  1. thanks Dutch, I'll figure it out. I'll tell you later. @ Umma. I looked up yours, but.... I'm 50! This is way to complicated for me.... I will never be able to manage that on my own. It is a WONDERFUL programm, it sure is. But not what I was looking for. Thanks anyway!
  2. Strange that nobody has posted this one yet... Goodnight Saigon The Nylon Curtain Released: 1982 We met as soul mates On Parris Island We left as inmates From an asylum And we were sharp As sharp as knives And we were so gung ho To lay down our lives We came in spastic Like tameless horses We left in plastic As numbered corpses And we learned fast To travel light Our arms were heavy But our bellies were tight We had no home front We had no soft soap They sent us Playboy They gave us Bob Hope We dug in deep And shot on sight And prayed to Jesus Christ With all of our might We had no cameras To shoot the landscape We passed the hash pipe And played our Doors tapes And it was dark So dark at night And we held on to each other Like brother to brother We promised our mothers we'd write And we would all go down together We said we'd all go down together Yes we would all go down together Remember Charlie Remember Baker They left their childhood On every acre And who was wrong? And who was right? It didn't matter in the thick of the fight We held the day In the palm Of our hand They ruled the night And the night Seemed to last as long as six weeks On Parris Island We held the coastline They held the highlands And they were sharp As sharp as knives They heard the hum of our motors They counted the rotors And waited for us to arrive And we would all go down together We said we'd all go down together Yes we would all go down together Billy Joel

  4. long time ago, when you could not download music, I used to buy it! and I tried to get a representative collection, so I did buy an entire album of David Garrick........
  5. I remember it all, so I must be very old. you rememer this? 01._Lady_Jane.mp3
  6. After trying to open the soundclick I got a very nasty set of pop-ups, that I could only stop by using control-alt-delete!!!! do others get this as well?
  7. I try to get rid of the 'BK newbee' qualification, so I will congratulate you as well! :par-taaay:
  8. hihihihi In your country as well? irritating, isn't it? With us it's just a kid's hype - no big hit, only on parties. But when it's in your head...... By the way, I am still courious what te name is of the scouting song. I thought it was performed by the Scaffold, but I cannot find anything like it in teir discography.
  9. that's quite funny In our country there is a song that goes: De Pizza Hut De Pizza Hut Kentucky Fried CHicken en de Pizza Hut MacDonalds MacDonalds Kentucky Fried CHicken en de Pizza Hut These lyricks are on the melodie of an English (scouting?) song which I cannot find. It goes something like Carmamsasa Carmamsasa goody goody goody goody ramsasa caramy caramy goody goody goody goody ramsasa pretty ennoying all together. By the way: If someone knows it, he or she will be awarded: By having this song in his head for DAYS!
  10. Thank you, I'll figure that URL out as soon as I have a few hours left. It goes without saying that I tried to - and succeeded - to manage my own tags. But eJukebox does not use them. It keepes on dragging info from the internet. We seem to have no influence on that at all!! There are nice things about it. We get all kinds of really nice CD covers on the screen, other than our own. But the disadvantages are far more..... But I will soon take a closer look at the url you suggested.
  11. I can not find a specific topic to put this, and I think that there must be someone who can help me here. We use 'eJukebox 3.71' for playing our music. This program uses a Internet D-Base to display on the screen what you hear. It makes many mistakes Byrds; the Byrds, Birds, the Birds - so you never have all songs of one artist together. On top of that it makes even worse mistakes: a single, Jumping Jack Flash by the Stones has suddenly changed in Nitzer Ebb, I Give To You (only on the display). I am looking for a program that can shuffle RANDOM (eJukebox uses your old playlists to pick out the shuffle-tracks) and that uses MY OWN d-base. Do you know such a program?
  12. Nice, thank you. I am still trying to find all the edges here. It lookes quit nice!
  13. Thanks, we do have a technical good recorded studio version as well! But I hope that he does not need it soon.........
  14. We have a video tape of the first rock concert in Monterey. It includes White Rabbit and Today* It is sad that the recording qality of some artist is not quite well. At those days they did not have have the technical possibilities we have now. My husband always prommisses me he will play 'Today' at my funeral...... :kissy face:
  15. My husband and I once drove home, and as we were almost there The Man started to sing 'Its All Over Now, Baby Blue' on the radio We looked at one another, I took a 'wrong' turn and we drove around in cirkles, when the song was over, we went home...... One does NOT turn the car key during such a magnificent peace of work!
