I would guess there is no index/main page and/or no "pages" of any kind in the directory. I'm sure Lycos wouldn't just spit out a list of items in the /jenjade115/ directory so the whole redirect to a search is some sort of error handling for this situation.

Ok...update.

It's coming together like magic, I swear I am so excited!

I have gotten about 100 things for the auction so far. Approximately {sp} $200 donated to her through various funds.

I am setting out the rest of the donation cans tomorrow and putting up flyers.

I got a local radio stations DJ to donate himself for the entertainment.

I'm getting a big ass piece of Canvas or something to make a wall sized get well soon card on for Jade, so I can hang it on her wall at the hospital.

Bake Slae is set for 1-8-2005

I'm trying to get a local tv station to give us a live web feed for the entire benefit so the family can check it out. And possibly vice versa...

So theres my funky list...I'd like to thank everyone again for everything. Jennifer comes over everyday to look at the website and cries everyday over the kind words and words of prayer and hope, you all have no idea what it means to her so THANKS! :bigsmile:

Well my new update: Jennifer was admitted to the hospital on Thursday and got home last night {saturday} Her brain is more or less overflowing with blood....proof that all the blood rushes to womens brains and nowhere else she said The Dr's want her to get surgery NOW but she refused it because of Jades upcoming surgery. Jade was scheduled to just go down to Memphis on the 3rd and then they were going to have to "get her ready" for 2 weeks and then do it. Well I guess the good news is that her blood is slowly thickening {shes a hemopheliac} and so now she'll have surgery Jan 5 :D At the moment she cannot wear anything that is remotely tight around her waist...no seatbelts etc either. Her tummy is very tender so I hope she can feel better VERY soon.

As for Jennifer ...I think she's got to be one of the strongest people I have EVER known or will EVER know. Everyday she gets a migraine and she never misses a beat...her kids are very well taken care of , her home is spotless, she's always in a good mood, and she still wants to come over here and read her webpage or go help me put flyers up etc. She's so awesome. She came home last night and her Fiance had to call me to make her goto bed...she wanted to clean her house

Well anyways....the total is upto 227.94 as of yesterday. Tomorrow and Wednesday I will get ALL the other information out and about...until then, I'm calling MORE PEOPLE!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!

I am sooooo excited right now, but most likely NO WHERE close to how excited Jen is. Jen had her first born stolen from her when she was 2 months old and has not seen her in 9 years.

Well at first they had a Private Detective but after 2 years of paying $300.00 a month and with no return results she had to give up on her search...not that she ever did in her heart but she felt that the little girl was gone forever.{She was stolen by the father}

Anyways Jen JUST called to inform me that our Schools Counsiler has gotten a Private Detective free of charge hired to find this little girl for her....AND she will be going on America's Most Wanted{they will be contacting her in January} So now I am going to start getting the MAJOR networks together to try and help her out. She is speechless at the moment...so I'll try and update as she gets more info!!!!

OMG OMG OMG!

PS. The total is funds that we have raised thus far is now at $540.00 and some change. That's just from people at random giving her money and from the cans I have put out :D

Amber, no updates lately. How are Jennifer and Jade doing?

Yea, The past week and a 1/2 I've been really busy. I run them to the BIG city every other day and the Benefit is next weekend , so I've been kinda absent minded .

Jennifer was suppose to have a gallbladder surgery last friday but it got rescheduled for this friday...her brain is still bleeding slowly and they would like her to get her surgery now but she still refuses because of Jade's health.

Now Jade was suppose to goto Memphis on Monday but her white count is still way too low for the surgery, she wouldn't live period. So now her plasma donor(her stepdad) is taking steroids to help boost the white count. She gets plasma every other day. If it is not boosted any by tomorrow they will most likely admit her into the hospital and then transfer her to Memphis when her count rises. As of right now...they have a White Count Specialist from Houston Medical Center treating her, he specializes in these kinda cases. He also said that instead of taking 1/2 her bladder they were going to remove the "spots" of cancer on her bladder. More or less because it's not penetrated her whole bladder he's thinking why take 1/2 the bladder and make her chances of surviving very small when he can take spots and she has a 75% chance.It all makes sense really...why start large and go small? Rather start small and do more if need be. Jade right now is doing well to just look at her or being in her presense ...she's a 3 yr old girl. She's rowdy and she's playful but she has the days where she is sick ALL day long. It's very confusing .... I used to be a Medic but nothing can brace you for something like this.

I'll know more tomorrow IF we can drive to the city...we've gotten dumped on with snow today and ice last night.

If her count has gone up then they will leave on the 13th or if it goes up greatly b4 that they will leave that day. If it hasn't gone up any she'll be admitted to the hospital immediately.

The whole situation is a shame. However, it seems they are getting first class medical treatment and have at least one friend that is top notch...you. Thanks for the update. I wish them the best.

Well, I just got home from our Bake Sale......HUGE HIT!!!!! We made a total of 286.00 and then I also had a jar off to the side that said "fill the jar. buy Jens dress" and we were able to make 127.00 off that jar. Her "dress" is her wedding dress, she had found one online for $120.00 ...so I just ordered that for her and will surprise her with it soon.

I will post pics as soon as someone gets me some...seing as how my camera is broke, now I have to wait around :(
