  1. I can see that some people may want to be cautious. I don't think that the industry would have anything to gain by attacking individuals. Anyway, users can always switch off browsing files, forcing a direct chat if people want to check out eachother collections. Ultimately, how much longer is BK going to be "low key"? I suppose unlike ZP, BK is a lot more about the music than learning the tricks of the trade. The chats can't be set up by invitation only. Does anyone not hang out in the Ares/anyother chat because of the profile of the chat?
  2. I don't think that Spain is out directly because of the bombings. Like most of the coalition countries, the citizens of Spain were fed up with what has been percieved as lies and spin. With the lie about who was behind the Madrid bombings, the spainish felt like they had been pushed too far by their government. Enter new government, who has had a policy to pull troops from Iraq for a long time. I can't imagine that the Spanish don't want to revenge the Madrid bombings. Does anyone believe that the Spainish thought "well we have learnt our lesson, we had better stop fighting" when they heard who was behind the bombings? I don't. People are going very anti-blair at the moment. People are fed up with a war that is no longer providing exciting news. Instead the news is of English deaths in a war a million miles from home, that we are only in because of lies. A terrorist attack on the UK would bring the war home, uniting the country. I think it is the best Blair can hope for.
  3. Do you think I should rename the Ares chat (which is back up again lol) to Beatbox, then open the subject up to those at BK and ZP? It is never the liveliest chat in the world, but like #beatbox, it isn't meant to be.
  4. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just this, but it seems like everthing needs registration. It just isn't practical to sign up for everything you just want to have a peek at.
  5. I like killing, I do! Ah - I get it now. It's bordem being killed, not the sheep. Shame.
  6. :spammer: Although I also don't like any of these, I wouldn't ague worst bands ever. Surely by "worst bands," nobody should like them. These are all much loved bands!
  7. It doesn't sound friendly, but I can't say that I'm a pro on the seal population of canada!
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 30? Make it a good one! :Here's to you:
  9. From that BBC site: "and to raise revenue" Why exactly are motorist being picked out to fund public services?
  10. I filled up for 76p/litre today. I had to amke the few drops in my tank last from Poole to Southampton. In Poole it costs 80p. Time for more petrol strikes? The government said in the budget that they wanted to put up prices again during the course of the year. Some guy from Cambridge was on newsnight a month or so ago. He has been researching petrol prices for the last 20 years. Motorist now pay twice the private and public cost of motoring. That is before the economic benefits of cars are considered, like increased labour mobility and all the jobs that motoring creates. With all the voting motorists in the country, it is a bit confusing how we are getting so badly screwed.
  11. I can tell you know how the industry will react: Norah Jones is for old people who don't know how to download. It shows our sue 'em all campaign is working Our figures show different Take your pick.
  12. Well I travelled 70miles to go to a party. It was a joint party between a flatmate and his girlfriend. All their family were there and all my flatmates friends from where he grew up and all his girlfriends friends. Out of 200 people, I knew a grand total of - 5! And I got 3 eggs! mmmmm.
  13. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  14. Happy Easter everyone! :envy: (I could find any other easter threads)
  15. When is the cinema release date in the UK for the film?
  16. It was people that wanted to call eachothers mums names (screw you if you think I'm even attempting to put the apostrophes in the right place!), whilst making sentences rhyme. I'm sorry, I didn't join in. Talking of which, I should be hosting the chat again as of this sunday, but I will be about 70 miles from the computer hosting it. It's a complicated situation!
  17. What's wrong with #beatking? Or do you want a name that is more open? Something which suggests that the chat is more than music. I found with the beatking chat on Ares, lots of people came in to "battle".
  18. In my opinion, not even worth downloading. To anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of the band invading their national charts - don't get too excited! I wouldn't call them a boy band, but they are funded by rich parents and sing lame songs. Strangely my dad likes them, but that is painful for me to discuss, so we wont.
  19. Music Group Busted Proud to Be Pop LONDON - Busted want you to know: They're pop, not plastic. The London-based trio, currently on a sold-out stadium tour of Britain, may be freshly scrubbed moppets whose melodic punk-pop thrills fans. But don't call them a boy band. "We hate being called a boy band, because it comes under a shameful category," said 18-year-old guitarist-singer Charlie Simpson. "There's a lot of bands that used to be called pop, in the '60s and '70s, that were great bands. "It's all manufactured now," Simpson said by phone from a hotel room in Manchester. "There's businessmen sitting in offices thinking, `How can we make more money here?' And that's not what music is about." Read more
  20. "I always liked viruses " "Me too......... " There seems to be some crazy house people escaped! Or are we trying to avoid getting DDoSed ourselves?
  21. You may laugh, but that is really, really bad! We are OK as we know better, but what about all those that will get coned by this?
