already existed (meaning the devs left the code in) then Rockstar, etc, is in deep shit. However, if the mod created the "scenes", then this uproar will fade.

    For Ken

    That made me smile.
  7. As much as "Everybody Loves Raymond" bores me, it is infinitely better than the trendy, "Hollywoodish" dog shit that is "Desperate Housewives". That show makes me want to commit murder.........preferably of the director, the actors, the sponsors, and whatever network aires it, which I believe is ABC.
  8. Well, that let the wind out of my sails. I thought they were going to have to scrape him off the highway, and I was hoping for pictures too.
  9. The people associated with Limewire at gnutellaforums.com seem to be getting prickly and uninterested in posting a change log for every release, so don't expect them often. Now, here links to the BETA page and to a thread from some guy claming how much he loves Limewire v4.9.4 It's strange really; nobody officially from Limewire has posted a thread about this version yet, but it is still available. 12. Oh, and iTunes is no replacement for a web browser, and if it ever is, I still won't use it.
  13. Is this guy stupid? How is podcasting and other such bullshit going to render web browsers obsolete? This is such a mountain of stupid, I'm actually having trouble defining exactly what he said, because none of it makes any sense. What the hell is this guy talking about? Who cares about #1 destinations? The Internet as a whole is what I like. Is Apple going to give me file sharing news? Is Apple going to provide me newsgroups access? Is Apple going to provide me all my web mail needs? Is Apple going to be an online auction site? Is Apple going to be the Internet? Color me confused. Portal market? What the fuck? Unless Apple starts letting me pirate everything in existence (music, movies, games, applications) like I do now, and unless Apple starts giving me everything else.............actually I'd still want more than one source for everything I do. I suppose Apple is going to have their own airline tickets business too, and maybe their own library, dictionary, and.............I could go on for ever. Perhaps I'm just missing the point of what this guy is trying to say (since he mentions things like RSS feeds and iPods, which don't affect me often or at all). Oh, and one more thing, how does Apple render my web browser obsolete? With the iPod? How the fuck does a tiny device render a web browser on my PC obsolete?
  14. Typical of Iraqi terrorists. Stuff like this happens on a daily basis.

  20. That's probably the reason, though wasn't it true in the past that old versions of Soulseek would no longer work with the network? I suppose that wouldn't apply to test versions, but it's just something I remember hearing about. Just out of curiosity, what is the latest final version number of Soulseek?
  21. Well, I suppose this is rather rare, so most of the time it is acid Dude.
  22. I'm delighted to know that you now fully understand. You've finally accepted the fact that I am the arbiter of......everything. So yes, BOW DOWN!
