  1. As fans await Roddy Ricch's follow-up to Feed The Streets II, the California rapper continues to deliver a slow roll out of singles. He recently dropped off "Big Stepper" not long ago, a single that was well-received by fans, and there have been requests for Roddy to share the release date for his forthcoming project Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial. It seems that Roddy is keeping that information close to the chest, but on Friday he shared new music once again, a track titled "Start Wit Me" featuring Gunna. Roddy has previously expressed that there is no underlying delay in releasing Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial aside from wanting to perfect the album. "I just do what I can do and try to just tell my story," Roddy recently said. "Just give the young people something that's real. Something that ain't fixated. Something that they could connect to. Like people that came before me, I don't know some rappers, how real they are, how fake they are, with my story I try to just lay out the facts and let the younger people choose what they want to do." Check out "Start Wit Me" and let us know what you think. 20. It's hard to believe that Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus's "Old Town Raod" remix is only a little over six months old. Since it was released in April, the infectious track has been difficult to shake. It's inclusion, then exclusion, from Billboard's country charts made the song go viral, and the social media wave made it a record-breaker. It stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 19 consecutive weeks, beating out Mariah Carey's tear-jerking 1995 collaboration with Boyz II Men, "One Sweet Day," which previously held the record at 17 weeks. Manny Carabel/Getty Images The whirlwind has taken Lil Nas X around the globe and back again as he performed at sold-out festivals to crowds in the tens of thousands. He only has two singles under his belt, but both have been hits on the charts. The pressures of fame were so intense that the Georgia native announced he was taking a break from music, but even while he was catching some "R&R" in Hawaii with his loved ones, "Old Town Road" continued to break records. It was announced on Tuesday that the hit single is the first song in 2019 to become certified Diamond as it has surpassed 10,000,000 units. Not only is the rapper celebrating his track's new status, but it's also reported that "Old Town Road" reached Diamond status faster than any other song in history. Whether you love it or hate it, "Old Town Road" will be considered one of the greatest songs of all time. We wonder...what will a Top 50 Best Singles list will look like in 30 years? 22. The ExpediTIously podcast has featured a number of guests, but it's most recent episode united T.I. with his wife Tiny on air. The happily married couple tackled the topic of relationships as they spoke on singleness, marriage life, and everything in-between. Although the pair have been married for nine years, they've been together for 19. The couple has endured ups and downs, some of which were played out messily in the media for the world to see, but they've endured their struggles and have come out on the other side as a solid union. Jason Merritt/Getty Images During the "Battle of the Sexes" episode, T.I. asked Tiny why she thinks people in today's era get married. "Well, I don't know, but let me tell you. I'll never forget when I was about 16, 15-years-old, Aunt Joyce, Kandi's [Burruss] mama told me: 'Do not marry for love,'" the singer revealed of her friend and fellow Xscape member's mother. "'Marry for...'" Tiny draws a blank, but T.I. helps her out and finishes her thought. "Security," he said. Tiny went on to say she didn't understand with Ms. Joyce was saying at the time, but before Tiny could complete her sentence, T.I. jumped in. "See, nobody had that conversation me," he stated. "See men, this the first thing, right. Women are being trained and conditioned from children. This young lady [was] 15-years-old, an older...like a O.G. gave her the game and said, 'Listen here, young lady. You gon' fall in love, but forget that.'" 23. London On Da Track isn't letting his woman go that easily. It's only been a couple of months since Summer Walker and producer London On Da Track have gone public with their romance, but it looked to be over after the singer shared an update on Instagram. "Single. Lol somehow I always end up with male chauvinist," she wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday. "Im a alpha female so I guess when I think for myself/make my own decisions it's taken as disrespect. That was cute tho. God bless him still a sweet man deep down inside." Although she cut ties with London in front of the entire world, the producer, who was responsible for her No. 1 album, was determined to win back his girlfriend. The singer was performing in London just 24 hours after she broke up with her beau when he took a cue from Offset and went on stage during her performance. He had gifts in hand as he cautiously approached Summer, but the two kissed and made up, literally, on stage in front of a screaming crowd of fans. It's not surprising that this breakup didn't last long considering just days ago London shared a photo of himself with Summer with a caption that reads, "Gone change her name ." Check out the break-up-to-make-up moment below. View the full article
  24. He may be madly in love with his girlfriend Sabrina Parr, but it's obvious from Lamar Odom's episode of Uncensored that he still has love and respect for Taraji P. Henson. The former basketball star and the actress dated over a decade ago, and according to Lamar, he truly cared for her. He's talked about their previous relationship in his best-selling memoir Darkness To Light, but it seems he still has a few things to get off of his chest about his romance with the Oscar-nominated star. Noel Vasquez/Getty Images "I just wish I would have done things different," Lamar said on Uncensored. "She was a little older than me, but I learned a lot from her because that was the most significant relationship, as a grown-up, that I had with a black woman. I used to carry her picture on the road with me. Don't nobody know that except for dudes that played with me. She gave me inspiration, you know what I'm sayin'? A black woman working like that, that's just as good at her craft that [I am] in my craft." Lamar admitted that Taraji may have been responsible for a few of his best plays on the road. "I remember we were on the road for our longest road trip and we were playing Cleveland. I went off they ass...but what I'm gettin' at. One of the inspirations, that's part of the inspiration was going back to see her, gettin' back to L.A., was one of the reasons why I kicked they ass that day," he said. "I remember how I was feeling during that game and after that game. Just...she inspired me." The couple could have been long-lasting, had Lamar not cheated on Taraji with his future ex-wife. "Things ended with Taraji because me being an immature punk, I didn't know how to tell her that I was falling in love with another woman named Khloé Kardashian." Check out the Uncensored clip of Lamar once again sharing stories about his former flame. View the full article
  25. At this point, Jussie Smollett would probably like nothing more than to put this who alleged hoax attack behind him. The actor has been disgraced in the media, called a liar by the public, and has been fired from his hit show Empire. Smollett's career was at an all-time high when he was allegedly attacked on the streets of Chicago by who he described as being two white men shouting racial epithets, but now he's facing off in court with Windy City officials. Nuccio DiNuzzo/Getty Images The District Attorney may have dropped the charges against Smollett, but there is still a lawsuit filed against him by the City of Chicago. The Chicago Police Department has openly stated that it is their belief Smollett staged the attack on himself and falsified a police report, so officials have made it their mission to get the actor to pay in some way. If they can't prosecute him, they're going for his wallet for what they claim was a waste of time and resources. The City of Chicago has sued Smollett for hundreds of thousands of dollars, and the actor, along with his attorneys, has asked a judge to dismiss the lawsuit. The City wants Smollett to be held financially accountable for the police overtime costs of $130K, and they're also seeking damages to the tune of $260K. However, Smollett and his team received bad news on Tuesday after Judge Virginia M. Kendall reportedly rejected their request. According to Variety, the judge also scolded Smollett's lawyers over their "attempts to muddy the waters with irrelevant arguments." View the full article
