  4. Its fine. We get alot of traffic from people who arent members. Im pleased they dropped by...and I know they will come back again and again. If they join us great...if not, at least we've shared something fun, or some info with them. So if you're reading this, non-members, we hope you enjoy your stay at Beatking :)

  9. We had an alternative rock section for a moment..but the nomenclature gets confusing between that and progressive. So we lumped it all under rock. I figure you can name the album, and then put metal, progrssive, etc underneath. Feel free to start a progressive rock thread and define it. Im still not sure what the difference is between alternative and progressive lol
  10. Made perfect sense to me - its all cool, now :good job:
  11. Synopsis from IMDB for the first one: The Bride" was once part of a group of world class female assassins, until the group leader, "Bill" and the other assassins turn against her. Five years later "The Bride" awakens from the coma the assassins left her in and heads out to seek bloody revenge. Unlike conventional movies, Kill Bill is told in chapter format making the narrative flow more like a book than a film. The review for the second one is on the site under ent. news. I havent seen either. My friends tell me that the first one is better. Expect a stylistic film with a lot film references, pop dialogue, choreographed (fun) violence, and a hip sountrackwith a stellar cast.
  12. Bump (This was a good one - shouldnt be missed)
  13. In this exclusive for the NY Times, James Fallows of the Atlantic Monthly takes a look at the race for humans to control the information over their computers and networks. You can read the full article here: :read this: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/04/18/business...ney/18tech.html
  14. Spring Break in sunny Florida turned grey with the cops arresting over 5000 underage kids for drinking violations and confiscating over 1000 IDs. Jeb Bush had over a 1000 police across the state ready for the melee, and arrests were up over 57% from last yeasr. 15. lol. fw always has the best gifs and attachments... :good job:
  16. I'd be more interested if Wolfie would throw in some gold-plated machine guns leftover from the House of Saddam
  17. Good post. Unlike Microsoft, I think Apple will eventually resolve these problems re: for car use, MP3s, etc. I think this may be a case where technology moves faster than they can adopt. I could be naieve, but Apple is generally more flexible than most companies. Cant say I disagree with Apple re: the knockoff IPods...
  18. I think I've read that guy, CTC. By the way, the Russians were ahead of the curve when it came to science fiction stuff... And then of course, there is Bulgakov--he was and still is ahead of everyone
  19. I made a film with the rights holder and director who have this property-i think it will be an uphill battle to get this one off the ground--unless they turn to the guy who made the last one happen :)
