I sucked at school. I never actually got my sound enginnering degree in college but now I finally got something. Results came a couple of days ago and I passed my english language proficiency from Michigan University. I tell you, it's difficult for non english speakers. I can even teach at schools now.

I will now frame it, stick it on the wall and let it sit there for the rest of my life

Great job, Method. It's been said that English is one of the most difficult languages to learn. Hell, most Americans don't speak it propoerly!!

Anyway, congratulations my friend!!

:good job: :good job:

Yeah! What he said!! Hell, I lived in the U.S. all my life and I can't speak English. Lots of people can't. How do you think Bush got elected? Democrats in Florida can't even read a ballot.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
