Whoa who edited my post with a video? :)

DudeAsInCool has a habit of that.

If he wasn't so helpful (in addition to being full of shit) I'd cap him 4sure. He is currently on my "Do not cap list". However, his name is in pencil and I have lots of erasers.

The Main Ingredient - Tasteful Soul (1970)

The best description I can give of this album is that the title says it all. Tasteful Soul

They do a very nice cover of "Make It With You".

Tracks

A1 I´m Better Off Without You (3:10)

A2 Magic Shoes (2:40)

A3 I´m So Proud (3:33)

A4 Somebody´s Been Sleeping (2:53)

A5 Make It With You (3:40)

B1 Spinning Around (I Must Be Falling In Love) (3:12)

B2 Need Her Love (Mr. Bugler) (3:14)

B3 That´s What Fate Will Do (3:30)

B4 Look At Me (3:03)

B5 Searching (3:28)

The pics aren't the best but they are what I have. I was glad to get them and the album. Complainers will be shot.

I actually saw Armin Van Burren Live at the Lovefest San Fransisco 2008. It was amazing. Deadmau5 is also one of my favorite electronic producers of all time. You guys should seriously check out his new album.

Kenny Vance & The Planotones - Countdown To Love (2007)

Kenny Vance was a member of Jay & The Americans back in the 60's. He is still performing and recording today. This is his latest album. He does a lot of DooWop type songs in the 50's style. Track one is a cover of the song that was a hit by "The Stereos" back in the early 60's. It is an excellent cover. If you like DooWop/50's type tunes then you probably will like Kenny Vance and the Planotones. I wish I had some other albums of his but I don't. I was glad to find this one.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
