  1. Celebrity boxing matches have consistently been money-makers for promoters. Soon, Floyd Mayweather will face off against YouTubers-turned-boxer Logan Paul, Lamar Odom is scheduled to go up against an unnamed opponent this summer, and in an unlikely pairing, Natalie Nunn and Tommie Lee will apparently throw bows in the ring. Recently, the infamous Bad Girls Club star challenged Tommie to a boxing match, and in a response video posted last night (January 21), Lee accepted with open arms. This seemed out of left field for the public, so people began to speculate that this may have been rooted in animosity. Tommie quickly shut that down. "Y'all I have absolutely No beef with her this is all in love for the sport," Lee wrote in an Instagram post. "Just fun and games this isn't about violence at all I do not know @realmissnatalienunn or anything about her this will actually be my 1st time meeting her in the Ring May the best Queen win." Today, Nunn gave her fans a glimpse at her hands as she shared a video of herself training with her coach. Other than Tommie accepting the invitation to go round for round in the ring, there hasn't been any definitive information regarding where and where this match would take place. Watch Tommie agreeing to the match above and Natalie throwing some punches below. View the full article
  2. When Celina Powell becomes a trending topic, no one is surprised by whatever antics may have recently occurred. One of Rap's current most infamous groupies doesn't hesitate to share her alleged encounters with some of our favorite stars, and often, Powell goes into explicit detail. Whether she's accusing Snoop Dogg of infidelity or calling out Tory Lanez, Powell is still able to connect with rap stars while living in the reputation of being a person who airs out everyone's alleged dirty laundry. Powell's most popular appearances have been on No Jumper as she adds more shock value to her long list of supposed bedroom tales, and during a recent sit down with VladTV, Adam22 shared the story of why he canceled his podcast with Powell and her friend. "They did a couple episodes but I kinda underestimated the extent to which giving her a show would change the way that people viewed me doing content with her so much, you know?" he said. "'Cause it went from, 'Oh, this is a person that Adam does podcasts with occasionally' to 'Adam is setting up a platform for these girls to destroy Black men.'" Adam mentioned the Odell Beckham Jr. scandal where the ladies started a viral rumor that the NFL star liked to be defecated on. "It just very quickly, like, them doing the podcast was starting to get the brand of like, oh, this is a platform for these girls to tear down successful Black men." He added that while No Jumper received an abundance of views following the ladies exposing famous men on their podcast, Adam decided it wasn't worth it. Watch his clip below. View the full article
  3. Whenever there is a confirmed Verzuz on the horizon, fans love to come up with their preferred match-ups. We recently witnessed Keyshia Cole and Ashanti grace us with their R&B favorites, and while we're still reeling from Verzuz season, it's easy to find conversations about pairings. Usher and Chris Brown became trending topics after R&B fans debated who would take the crown; Lil Flip revealed in an interview that if the bag was right, he'd go up against T.I.; and Jim Jones commented on the fantasy of seeing Dipset and G-Unit on the program together. Paras Griffin / Stringer / Getty Images Days ago, a meme surfaced asking the public to weigh in on who would come out on top if Dipset and G-Unit were to face off. People began to share their opinions and Jones let it be known that he's not afraid of any hit-for-hit battle. "[Five] cam records 5 juelz records 5 Jim records 5 Dipset records," he commented on the post. "We want all [the] smoke wit who ever." Jones and 50 Cent haven't exactly been the best of friends, so placing their collectives together for a chance at reconciliation is something fans would be excited to see. Last month, while speaking with the Joe Budden Podcast, Jim Jones predicted what a Dipset appearance with G-Unit would look like. "If there were a chance for the G-Unit thing would happen, it wouldn't exactly count it out," he said. "I'd say it would probably be even more aggressive than even the Jeezy-Guwop Verzuz. I wanna wrestle and fight and sh*t." Separately, French Montana recently shared that he and former foe Jones have agreed to appear on Verzuz if the opportunity presented itself. View the full article
  4. We're fast approaching Lifetime's Salt-N-Pepa biopic's premiere, and the drama surrounding the film is already unfolding. We've previously reported on the strained relationship between Diedra "DJ Spinderella" Roper and her former groupmates Cheryl "Salt" James and Sandra "Pepa" Denton, but her removal from the biopic escalated the rift. On Friday (January 22), the day before the film's premiere, Spinderella took to both Twitter and Instagram to share her "disappointment" in being excluded from the story of the group's development. "There's nothing more unacceptable than a woman being silenced by another woman," wrote Spin. "It is for this reason, I will not be supporting this biopic." Meanwhile, Pepa spoke with the New York Post about this film, revealing that it was a struggle for her to accurately share the alleged domestic violence she claims she endured while married to Naughty By Nature's Treach. “Nothing was off-limits,” the 54-year-old rap legend told the outlet. “In the movie, I didn’t just want to focus on the negative things between us. I wanted to be fair to [Treach] and show that despite the bad, he was a good guy, too.” “People will get to see the struggle we endured as female rappers in a male-dominated industry,” she added. “We had to fight for our voices to be heard." In the coming months, Salt-N-Pepa will be honored at the Grammys as the recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award, followed by the celebration of their Hollywood Walk of Fame star. The Hip Hop duo is also open to getting back into the studio, however, they haven't carved out plans to do so just yet. Check out a few posts below. [via] View the full article
  5. She was raised in the Hip Hop industry and Coi Leray is hoping to earn the respect that the rap greats have accumulated. The 23-year-old has recently made headlines over her affectionate social media and paparazzi moments with Blueface, but she recently returned to share her new single, "No More Parties." Leray has taken advantage of what rap stardom has to offer, and she now sings about regrouping to elevate to the next level. We previously reported on a standout lyric from the single that included a mention of her father, Benzino. Coi Leray says "my daddy let me down" during a verse where she speaks about strained relationships within her family, adding that she would say "f*ck that man" but it wouldn't help. Stream Coi Leray's "No More Parties" and let us know what you think. Quotable Lyrics I'm to busy getting this money Counting this cheddar My daddy let me down But I promise you I won't let up I wanna say f*ck that man But this sh*t won't make me better Me and my brother still beefin' right now 'Cause he ain't get that letter View the full article
  6. This past holiday season was especially exciting for Masika Kalysha after the model and entrepreneur announced her engagement. Initially, Masika played coy about revealing the identity of her new fiancé, but soon she shared that her beau was a man named Jamar Champ. The two slowly began sharing bits of their love with the world, and it didn't take long for an engagement party video to make its way online. Following her engagement announcement, Masika revealed the history that she and Champ share. "Met my fiancé 10 years ago. Curved him for 97% of those 10 years," she tweeted. "Been dating for 4 months. He asked me to marry him 4 days ago. Last night I asked him what made you so sure after only 4 months of dating? He said I knew 10 years ago, on the day I met you that I was gonna marry u." However, things have gone sour just weeks later, and on Friday (January 22), Masika announced that she and Champ had separated. She wrote a lengthy post on Instagram after she and her ex-fiancé sent subliminal Story shots to one another throughout the day. "After much thought and careful consideration, along with some unfortunate findings, I have made the difficult decision to call off my engagement," wrote Masika. She stated that she did her best to "respectfully disengage, quietly" to avoid the "public embarrassment and scrutiny that I am accustomed to on a daily basis." Masika accused Champ of using her celebrity status to further his own agenda and added that after a 10-year friendship, she thought she "truly" knew him. "We genuinely love and care for each other, unfortunately when you are a public figure love does not cover a multitude of sins," said the reality star. "After doing my due diligence I uncovered a pandoras box of findings that left me questioning everything I thought I knew about this person. I confided in him. I thought he was my best friend, partner and confidant; but instead he was trying to come up at my expense and extort me... Please respect my privacy." 7. Their beef has since ended, but the tension between Lil Flip and T.I. was much talked about over a decade ago. It was reported that back in 2005, Houston's Flip and Atlanta's Tip got into a street fight in H-Town, and they were said to have remained at odds for a number of years. The rappers have put those unfavorable moments in the past, but during his recent appearance on the Donnie Houston Podcast, Flip was asked if he would appear on Verzuz as a sign of solidarity similar to what Gucci Mane and Jeezy did on the program. "That was historic," Flip said. "Shout out to Jeezy and Gucci, man. That was big for the culture." The host wanted to know if Flip would be open to pairing with T.I. on the platform. "A lot of people ask that," said the rapper. "I don't know. It's possible, but if Verzuz want me to do something, man, Imma need a real, real big bag, 'cause somebody makin' some money off of that. Somebody gettin' some money. You know what I mean? But uh, yeah, it's possible. It's gon' take a real nice bag." Lil Flip was then asked that if there was a Houston-centered Verzuz, which hometown artist would he like to go up against. "Hey, when you the best, it don't matter," he answered. "It don't matter. And even with the Verzuz, it's crazy, man. And just to see two artists—it's a dope ass idea though. But I'm Flip Mayweather. You put 'em in front of me, Imma knock 'em all out." Do you think T.I. and Flip would make a good match? Check out Lil Flip's interview below as well as his freestyle on the podcast. View the full article
  8. An unlikely beef was introduced back in December 2019, and it was officially put to rest during yesterday's (January 21) Verzuz. The world bore witness to O.T. Genasis and Keyshia Cole going back and forth over his Crip cover of her hit single "Love," and things escalated when the rapper took aim at the singer's mother. Frankie Lons has shared her journey to recovery with a worldwide audience on reality television, and last year, Keyshia shared that Lons had entered rehab. After posting a few insults about Frankie's substance abuse struggles, O.T. Genasis became a target. Keyshia Cole's sisters Neffe and Elite Noel went after the rapper, and time has not made the animosity dissipate. After Genasis made an appearance on Verzuz with Cole, Elite Noel shared a video where she made it clear she was not happy to see their union. "Let me just tell y'all where it went left, for me," said Noel in a video posted to Instagram. "'Cause you know, I'm motherf*ckin' Keyshia 'til the day I d-i-motherf*ckin'-e. When you let a n*gga hug you that got on the internet jokin' about sellin' yo mama motherf*ckin' crack, that's when I gotta take a step back. B*tch, that's a no-go for me. You can't touch me, you can't breathe on me, you can't—I don't give a f*ck about what none of y'all gotta say. Don't touch me if you brag about or laugh about sellin' my motherf*ckin' mama—the b*tch who birthed us...the reason y'all got Keyshia is 'cause Frankie didn't give up." Reactions to the video were divided as some people were pleased that the Keyshia and Genasis could put the drama behind them while others agreed with Elite's take on the situation. 9. As Lil Baby quietly plots his 2021 takeover, the rapper has stepped back from social media. The My Turn artist closed out 2020 on a rough note after a scandal involving an adult actress permeated social media, and after that scandal faded away, Baby announced he was taking a break from online antics. Earlier today, the rapper resurfaced in an interview with NME where he talked about his beginning in the rap game and how instrumental Young Thug was in his success. “I was in the neighborhood and he was like, ‘What you doing in the neighborhood?’ I was like, ‘You already know what I’m doing’,” Baby said. “So he was like, ‘Okay, how much money are you gonna make today?’ I was probably going to make like $7K, maybe $10K. He just went, ‘I’ll give you that – just go to the studio.’ Sh*t went like that.” While many rappers will state that they knew from Day One that they would top the charts, Lil Baby certainly wasn't convinced of his own success. “I definitely didn’t see it,” he said, adding that Thugger knew Baby would be a star. “Even if I thought I was going to be a big rapper and blow up, I could never imagine it would be at this level. [Young Thug’s success] definitely inspired me but I never thought that if it could happen for him then it could happen for me. I just went and did it." Kevin Winter / Staff / Getty Images Elsewhere, Lil Baby also spoke about Kanye West saying that the Atlanta rapper wouldn't jump on a song with him. Baby told NME that he immediately resolved that situation. “[After the tweets] I tried to reach out to him,” said the rapper. “I got his number to give each other a direct line then he sent me on a jet to Wyoming – and the rest is history.” [via] View the full article
  10. Back in September 2020, Bow Wow welcomed a baby boy, Stone Moss, into the world with model Olivia Sky. It's unclear what their relationship is currently, but judging from the sweet daddy-son photos that Bow Wow has shared on social media, the two seem to be quietly co-parenting. Recently, Olivia shared a message that had the rumor mill churning after she gave a shout out to the "real fathers" who are invested in their children's lives. "I swear I salute all the real fathers!" Olivia wrote on her Instagram Story. "The ones who actually get their child and spend time with them. The ones who calls and check on them on a daily basis. The ones who actually stand on what they say! The ones who call and volunteer to get them and the mother don't have to ask! The ones who pick their child up to get their hair cut when it's time. (the ones who have boys)." "The ones who don't talk bad about their sons mother when she frfr holding sh*t down!!!" Sky added. "The ones who knows what really going on with their child." Olivia Sky didn't implicitly name Bow Wow, but the internet was quick to suggest that she was taking a jab at the father of her child. Check out the post below. View the full article
  11. A new report suggested that Sheff G was looking at a set of legal troubles following a traffic stop, but the rapper took to Instagram to share that life is going well. The New York Post shared a report earlier today (January 22) stating that the rapper ran into trouble after officers stopped him for making an illegal U-Turn. Sheff G, real name Michael Williams, was also accused of driving without a front license plate, and during the traffic stop, officers decided to search the rapper's vehicle. It was then that they allegedly located a loaded .45-caliber firearm "in a hidden compartment in the car." The 22-year-old rapper was reportedly charged with "three counts of criminal possession of a weapon and two traffic violations," according to court documents. The Brooklyn artist was reportedly taken into custody and has since posted his $35,000 bond. Sheff's attorney, Mitchell Elman, issued a brief statement insisting that he will do what is needed to clear the rapper of the charges. “We will vigorously defend these charges,” said Elman. “I have no further comment at this time.” Meanwhile, on Sheff's Instagram Story, he published a video of a few stacks while showing off his iced out rings and watch. "Life is great," he wrote over the clip. "Don't believe the hype." Instagram [via] View the full article
  12. She may have apologized for offending people with the preview of her "Yellow Bone" track, but that didn't stop the public from continuing the discussion about colorism. We previously reported on DaniLeigh's controversial Instagram upload where she shared a snippet of what is expected to be an upcoming single titled "Yellow Bone." Listeners weren't impressed with the song where DaniLeigh sang, "Yellow bone that's what he wants," a song that received a co-sign from DaBaby in the comments, and after receiving criticism, she questioned why she couldn't make a song for her "light skin baddies." The internet was not kind with its responses, and even a few celebrities chimed in to says that the song wasn't a good look. After tweeting away and stating that this was just another thing that people could hate her about and sharing her ethnic background as being part Black, web sleuths went through her old tweets. People began sharing screenshots of her previous messages that included references that suggested the singer doesn't think of herself as a Black woman. Soon, DaniLeigh's Twitter was deactivated, but it looks as if things are back, up, and running. Her tweets about the "Yellow Bone" controversy have been deleted, and we wouldn't be surprised if some others are missing, as well. Check out a few responses below. View the full article
  13. When Kobe Bryant passed away almost a year ago, fans began looking for an abundance of merchandise and memorabilia from Kobe's playing career. With this new demand in mind, prices jumped into the hundreds of thousands of dollars, with collectors tripping over themselves for the chance to buy something relating to Kobe. While jerseys, pieces of courts, and even basketballs have been sold, now one of his cars is hitting the auction block. According to TMZ, Goldin Auctions just received a 1963 Chevy Impala which was actually customized by West Coast Customs in 2006. The car was given the "Pimp My Ride" treatment and then gifted to Kobe by his wife Vanessa, for Christmas. In 2013, Kobe gave the car up, where it was then auctioned by Barrett-Jackson. The new seller could stand to make quite a bit of money from the car as some bidders have already tried to acquire the vehicle for six figures. In TMZ's report, it was revealed that the car could be sold for as much as $250K, which is a massive price tag although, considering the sentimental value, as well as the various customizations that were made to the car, the final price tag will be well worth it. Let us know in the comments below how much you would pay for a car like this. Ronald Cortes/Getty Images [Via] View the full article
  14. Another budding Hollywood romance has been taking over timelines now that Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey have made their relationship public. The couple has shared videos and images of themselves enjoying vacations and holidays together, and some have speculated that this could be long-lasting if they play their cards right. Recently, Steve Harvey was asked about his stepdaughter's relationship with PEOPLE's "Sexiest Man Alive," and he seems to approve but with hesitation. “I like this one. I still got my eye on him,” he said quietly. His co-hosts asked why he was speaking in a low voice. “I mean I like him, but like I say to all of ’em, ‘I might like you, I might approve of you, but I got a thumb-size section of my heart filled with nothing but pure hatred for your ass. Just in case I need it,'" Harvey quipped. "Like right now? Nice guy. But I got this little section partner, where all I gotta do is click a switch and I can hate your ass. ‘Cause, you ain’t the sexiest man in the world to me! Let’s be clear about that." His co-hosts wanted to know how involved Harvey is with Lori's suitors when he meets them. “I always stay back," he said, adding that he's critical of the men in his stepdaughter's life. "'Hey man, how you doing?' I can't stand your ass," Harvey joked. "I'm that dude." After the laughs dissipated, Steve Harvey gave advice to parents who may not approve of their child's choices. “Let me say this about parenting: it does not come with a manual. And to all the parents out there whose children have done something totally against everything you've ever tried to teach them, share with them, or get them to understand, once they become adults they can go and do whatever it is they want to,” said Harvey. “It ain’t got nothing to do with your well-wishes, your thoughts, your hopes for them, or nothing else. Do not beat yourself up as a parent when your child does something counter to what you believe is right for them, because they have to live their life and learn. And they will learn. They will eventually learn. Listen to Harvey speak about Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey's relationship below. View the full article
  15. Perhaps one of Nike's most popular activations when it comes to LeBron James was the "LeBron Watch" initiative that took place during the playoffs a few years ago. The concept was quite simple. Essentially, in every game, LeBron would be wearing a brand new shoe which would eventually become available on the Nike SNKRS App. The shoes were limited and you needed to be quick although it proved to be a fun game for sneakerheads to engage in. Today, LeBron James took to his Instagram story where he unveiled some huge news for his fans. Starting tomorrow, on the 23rd of each month, LeBron and Nike will be teaming up for the return of "LeBron Watch." In the video, the Lakers superstar even revealed which shoe will be the first one made available. As it turns out, the Nike LeBron 8 in the infamous "Graffiti" colorway will be dropping tomorrow, sometime during the Lakers match. The official images can be found below and as you can see, it's one of those colorways that will truly pop while you are out on the court. If you're a sneakerhead, this is a very exciting time although we're sure there will be plenty of Ls to go around over the coming months. View the full article
  16. The "Buss It Challenge" may be dwindling, but people are still giving their takes on the viral craze launched by Erica Banks's hit track. Social media has been inundated with videos of people from all backgrounds sharing their "Buss It" glow-ups, and like many other teens her age, Deyjah Harris was looking forward to sharing her version of the challenge. However, T.I.'s 19-year-old daughter decided against it, and she shared that her reasoning for avoiding the challenge laid heavily on the public's perception. "I was telling my mom I was gonna do it but (without the twerking and all that) and she was like yeah that'll be super cute..... BUT i already know what some of the comments are already gonna say (don't we all)," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "I just don't have time to keep explaining myself or saying the same thing over and over and over again... so I'll just sit this challenge out [skull emojis] y'all are definitely killing it though." Deyjah also gave a few examples of the criticism she would receive, including a mention of her previous "Hymengate" scandal that involved her father. "'Oh yeah she definitely f***ing now, hymen check, her pops making the appointments rn, she not no virgin no more, etc.' All that stupid ass sh*t." Check out her post below. View the full article
  17. In the early days of TLC, Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas sparked a romance with mega-producer Dallas Austin. The pair was quite serious and even welcomed a son together, but in a recent interview with Angela Yee for Fox Soul, Austin was candid about Chilli jumping into a relationship with Usher, a friend, after their breakup. Chilli and Usher would go on to date for two years before they called it quits, and while the TLC icon has stated that cheating was a factor, Usher has denied that he stepped out on his ex-girlfriend. Rick Diamond / Staff / Getty Images "I wanted to kill everybody," he said. "'Cause, honestly, I was friends with Usher, too. It was just one of those things where...we two different people. We always have been, in that sense. I feel like when—actually, it was crazy because when I moved to Miami and I just had to get out of Atlanta, too crazy. So, I moved to Miami, I set up in a house, me and her first broke up then and I started working on music in Miami in this house... By the time I called and said, 'Hey, you know what, let's be together in Miami,' she said, 'Nah, nah, it's a wrap. I'm done.'" "I’m thinking this is the worst year because she goes and started dating Usher and I’m going mad. We got a kid," Dallas added. "That’s my girl... So, I went through this whole year thinking it was the worst year of my life when really, I did all the P!nk songs at that time. ‘Just Like a Pill’ and ‘Don’t Let Me Get Me’ was about the relationship I was in. I did Blu Cantrell’s ‘Hit Em Up Style,’ I did Drumline. All of this stuff was going on but I must have had blinders on because I was in such a space that everybody gets to when you break up." Frazer Harrison / Staff / Getty Images Austin said it was "painful" and "crazy," especially because Chilli and Usher's relationship was something that was being played out in the media so he couldn't avoid hearing about it. "People are calling you and telling you they’re in a video," he added. "I didn’t realize I had taken all of that energy and I put it in these records and making Drumline. When that year was over, I was in Atlanta, premiering Drumline with all my kids with me and I thought, ‘Damn, why did I think this was the worst year? This was the best year I ever had.'" 18. When it comes to classic Michael Jordan sneakers, nothing ever comes close to the Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" when it comes to both popularity and stylishness. Over the years, the "Chicago" Air Jordan 1 has received a plethora of retros and unique variations. Every year, it feels like Jordan Brand comes through with a new twist on the "Chicago" offering, and sneakerheads always seem to be eager to cop it. With this in mind, it should come as absolutely no surprise that another "Chicago-"style model is on the horizon. In fact, thanks to the Instagram sneaker insider @zsneakerheadz, we now have some interesting information about a new Air Jordan 1 High OG that has been listed as "white/black/varsity red." Of course, these are the exact same colors used on the Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" although based on the post below, no one actually knows what kind of color blocking will be used here. This means the shoe is a big mystery and we will probably only know more about it in a few months. As for a release timeline, these are expected to come out in the Fall although Jordan Brand will certainly offer some clarity in a few month's time. 19. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have been an undeniable force for three-straight seasons. Their offense has been historically good and it feels like Andy Reid gets all of the credit. However, there is another man who is largely responsible for the team's success and that man is none other than offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. Over the last two years, Bieniemy has been consistently passed over when it comes to head coaching jobs, and fans, as well as the media, are trying to figure out why this is the case. Prior to the Chiefs' AFC Championship Game this weekend, Mahomes was asked about Bieniemy's lack of a head coaching job and as the quarterback noted, it's simply ridiculous. Mark Brown/Getty Images “It’s crazy, would be the best word to describe it,” Mahomes said. “To see the stuff that comes out and then knowing the man that he is and the coach that he is every single day, you don’t understand where the stuff comes from. You understand how great of a coach he is, how great of a person he his, how great of a leader he is. And so, it’s crazy that he hasn’t gotten his chance to become a head coach. But I promise you, he’ll keep grinding and keep getting better and better and keep helping us out — which is a positive at the end of the day. And, hopefully, help us continue to go to these AFC Championship Games and go to more Super Bowls.” If the Chiefs win a Super Bowl this year, then it stands to reason that Bieniemy should get more looks in 2022. Regardless, it's disheartening to see a coach with so much talent, continue to get passed up in favor of head coaches who simply don't have the same experience or achievements. 21. Last night (January 21), the highly anticipated Verzuz battle between Ashanti and Keyshia Cole finally went down. While it was hands down an amazing battle as the singers went hit for hit, many noticed the obvious tension between the two songstresses. Keyshia arrived an hour and a half late to the battle, which may have influenced the overall energy of the Verzuz. One moment, in particular, highlighted the tension that was present in moments throughout the battle. In a clip from the battle last night shared by The Shade Room platform, which has already racked up 2 million views since being shared two hours ago, the tense moment between Ashanti and Keyshia Cole was captured around half-way through the battle. "KC can you hear me?" Ashanti asks in the clip. Keyshia then goes on to say, "I get to start it off." Pausing for a moment, Ashanti reminds the songstress she just started the last round before laughing. "No, no, no, I didn't start, I didn't start let's go into that..." Keyshia insists while trying to play her next song still. Smiling awkwardly, Ashanti corrects her again, confirming with someone offscreen she had just gone with "I Should've Cheated," before reminding her she started first. "That's what I'm about to do, I'm bout to start again," Keyshia continued to insist before Ashanti declared "No you not," while letting out another laugh. Keyshia then reminds her she just ended the last battle so, "whatchu mean I'm not bout to start?" The exchange then gets a little heated when Ashanti and Keyshia go back and forth about which round they were on, with Ashanti being correct about it being her turn. Check out the full exchange below. One commentator assessed the reposted video in the comments writing, "Lmaoooooo they both giving big Libra vibes! KC was definitely drunk and feeling it, loved it." Another added, "Not Ashanti put her in ha place." Despite the tension, the two singers have always maintained there is no drama between them. It is very likely that it might have just been a bad day for one of the singers, just like any of us have. View the full article
  22. Back on January 22nd, 2006, Kobe Bryant scored 81 points in a game against the Toronto Raptors. It was the second-highest scoring performance in NBA history, right behind Wilt Chamberlain who once notched 100 points. Aside from all of the team achievements, Kobe's 81-point game was easily his biggest individual feat while playing in the NBA, and it's a game that will forever be remembered. Today is the 15th anniversary of the big game and many are taking the time to remember it due to the fact that Kobe's passing was almost a full year ago. Of course, Jalen Rose was a member of the Raptors during that game and over the years, he has been ridiculed for allowing Kobe to dominate in such a fashion. While talking on ESPN today, Rose took the jokes in stride, saying he's happy to be a part of history. “When people try to tease me, I say, ‘We held him under a hundred,'” Rose said. “When you go back and watch that game, he wasn’t running around the court doing airplane wings, thumping his chest or pointing at the sky. As a matter of fact, he didn’t say a word.” Rose's words speak on what kind of player Kobe was and how players around the league viewed him. Whenever Kobe stepped on the court, other players showed him an immense amount of respect and despite being double and triple-teamed, Kobe always found a way to make his shots fall. The Mamba Mentality is something that will always be replicated but never fully duplicated. [Via] View the full article
  23. Mario Judah caught a lot of flack earlier today after clips from a recent Instagram Live went viral. Over the course of the last few days, Judah has been complaining of a woman who broke his heart and on the IG Live, he seemingly beat his ex, or at least that's what he wanted people to believe. Well, as it turns out, the whole ordeal was just a ploy for some promo as just minutes ago, Judah released a brand new song called "I Cannot Love You." The track features Judah's signature metal vocals over a trap beat. In the music video, Judah can be seen strangling a body bag, which we can only believe is meant to signify his "dead ex." It's clear that from the very beginning, Judah was trying to tell a story here although the distastefulness of said story has left a lot of people feeling like Judah didn't have to do all of this. Quotable Lyrics: I'm sick of all your lies My love has minimized I can't seem to rely You left me out to dry View the full article
  24. After the deadly events that took place on Jan. 6th on Capitol Hill, hundreds of rioters in attendance of the violent attempted siege have since been arrested by the FBI. In his last days in the Oval Office, Donald Trump prepared a list of presidential pardons as his final act as ruler of the nation. He notably pardoned Kodak Black and Lil Wayne, clearing all the federal charges on their records, in addition to some other big names in hip hop. Not included on the list was Tiger King star Joe Exotic, in addition to the hundreds of Trump supporters facing charges for their role in the Capitol riots. After the violent storming on the hill that left five dead, the legal teams of hundreds of Capitol rioters are preparing their defenses after Trump departed office without pardoning anyone charged in connection to the event. The lawyer of one rioter in particular Jake Angeli, the QAnon follower who was pictured in a viral image wearing horns with no shirt while carrying an American flag, says his client regrets being duped by the president. Win McNamee/Getty Images “The request was of extraordinary value in that it accorded Trump an opportunity to do what his followers believed would have been the ‘honorable’ thing to do,” said the rioter's attorney Al Watkins, according to KMOV4. “Mr. Chansley, along with many others who were similarly situated, are now compelled to reconcile a betrayal by a man whose back they felt they had for years." "He regrets very, very much having not just been duped by the President, but by being in a position where he allowed that duping to put him in a position to make decisions he should not have made," Watkins continued in the interview with a local news station. Win McNamee/Getty Images Angeli is facing federal charges of civil disobedience, obstruction of an official proceeding, disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, and other charges relating to the riot. 25. Charles Barkley has angered a lot of people over the last week due to his take on the COVID-19 vaccine and whether or not basketball players should be able to skip the line. In Barkley's view, NBA players pay more taxes than the average Joe, which means they should get to cut into the front of the line. Upon delivering these comments, Barkley was rightfully criticized as many called his opinion both elitist and divisive. Now, it seems like Kevin Durant is weighing in on the situation and as one would expect, KD is not on Chuck's side. In an Instagram comment captured below, Durant responded to Chuck's initial comments saying "I don't know why they still ask for this idiots opinion." Durant has had his run-ins with Barkley in the past, especially recently when Barkley claimed that Durant has always been a bus rider and never a bus driver. The former NBA player always seems to criticize players as opposed to praising them, which is something he must have learned from Shaq, who always does the same thing on Inside The NBA. Needless to say, Durant isn't a big fan of Chuck and it feels like various other NBA players and fans feel the same way right now. Jason Miller/Getty Images View the full article
