I have an iPod with a radio adapter--it works pretty good but it takes a minute to set up--pain in the ass when I am in a hurry and am trying to get it working while going down the road. A tape adapter thingy would would just as well imho, is simpler, and probably costs a lot less.

When you dismiss an issue it doesn't count at all. To negate your previous decision, you would need to vote differently on it when/if it comes up again. But dismissing an issue is like when a legislature lets a bill die in committee--know one even hears about it and it affects nothing. For instance, to keep CTCistan a psychotic dictatorship, I cannot condone anything. So I have to dismiss all issues that don't have a "just ban whatever it is" choice (which is usually 3 or 4 out 5), and then they just go away and then I get some new issues.

My son is finally coming home this weekend, and it's his 8th birthday on Monday. Very psyched about that. The kids are performing their new dance in FirstWorks Providence tomorrow, and only two more days of work next week til VA-K! Then I can get back to woik on my thesis again--going to finish up my research this summer and write that, and hopefully also get my motorcycle running in the very near future.
