starwars.jpgThe final chapter of the "Star Wars" saga has gone over to the internet's dark side.

"Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" has been leaked onto a major file-sharing network just hours after opening in theaters, at a time when Hollywood is increasingly concerned about online piracy.

and over and over and over again (so they have something to do w/their lives). oh, they can collect all the toys. about ten years back i had a BF who was obsessed w/star wars (the only thing wrong w/him). anyway, he had to have /everything/ in the deluded belief he'd have a collection he could sell off one day. we lasted like two weeks.

I saw Revenge of the Sith last night. It was good, the best one since the original 1977 film. The story makes sense if you take the time to fit the pieces together. No question, the original characters are more likable (Harrison Ford as Han Solo, etc.), but Ewan McGregor rose up to do a strong Obi-Wan in Episode III. Hayden Christensen seemed sinister as he gradually sunk into Darth Vader. The Star Wars series is here to stay. People will watch it as long as movies are made.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
