  15. Kevin Hart was set to be in court on March 2nd for a countersuit he filed against Stand Up Digital, a company that developed a video game that would feature Hart and his family as characters. The original suit was filed after the company claimed that Hart's cheating scandal embarrassed the brand and affected the rollout of the game. The company sued him for $7.2 million in damages. Stand Up Digital allegedly spent $1.25 million to develop the game with Hart. However, a month before the game's September 2017 release, Hart admitted to an extramarital affair. According to the lawsuit, Kevin Hart blindsided the company and refusing to communicate with them leading up to the game's release. Cindy Ord/Getty Images Kevin Hart denied all wrong-doings, stating that he “suffered through an extremely difficult period in his life, where he was subjected to attempted blackmail to prevent disclosure of an extramarital affair". In addition to this, Hart shared that he was unable to communicate freely with the company due to the fact that he had been working closely with the FBI for the blackmail case. Hart retaliated by countersuing the company, claiming that he did his part is posting and promoting the game when it was released and that he was still owed money from those sales. 16. Future NFL Hall of Famer Rob Gronkowski is still scheduled to make his WWE SmackDown debut this Friday, March 20th - even if there won't be any fans in attendance. As of this writing, the WWE is still planning to air Raw and SmackDown at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, although those plans could change quickly given the national emergency at hand. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer (H/T Wrestling News), the former New England Patriots tight end will take part in multiple matches as part of his newly signed WWE deal. One of those will likely take place at SummerSlam, which is scheduled to take place in Boston on August 23rd. Joe Robbins/Getty Images Gronkowski, 30, is an obvious fit for the WWE given his charismatic persona and, obviously, his athleticism. He first dipped into the WWE waters back in 2017 when he helped his good friend, WWE superstar Mojo Rawley, win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 33 and he immediately came off as a natural. Last August, Gronk explained that he was interested in having a big match with the company, but doubted that he'd ever be a full-time talent. "With wrestling, I don't feel like I would be a full-time wrestler, but there is one thing I'm down for," Gronkowski said (H/T ESPN). "And that's to do one crazy match. Practice it for a little bit, go out there -- like in a Royal Rumble -- go out there, I got my friend in WWE [Rawley], practice it and do a full-on WWE match. I'm not saying when, maybe five years. I got the rest of my life to do that. I've always dreamed about doing that, just one time, going in there and going full-out. That may be a possibility, one time, down the road." It remains to be seen what the WWE has planned for the early stages of Gronk's professional wrestling career, but we expect to learn more this Friday. View the full article
  17. On Monday, President Trump gave another update on the Coronavirus crisis from the White House, in which he revealed that we could be dealing with this scare through the Summer. When asked about when he sees the pandemic turning the corner, Trump said that if all goes well, it could last until July or August. “If we do a really good job, we’ll not only hold the death down to a level that is much lower than the other way, had we not done a good job, but people are talking about July, August, something like that.... Could be longer than that. But I've asked that question many, many times.” Trump also said that his administration may look at lockdowns for “certain areas” or “hot spots” in the nation. But the president said he wasn’t considering a full national lockdown. “At this moment, no, we’re not,” Trump said when asked about nationwide lockdown. The president issued new guidelines for how the country can slow the spread of the virus, suggesting bars and restaurants close in states with evidence of community transition and calling on governors to close schools in areas with evidence of its spread. The guidelines say Americans should "avoid eating or drinking in bars, restaurants, and food courts" and to instead use "drive-thru, pickup or delivery options." The government also says Americans should avoid groups larger than 10 people, and calls on people to work and school children at home whenever possible, and avoid discretionary travel. 18. Lil Baby is one of the biggest stars of this year so far, enjoying tremendous first-week numbers for his new album My Turn. The Atlanta rapper is having himself a moment, fully experiencing his potential and living to become everything that he'd hoped for himself. The next step for Lil Baby is growing his roster of artists, which includes 42 Dugg and Rylo Rodriguez, so he can boss up behind-the-scenes. During his recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, one moment stood out to fans who became worried about Baby's well-being after he seemingly tried to pour water from a closed bottle into an imaginary glass. Frazer Harrison/Getty Images Speaking on how he doesn't show any emotion, Lil Baby began to visibly shake, keeping one hand on his plastic water bottle the entire time. He then spoke about how he was hurt in prison, picking up the bottle and placing it upside down as if he were pouring it into something. Some fans have noted that he could have been tweaking off the Percocet pills, or he was preparing a pint of lean in his head. Either way, this is definitely strange behavior. Watch the video below and let us know what you think Lil Baby was doing. View the full article
  19. Days after calling Eva Marcille a "baby momma terrorist" on social media, troubled R&B singer Kevin McCall is at again with the war of words against his ex-girl. This time, he now claims the RHOA star is with her current husband Michael Sterling for all the wrong reasons. Paul Archuleta/FilmMagic Sharing his opinion once again on a recent IG Story — someone should really take this dude's phone away for a bit! — Kev posted a screengrab of a text convo he had with someone believed to be a random fan. “GM she wrong I can see it in your baby eyes she not happy.. your baby don’t like him," wrote the commenter, to which the "No BS" singer replied by saying, "Why ppl say that he seem coo… he may not even know he’s being used so I give him the benefit of the doubt I don’t hate Mike Sterling at all and I pray he Don’t ever Give me a reason to." This conversation was overlaid with an extensive black bubble message from Kevin that read "Why do people try so hard to prove they … don’t like their ex, instead of ignoring them all together… why does it have to be something with the ex in order for you to have support for slandering or bashing them, doesn’t your new Man realize, you only put energy into things you want, you don’t put energy into things that you don’t want … you actually do the opposite. My ex gotta find a better way to move on this aint it." Eva hasn't responded to his latest jab towards her and Mike, not has she done to any of his social media antics aside from that recent televised interview with Wendy Williams. We're praying McCall can get over this hurt sooner than later, for the sake of their daughter together and his own sanity. Peep Kevin McCall's original social media shots towards Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling over on The Blast. View the full article
  20. Jhené Aiko and Big Sean are currently under quarantine lockdown to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, but even that sounds pleasing to the Detroit rapper. Today is Jhené Aiko's thirty-second birthday. The superstar is fresh off the release of her new album Chilombo, which is one of her highest-charting projects ever. Although the world is currently experiencing some pretty spooky times, Big Sean wants March 16 to be all about his queen, sharing an adorable message on social media alongside a series of heart-warming photos. Rich Fury/Getty Images "Happy 3.16 Queen @jheneaiko," wrote Sean Don on Instagram. "Always proud but never surprised cause I know how great you are at everything you do. Even tho we gotta be inside n quarantine, you even make that sound good. I Love you from da past life to the next. 32 the Magic year, I’m a lucky ass n*gga." A number of coupled up pictures were uploaded as part of the post, including one showing them as Dwyane Wade and LeBron James on the Miami Heat. When Big Sean and Jhené Aiko split up, the hip-hop world was heartbroken. Thankfully, they're now back together and more in love than ever before. Happy birthday, Jhené! 21. BlocBoy JB is lucky to be alive right now after he avoided a near disastrous fall this past weekend. The “Look Alive” rapper took to his Instagram page on Monday to share a clip of him jumping into his pool from his home’s second-floor balcony, but he was mere inches away from disaster. Running from inside the second store bedroom, Blocboy JB can be seen jumping over the railing and into the pool, but not before his foot grazed the side pavement. The Memphis rapper must’ve miss-judged the length of the jump or his ability, because if he jumped any shorter things would’ve been horrible. Frazer Harrison/ Getty Images In fact, you can hear one of his buddies, who's recording the clip, say BlocBoy almost killed himself, which is possibly a slight exaggeration since it was only two-stories high, but it definitely would’ve ended up bad. Check out the lucky, and miss-timed jump (below) and let us know what you think. This isn't first time that the Memphis rapper has done a dangerous stunt however. Just last month, he shared a cringe-worthy backflip attempt in which he tries to pull off the insane stunt but comes up a tad short. Check that out (below) while you’re it. View the full article
  22. The Air Jordan 5 turns 30 years old this year, which means sneakerheads can expect a plethora of AJ5 releases throughout the calendar year. This will include all-time classics like the "Fire Red" Air Jordan 5, as well as some never before seen styles such as the "Alternate Grape" colorway. Additionally, Jordan Brand reportedly plans to introduce a brand new "Easter" colorway on April 3rd. Highlighted by an Easter egg-inspired paint splatter design throughout the white leather upper, the festive 5s come equipped with colorful "Laser Crimson" and "Voltage Purple" accents. White laces, a clear lace lock and a white midsole/outsole combination round out the look. The kicks in question are billed as a grade school exclusive and will therefore be priced at $140 when they hit retailers. This design certainly isn't for everyone but the good news is there will be plenty of other AJ5s on the market in due time. Stay tuned for official photos of the Air Jordan 5 GS "Easter," and click here to preview the upcoming "Top 5" colorway. Image Via Fineline1721 View the full article
  23. The Migos are one of rap’s most recognizable groups with a catalog of widely circulated, feel-good party records that are both distinguishably stylistic and catchy. With their signature “triplet flow” and patented ad-libs underlying each song structure, this Atlanta group has consistently generated hits for almost a decade. Since breaking Billboard glass with tracks like "Versace," the posse has gone on to evolve their sound, proctor future industry influence and produce a host of period defining tunes. Rumored to go their separate ways - the group, perhaps now, embarks on the final musical allegory as a collective. With that in mind, we recount their best productions since their second studio album, Culture. Culture was released with much anticipation and ravenous fan-fare. The composition of the arrangement was anchored by "Bad & Boujee" which in many ways, is the defining creative achievement of their careers. The song peaked at No. 1 on Billboard and planted itself on the charts for more than 36 weeks. Along with the Culture album, it catapulted the group to another level of fame, opening doors for the collective not just in hip-hop but beyond. A Mountain Dew endorsement deal, and a signature menu at Popeyes - in the span of three short years serves as proof of that. Off the fumes of Culture, Migos have scaled pop music’s Everest. The project, a pivotal moment for the crew. Through their work, we now mention them among rap’s most cached acts. NWA, A Tribe Called Quest, The Lox - rap trios were a foundational stone in hip-hop’s maturation. From the old school to the new school though, groups have faded in regularity and impact. The ascension of Migos is a refreshing reminder of groups like Run DMC to EPMD and De La Soul. Though vastly different in style and maybe substance, Migos have chalked their names in the rap record books. Where do the Migos rank in the modern-day rap collectives, not just trios? Love or hate them you must acknowledge their mark on the modern generation of music. Whatever your opinion of the crew or their style of rap, one thing is for sure their impact has been felt throughout the game. With all this in mind, we revisit some of the most memorable records during the group’s run, post-Culture fame. Pure Water Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images for BET "Pure Water" is the best overall song the group has been featured on since their first album. Produced by the studio magician himself, Mustard, the beat is so characteristically Migos. Engaging but not overpowering and the trio do a great job of riding the beat fluidly. Match this with Quavo’s hook and well-placed ad-libs and it’s a perfect fit. To boot, each of the group’s verses are strong on this selection leaving nothing to be desired. Motor Sport This time, Murda Beatz is responsible for the foundation of this record. The seminal hit off Culture II, "Motor Sport" saw the Migos join with Cardi B to produce one of the year’s biggest songs. The hollow vocal delivery paired with the bells and chimes works extremely well once blended with an ultra-cool, toned-down delivery by the crew. Nicki Minaj is not to be forgotten as she contributes a very formidable feature. Walk it Talk it One of my favorite instrumental intros from the Migos catalog comes off "Walk It Talk It" - maybe the most fun. Drizzy Drake comes in mid-way through the track to drops a fantastic verse while the conveyor belt of star-producers continues here with OG Parker on the beat. Stir Fry Paras Griffin/Getty Images Featuring a beat that feels very Neptune-influenced, Pharrell Williams kills the production. The hallowed echo’s on Quavo’s hook is a perfect pairing with the whistles and snares. Overall the record is a ton of fun and gets people on the dance floor. Narcos What a track! Quavo leveraged the success of this song into an actual appearance on the hit-show Narcos. So it goes without saying that this song was monstrously popular and a pop culture novelty. Cardi B - Drip Emma McIntyre/Getty Images Migos teamed up with Cardi B on Invasion and Privacy and dished the project a Grammy-winning assist with “Drip” which was one of 2018’s hottest songs drenched with quotable lyrics - none more than the hook itself. Cardi and the crew are a perfect match in the studio with their ultra-aggressive and braggadocious lyrical style. While this is technically a Cardi track, Migos overwhelmingly make the song what it is. 2 Chainz - Blue Cheese 2017 was quite the year for Migos, the trio were everywhere. On one of the year’s most popular albums, 2 Chainz’s Pretty Girls Like Trap Music Quavo provided the hook for both "Good Drank" and "Blue Cheese" - with the rest of his team joining him on the latter. In small doses like a hook - Quavo’s voice works extremely well with auto-tune as shown in these two songs. In the second verse, Offset gives Travis Scott vibes with his bars. Overall a very enjoyable feature by the team. Big Sean - Sacrifices From his album I Dedicated, Big Sean taps the Migos to join him on "Sacrifices." Together, they chronicle what was given up for them to reach ultimate musical success. Offset’s verse brings a ton of energy and cadence to the track while Quavo’s mellow, smooth delivery balances the song somewhere between introspective and hardcore. An underrated bar in the song is when Quavo says “sacrificed yo stripes for that stain.” DaBaby - Raw Shit Production on DaBaby’s "Raw Shit" is the perfect type of beat for Migos to unleash a barrage of their signature ad-libs. It’s also conducive to their triplet flow. After DaBaby scorches the track off top - Quavo, Offset and Takeoff give short, jabby bars with clever punchlines. I would love to see more collaboration between these two in the future as it worked so well here. Travis Scott - Who? What! Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images Quavo and Takeoff are all over one of the most underrated tracks from Travis Scott’s Astroworld. The two blend seamlessly into Scott’s unique style - utilizing auto-tune and other vocal treatments to enhance their delivery. Quavo kicks off the song with Scott using rifts and ad-libs to prime the beat. Later, Takeoff’s quick but potent verse provides a sting for the short but sensational song. 21 Savage - BBO (Bad Bitches Only) 21 Savage rides shotgun this time with the Migos, on this ode to women with unapologetic style and swagger. Takeoff delivers the track’s best verse over the subtly dope Buddah Bless beat. Is there a song you feel like we missed? Sound off in the comments with your favorite Migos song since Culture. 24. Remember when Ted Cruz forgot that his "likes" were public on Twitter and he added a porn video to his favorites? Well, that basically just happened again but, this time, our Forever President is the target. Post-presidency Barack Obama doesn't have a care in the world. He'll do whatever the hell he wants to do and, if that includes following a well-known porn star on social media, then so be it. When people started to notice that Sara Jay, a Cincinnati-based adult actress, earned a follow from the forty-forth President of the United States, reactions were almost instantaneous as the entertainer found her name in the trending topics. Jesse Grant/Getty Images "Obama thought he was logged in to his incognito account," wrote one fan who found the whole situation funny. Others just continued sharing the meme of Michelle Obama snatching away Barack's phone. At the end of the day, it's possible that Obama's finger slipped and pressed the follow button as he was looking for another Sara on Twitter. It's also possible that he just doesn't give a shit anymore and is out here following an ultra-popular porn star. Either way, this isn't really too big of a deal. The current President once (or was it just once?) said that women will let you do anything to them when you're famous. "Grab 'em by the pussy," he said on Access Hollywood. Following a porn star is nothing compared to that. [via] View the full article
