11 years 3 months and 28 days for me. But I didn't go cold turkey. Went to rehab, and tons of meetings after that. But I still smoke a little bud once in a while.

Finally gettin my amp in my car.... I think? Was supposed to get it wednesday, but the shop was down an installer, and has been behind ever since.

Ahh, my weekend should be the best for quite a while. Dad is doing well, and mom is also settled in well in the home. My wife Jyl is doing fantastic after emergency back surgery, as she couldnt walk, and was in a wheelchair. That is why I have not been around all that much. She is my life, and my breath. There is no me without her. Our holidays consisted with 16 trips to the emergency room at the local hospital, and many more to other ones. Her pain started on boxing day, and ended almost 2 weeks ago thanks to a great Dr, who removed the piece of the disk in her spine that caused her to be paralized. She is now walking, with no pain, and although a bit weak in her legs, I now have her back. Rock on my little lady.

PS, yes, Im a hopeless romantic.

Joe the name is Curtis, as I consider this crew to be some of my best friends. Yes it is great news, and I even left her have one beer tonight. She is not a drinker, but it was more of a celebration, of her being pain free. To see her able to lay back on the couch, and relax was worth the world to me. I wont go into details, but Joe knows the battles that have been fought. I now have my partner, and best friend back.
