Sad day for the human kind

It makes me sick.  It really makes one think, What has happened to the human race?

Nothing ever really happened, because there never was a period where anyone could say otherwise.

Humans have always slaughtered each other and done many other things.

All signs point that we will continue to do so, until our own end.

I saw many reporters cry while talking live to their networks from that school. Reporters that have covered wars.

I heard one reporter say that a kid was shot 46 times while trying to run from that school. All shots were on that childs back.

another terrible story came on surface today.

In that school there was a mother with both her children. The terrorists told her she could leave but take only one of her kids with her. She said she would stay if both were released. The terrorists told her they won't negotiate. She chose the younger child and left her older daughter. That was the last time she saw her

I wonder now if we will EVER have peace on this planet!

No. It's the way humans are. In fact, it's the way all animals are but we have "better" weapons

:( ... beyond words to describe ... the murders described are lower than what animals would do ... animals don't kill, torture for the sheer fun or selfishness of killing and maiming ... when an animal kills, it is for a reason, but not so with humans ... really so such a sad state of human affairs ... man, able to reason, lower than unreasoning animals ...

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
