Foxy Brown Forced to Apologize in Court
robsterman1 replied to Lord_of_the_Dense's topic in Music & Entertainment News
She deserved what she got for breaking the rules of the courtroom...chewing gum during a court session is indeed disrespectful of the court and the judge was right in enforcing it firmly. Shame on Foxy for that transgression!! -
Perhaps as a promotional item, put coupons in with their discs to invite people to buy the shares...ROFL!

I believe that will end up being a wasted effort on the MPAA's part, as the bill only applies to California and not anywhere else :P

I got the new version installed just now and it seems to be OK, with nothing sneaky. Methinks this is just an interim release until the long awaited WinMX 4.0 is released. Heard that the 4.0 release will be radically different.

I will be doing the same. We all need to get some sort of petition together to stop this piece of insane legislation from ever becoming the law of the land in the USA!
-
Ah thanks....will ask Kooperman about that one.

Talk about trippy tunes..."Tequila" by the Champs.

What about the Hot Rocks 1964 album? That album's got a lot of good material on it. Is that just a compilation? "Play With Fire" is a tune I like on that album.
-
What about the music of The Youngbloods? "Get Together" was their best tune and hearing it gives me a thrill. Any other tracks of theirs worth checking out? I no longer have their album, alas, due to a burglary years ago. :(

Bob Seger's music definitely has the power, grace and smoothness that people come to expect from good musicians. Shame I don't see that in many of todays musicians. Sorry if I offend all you rockers, but today's rock doesn't have the "knack" it used to have as music has become way too commercial and packaged, thanks to the greed of the RIAA. Independent artists are the way to go. ROCK ON :)

Night Moves is my fave Bob Seger track...I also have most of his albums and they are all very masterful works.
