I have got a mutlitude of Valentine's things plus Easter and even a Moon and Stars(my personal love) things, no I have not got to be ancient in years just yet but I learned to crochet from my granny a long while ago and I am addicted to doing it...... some people have even told me that it is a dying art...........so far it it doesn't seem "dying" to me and I have been doing it for a long while.....anyone got any ideas on selling my stuff????? if so let me know :)

my GF made a bunch of boxes (just out of paper) and sold each one on eBay. i'd think crocheted stuff would go down as well.

One of my friends sold stuff on Ebay and she made unique things like underwear, swimsuits,,beanies, shaws, etc...the new hip shit for the kids and sold them around Prom to local Flower Shops, Dress Shops, Salons etc... made alot of money doing it as well. Hell, post it on here, we might like it!

moon: I crochet too! :hyper: Just picked it up again (giving the stained glass a rest for a while). I actually brought it with me today to work ;)

I get bored very easily and I couldn't maintain a website or keep track of the ebay listings...it's just how I am.

DO WHAT I DO!

Have private parties. People love to get together to socialize...get out of the house... get a bit twisted...LAUGH :D People will sponser a party in their homes. You plan a party, go to their house, set up and sell.

So gather your things together, make a list, type it up nice, make cards and drop them in people's mailboxes...find out (when they call) what they like/need the most. All you'll need to do is keep a calendar! (and keep up the crocheting) ;). I find that baby sets (hat, sweater) will go FAST. Someone's always having a baby, needed for a shower gift, etc.

Be prepared to be busy too because you'll probably get orders of the things you run out of [at the party]. GOOD LUCK! :Here's to you:

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
