  1. Within these last few weeks, Kehlani has been laying low. It seems as if the world received much more from the singer when she was involved with YG as the couple made headlines. They were loved up on red carpets and at events, and for Valentine's Day, Kehlani shared a series of photos showing how YG went all out with teddy bears, rose petals, and plenty of gifts to spare. Days later, Kehlani announced that her romance with the rapper was a wrap in a break-up song titled "Valentine's Day (Shameful)." The singer shared that she'd went through her man's phone and discovered some things that broke her heart, so she was once again a single woman. After removing one another from their social media accounts, neither party has spoken about the split. Yet, Kehlani is returning with another single that may shed light on how she's been processing these recent turn of events. "Toxic" will reportedly drop tomorrow (March 12) at 10:00 a.m. PST and Kehlani shared the cover art on Wednesday (March 10) evening. She didn't reveal too much information about the new single but fans have been speculating based on the look of the cover art alone. Check it out below. View the full article
  2. Nike recently introduced their most innovative Air Max 90 to date - the Air Max 90 Flyease - marking Nike Sportswear’s first use of FlyEase technology. The special edition kicks, designed to help athletes of all abilities get into their shoes quicker and easier, will soon be hitting retailers in a variety of colorways, including a pristine all-white iteration that is a perfect fit for the warmer months on the horizon. Nike The Nike Air Max 90 Flyease maintains the overall look of the 30-year old silhouette, but the noticeable heel extension makes it possible for wearers to quickly slip in and out without having to touch the laces. "Leveraging a new entry system, the Air Max 90 FlyEase offers quick, easy-on and off access through a flexible heel that collapses when wearers step into the shoe. The heel then snaps back into place upon entry to secure the fit. The idea behind the design is that wearers of the Air Max 90 FlyEase can tie and set their laces and then slip the shoe on and off for easy access on the go." 3. The increasing panic over the coronavirus has been on a drastic incline for weeks. People have taken precautions against contracting or spreading the disease, but after Wednesday's (March 11) announcements, more are beginning to take the pandemic seriously. Tom Hanks revealed on Instagram that he and his wife Rita Wilson tested positive for coronavirus in Australia while they were down there working on a film. The NBA issued a statement that all games would be suspended after a Utah Jazz player tested positive, as well. Mike Windle / Staff / Getty Images President Donald Trump even gave a short speech from the White House saying travel from Europe, aside from the United Kingdom, will be halted for 30 days beginning on Friday (March 13). The world is paying attention, but Charlamagne Tha God took to social media to criticize people who waited for the rich and famous to be affected before realizing the seriousness of the pandemic. Charlamagne wrote on Twitter, "115,000 Coronavirus cases worldwide. 4,200 people killed and some Americans didn't think sh*t was real until Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, and the NBA were hit with it. Start using your own brain and stop waiting until celebrities are impacted to take things serious." He took a screenshot of his message and posted it on Instagram with the added caption, "Let’s also not forget about the celebrity running the country right now. Moral of the story is America’s obsession with celebrity is going to be this country’s downfall...." The Breakfast Club host also took a moment to throw jabs at Trump. "I'm watching the celebrity in chief Donald Trump trying hard not to sneeze or cough during this 'Presidential Address To The Nation,'" he wrote. "I saw shortness of breath, sniffling, trying not to sneeze, cough, or fart. I think 45 needs to be quarantined." Check out Charlamagne Tha God give his take on celebrity culture and the coronavirus below. View the full article
  4. Rob Kardashian caught a slight break recently when he was awarded $45,000 in legal fees for a court case he fought with the help of Blac Chyna. Kardashian and Chyna were caught in a public feud with a former friend of Chyna's, who claimed that Kardashian and Chyna outed him as gay. He also claimed that they had been threatening him. As reported by The Blast, Chyna's former friend, Justin "Pilot" Jones, served up the lawsuit in 2017, after a picture of him and Chyna kissing had leaked. Jones claimed that Kardashian and Chyna wrongfully accused him of leaking and selling the photo. He also claimed that they publicly exposed him as a bisexual, before sharing his number with their followers. Jones denied leaking the photo, but could not convince the Kardashian-Chyna fans otherwise, receiving several threatening messages online as a result. Jones claimed his life was "ruined" by the couple and demanded $2 million in damages. Greg Doherty/Getty Images Kardashian and Chyna denied the claims made by Jones and asked the Judge to dismiss the case. The Judge found the evidence was non-conclusive and agreed to drop all but one case. Kardashian requested he be replayed $60,000 in lawyer fees, but the Judge only ordered Jones to pay Kardashian $45,109.01. Despite taking a small victory here, Kardashian and Chyna are still in court over custody of their daughter, Dream. View the full article
  5. News updates about the coronavirus are unavoidable. As the world takes precautions to contain the pandemic as much as possible, President Donald Trump has been criticized for not making moves to protect American citizens. On Wednesday (March 11), Trump answered his naysayers by addressing the world from the White House's Oval Office in a video public service announcement. Tasos Katopodis / Stringer / Getty Images According to PEOPLE, there are just over 1,000 reported cases of coronavirus in the United States. It's reported that 54,000 people have recovered from the illness while 4,000 have died. In his statement, Trump said that the World Health Organization has officially declared coronavirus to be a pandemic. "After consulting with our top government health professionals, I have decided to take several strong but necessary actions to protect the health and well-being of all Americans," Trump said. “To keep new cases from entering our shores, we will be suspending all travel from Europe to the United States for the next 30 days. The new rules will go into effect Friday (March 13) at midnight." “These restrictions will be adjusted subject to conditions on the ground," the President added. "There will be exemptions for Americans who have undergone appropriate screenings." Restrictions will also be placed on any cargo or items making their way from Europe, not including the United Kingdom. He clarified that for the "vast majority of Americans the risk is very low" and "young and healthy people can expect to recover quickly if they should get the virus." People with the highest risk is for the elderly with health issues. Watch Donald Trump give his announcement below. View the full article

  13. Since 2006, one of the most talked-about Air Jordan colorways is the Air Jordan 6 "DMP" which was released as part of the "Defining Moments" pack. This sneaker was released alongside an Air Jordan 11 that also featured black and gold accents. The Jordan 6 turned out to be the overwhelming favorite from the pack and fans have been clamoring for it, ever since. In 2020, Jordan Brand is finally giving fans what they've been asking for. Yes, that's right, the Jordan 6 "DMP" is getting its very own retro and will be coming out within the next month. For months, the release date on these has been a little iffy. At first, it was being reported that they would drop at the end of March. The release date was then updated to April 4th although now, the official date is April 11th, as per Eastbay's release calendar. Image via Shoe Palace If you've been a sneakerhead for a while and remember the hype surrounding the original release of these, you'll definitely want to check them out and perhaps even cop. They are a part of Jumpman's history and would look good in any person's collection. Let us know in the comments below what you think of these and whether or not you plan on copping. 14. Last week was rough for Megan Thee Stallion, but she came out on top. After seeking a temporary restraining order against her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, Meg was granted permission to bypass her recording contract and release new music on Friday. Fans may have just expected a single off her debut album, but instead, she delivered a nine-track EP, Suga, named after her new alter-ego. TMZ got a chance to ask the Houston rapper about the project's initial reception in NYC over the weekend. An on-the-go Meg said, "All my hotties love Suga," referring to her fanbase by their pet name. "They can't wait til the big album drop and it's really holding them over." While Suga was initially teased to be the title of her debut album, she instead decided to drop the EP as a care package while she puts the finishing touches on her next project. In light of all the label issues that Meg has been tackling, TMZ also asked her to offer some advice to up-and-coming artists who might need to navigate the overwhelming music industry. "Make sure your team solid. Make sure you solid and don't ever let anyone try to stop your creativity," she asserted. Hot Girl Meg then commented on one more trending topic: the possible cancellation/postponing of Coachella. The festival essentially serves as a year-in-review for music. Considering Meg has been taking the industry by storm, her scheduled performance at Coachella could be a huge moment for her to prove her showmanship and solidify her place in the hip hop landscape. That being said, it makes sense that she is worried about Coronavirus-related health concerns interfering with her debut at the two-weekend fest. "All I know is, Coachella, you better not cancel Hot Girl Chella." she warned. However, with or without Meg's permission, it looks like Hot Girl Chella might be postponed until October. In other Megan Thee Stallion news, she started a sexy dance challenge for the next single off Suga, "Captain Hook". View the full article
  15. It was first reported that Future and Lori Harvey had struck up a romance last year and, before they confirmed the fact with a steamy photograph in the pool, fans ran with their imaginations and thought of what would happen if the two actually decided to get married. Well, if a couple of sketchy rumours are to be believed -- and they're very likely not -- then we don't even need to imagine any longer. Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images A few gossip websites have begun reporting that Atlanta rapper Future and model Lori Harvey, who is Steve Harvey's daughter, secretly got married in Jamaica. That much is currently unconfirmed but, given the sources reporting this news, the information is presumably untrue. The rumours can be traced back to Eliza Reign, Future's alleged baby mama, who claimed that he told her that he was putting a ring on it soon. The possibility of them one day getting hitched is definitely there but we wouldn't pin Future down as the kind of guy to get settled down after a couple of months... or years... or decades even. Even though the rumours are not confirmed, social media users still went crazy at the prospect of Lori and Pluto calling each other husband and wife. We've gathered some of the wildest reactions below. Do you think they could actually last? [via] View the full article
  16. Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to be one of the best players in the entire NBA and as the season goes on, it appears as though he will probably end up taking his second straight MVP title. What makes Giannis particularly interesting right now is the fact that he is a free agent in 2021. However, he has the ability to sign a max extension this summer, if he so chooses. If Giannis were to sign this kind of deal, the Milwaukee Bucks would immediately become an attractive landing spot for potential free agents. According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, Giannis could actually be the puppet master when it comes to this summer's free agent frenzy. Some teams are preparing for 2021 and the possibility of signing Giannis. This means the summer could be quite dry. If Giannis were to resign with the Bucks early, then many teams could end up trashing their Giannis plans in favor of some drastic player movement. Patrick Smith/Getty Images “If he signs that supermax extension this summer and all of the teams that are sort of saving, you know, keeping their ammo dry for 2021 may begin to make action" Windhorst said during ESPN podcast. "They tell me this summer’s star movement may be hinged on whether or not Giannis extends or not. If he extends, you’ll all of a sudden see more action.” For Bucks fans, the next year and a half are going to be very stressful. If the team doesn't win a title, Giannis will perhaps want to look elsewhere. If that's the case, the team will be missing out on a generational talent who made the franchise relevant again. 18. LeBron James will go down as one of the best basketball players to ever walk onto an NBA court. Having said that, there have been discussions over the last couple of years in regards to how badly he wants to win a fourth championship. Some think the King has gone soft in his old age although his teammates would certainly disagree with this notion. Earlier in the season, LeBron was being dominated by Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers. It was speculated that LeBron didn't want the smoke with Kawhi and that he would rather guard someone else. In a recent report from LZ Granderson of the Los Angeles Times, Lakers assistant coach Phil handy spoke about LeBron and how he was targeting Kawhi prior to Sunday's win. In the end, the strategy worked out as the Lakers won convincingly. Harry How/Getty Images “People forget what he gets like after the All-Star break; he’s a different guy,” Handy said. “He’s preparing himself for that — that’s what you saw today and Milwaukee, you see him saying ‘Let me get myself and help my team in the right frame of mind.’ So for him diving on the floor for loose balls and taking the challenge defensively, that’s what you see. Last night I texted LeBron and asked him who he wanted to guard and he texted back, ‘I’m guarding Kawhi [Leonard].’ ” LeBron and Kawhi could be on track for a playoff matchup and if this were to happen, we can only imagine what kind of narratives would come from it all. If this were the case, who do you think would win? Let us know in the comments. View the full article
  19. Thundercat and Mac Miller were not only musical collaborators, but great friends. Since Mac's passing in September of 2018, Thundercat has made clear many times how important the 26-year-old recording artist was to him. Thundercat (real name Stephen Bruner) has spoken about his now-legendary NPR Tiny Desk performance with Mac, which was recorded shortly before he died. In a recent interview, the revered bassist also opened up about how difficult the grieving process was for him. On Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Mar. 9), Thundercat paid tribute to his departed friend in a spirited way. While performing the first single off his forthcoming album, "Black Qualls", he transitioned to playing an instrumental interlude of Mac's "What's The Use?". Thundercat played bass on "What's The Use?", which appears on Mac's 2018 album, Swimming. Towards the tail-end of his Kimmel performance, Thundercat and Steve Lacy (of the Internet) started jamming the easily-identifiable bassline of Mac's track. At the 3:17-mark, the two can be seen getting in to the funk in their matching gem-covered sweaters. Thundercat was also accompanied on stage by Steve Arrington (vocals) and Flying Lotus (keys). "Dragonball Durag" serves as the second single off Thundercat's next project, It Is What It Is, which will be released on April 3 via Brainfeeder. View the full article

  21. Appearing as a highlight on the latest Quality Control compilation project, Lil Yachty is vying to shake things up on his own, which he commenced yesterday by releasing a hilarious video for his new single "Oprah's Bank Account" with DaBaby and Drake. The video sees him dressing up in drag and playing the role of Boprah, hosting a fictional talk show and giving each audience member a boat as a parting gift. It was only a matter of time before this announcement came but, alas, here we are with news that Lil Boat 3 is officially confirmed. On the anniversary of his first Lil Boat project, Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty released his latest single and, on the same day, he told the world that we could expect some more new music from him imminently. "Lil Boat 3, coming soon," wrote the creative red-haired recording artist. "Thank you for your patience. Please enjoy the new single 'Oprah's Bank Account.'" At the bottom of the graphic, both album artworks are displayed for Lil Boat and Lil Boat 2, with a question mark placed over a third placeholder. We wouldn't be surprised if he sticks with a nautical theme for this one, continuing a string of excellent cover artworks for Lil Yachty and ending the trilogy with a bang. One question remains though: will LB3 arrive before or after his collaborative project with Tee Grizzley? Are you excited about this new album after hearing "Oprah's Bank Account?" 22. Kanye West and Adidas have shown no signs of slowing production on the wildly popular Yeezy Boost 350 V2s, and rumors suggest there are at least half a dozen colorways on tap for this spring. Among them, a smooth "Linen" joint that is sure to be a fan favorite. Adidas has not revealed any official images or release details but you can get an idea of what to expect via the leaked images embedded below. Judging from the early looks that have surfaced thus far, it looks like the "Linen" Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 will come equipped with a light tan/cream primeknit upper, not unlike some of the other Yeezys that have already released. What separates this pair from the other neutral toned Yeezys is that light blue sock liner, as swell as the shimmering (presumably reflective) streak that runs across the lateral portion of the silhouette. As we know, these leaked images aren't always an accurate representation of the colorway that finally makes it's way to retailers, so we'll keep you posted as soon as the official photos are revealed. Check out another batch of early looks below, and click here to preview the unreleased Yeezy 451. View the full article

  24. A simple celebratory message on social media by Wolftyla turned into an online spat with Megan Thee Stallion. Last year, Megan released her Fever mixtape and later Wolftyla shared an image of the tracklist with the caption, "Got my first placement and it’s on an album by a woman who i think is fire." She hashtagged the song "Simon Says," a track that featured Juicy J, but Megan came back with ire. "I write all my own sh*t don’t let nobody gas you up like that,” Megan Thee Stallion shared on her Instagram Story. “That clout sh*t crazy." According to The Source she also stated, "Like I said don’t nobody write my sh*t for me… so don’t try to insinuate you did… just be clear from the beginning. I didn’t even know she had nothing to do with the song Juicy J say you ain’t write nothing. Simon says shut tf up.” A back-and-forth ensued, but in a recent interview with No Jumper, Wolftyla explained in detail how she came to be involved with the Fever song. "I was in a studio session and I was playing my music and somehow happened to leave the door open to the studio session and Juicy [J]'s manager came in," she said. The manager told Wolftyla that he was a fan and invited her to another session the following day. "I went in there, they played me a bunch of beats, I picked out the beats that I loved, I did some writing on it, melodies on it, and then boom." "I was just going in there really humble," Wolftyla added about working with the Three 6 Mafia artist. "Juicy J's a legend and I'm not gonna sit here and bash him because, hey, the industry is the industry and business is business, but I definitely was going in there bright-eyed and really excited to work with him." She wasn't happy with being portrayed as a liar. Wolftyla added that as a Vine star who is trying to transition into a serious artist, it was a heavy blow. However, she knew the song was going to come out with Megan Thee Stallion because she claims July J's manager contacted her asking for her BMI information. Watch the clip of Wolftyla on No Jumper below. View the full article
  25. There have been plenty of Democratic candidate hopefuls who have made appearances on The Breakfast Club. Prior to this becoming a run-off between Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, The Breakfast Club welcomed interviews from Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, and Kamala Harris. However, the radio show's attempts to get the former Vice President of the United States have been rejected. Tommaso Boddi / Stringer / Getty Images Charlamagne Tha God talked about the 2020 Presidential Election with MSNBC’s Craig Melvin and chatted about what The Breakfast Club audience expects from candidates in the upcoming election. During the discussion, Charlamagne was asked about his previous comments regarding Joe Biden avoiding an interview with him and why he thought that was an issue. "I really have no idea," Charlamagne said. "Joe Biden owes black people his political life, you know what I'm saying? So don't disrespect that base by not showing up, especially when all of your other former opponents did. But I definitely got it on great authority that a lot of the black surrogates around him don't want him to come to The Breakfast Club." Charlamagne added that last year Biden's campaign did attempt to send a black representative to The Breakfast Club in Biden's place, but they weren't having it. "That's what I felt was disrespectful last year. He wanted to send one of his surrogates, I think the brother's name was Cedric, I don't remember Cedric's last name," Charlamagne added. "I was like, no. That's kinda wack if all the other candidates went on themselves and you want to send a surrogate. Who do you think you are?" Watch Charlamagne Tha God talk about the 2020 Presidential Election with MSNBC's Craid Melvin below. View the full article
