I do have rather foolish neighbours. The man is our former babysit, used to be a nice guy until at 21 he was reborn as a Christian (is that correct in English? - it is what they call it here - they even have themselfves rebaptised and for that occassion they go totaly under the watersurface!!) But it is his wife that makes all the noice: She cannot handle kids, and she has two. She screems, she shouts, bangs the doors and the few times she is not mad, she sings gospels..... But we try to get on with them, you have to LIVE besides them....... :whiteflag: I never have the music loud, I am so deaf that I can only hear it right by using a good headset. But I know they do NOT like us growing hemp in the garden, (just harvested two plants yesterday :smokin: - one is left but it carries NO buds - we have enough untill next year, though) and they also do NOT like us taking a sun bad naked or blowing outside in a spot were they can smell it. We do not always consider their wishes, however! :reallymad:

I always wonder why people, of which some I really admire, can believe in a thing like a god, anyway. Why some of them change their religion makes me even wonder more! But I cannot believe that - unless someone had a stroke, or another brain damage - somebody can change completely! CS or YI has written so many peace songs..... He - of all people - should see what happens all over the world! That all kind of idiots, from whom a lot have recently turned to the islam, like he did, are doing all kinds of evil deeds under the flag of this religion...

Recently we got information that makes me grin a little: :P Those two men that were cought after a 14 hour operation in the Hague, appear to be no maroque people at all: One of them has only the Dutch nationality and the other one has one parent from Holland and one from the USA. From him we know that he has turned to the islam recently. For one reason or another I am pleased, (it istoo early in the morning to think clear.) I hated the idea that it were Maroque people, because they already are disciminated as it is now. I hope that knowing this, makes 'my?' people stop setting mosques on fire..... Hey Method, you forgot to mention something very possitive: Belgium forbidded the extreem-right party: 'Vlaams Blok', this week! Please, let us not forget: No one had the opportunity to chose their own cradle!

Thank you all. After what has happened yesterday, the holdup of two terrorists (they say but it is not jet confirmed) by hundreds of policemen and parts of the army and so on, it seems quiet....... I hope everybody is shocked and stops now.... but it is way to early to tell.

It is a pitty you do not read Dutch, Method. You should read the forums!!!!! Holland is no longer what is was. It is 'we' against 'them'. No longer open minds.... Polls have been held and it seems that 40% of the Dutch hopes that moslims do no longer feel themselves welcome in the Netherlands. I hope I make myself clear: it is not the few islamitic idiots that scare me, it is the large group of Dutch idiots that make me freightened. And every new happening makes the controversions larger and more vicious. I thank you for your optimistic words, but I fear that before things calm down, a lot of unpleasant things happen.

At this moment things seem to get out of controll! One week ago some extreem islamitic idiot killed TV-personality, who was famous for the many times he offended the moslims. Thereafter several mosques and islamitic schools were set on fire, which was answered by setting 4 christian churches in flames. And at this moment something very freightening is happening in The Hague, knowbody seems to know exactly what. There has been an explosion, 3 policemen were hurt, the aerea is closed, as well as the sky above The Hague, there are no planes allowed...... This is leading streight to a civil war and I am very scared! Everybody seems to hate one another! I do not want to join them and I do not know what I could do about that! Somebody has to call a halt to this!

Yes, I know. But there are a lot of white people now who do not blame the murderer, they blame the whole islam and the whole Maroc community. THAT is what makes me scared! And please, do not forget, we DO have freedom of speech but we also have laws against discrimination. The things TvG said made him GUILTY against that law! (again I do not know the right words - please try to understand what I mean..) In this - in MY country - nobody seems to care wheather you live by the laws or not. No-one ever accused TVG of discrimination, not in a way that he had to go to court anyway. In this (my) country everyone thinks that it all must be possible! I mean - if you say what he said ON THE STEET - you get punnished, and when you say it on TV - people either laugh of turn to another station..... Now you see what that brings! Somebody compared it with teasing a Pitbull....... You do not do that when your mind is healty because you KNOW that once it will bite you. TvG did something far more dangarous, he could have known he got killed, because there are idiots in EVERY group of people. And a lot of dutch people forget that TvG was killed by ONE idiot, not by the Maroc people and not by the whole Islam community!

This is why I did not show up here, I was too bussy on Dutch forums. Theo van Gogh was more than you know. He was a man who offended, hurted en shocked people. I a very bad way! He opened his mouth way too far, hated the jews and the moslims as well, he called al moslims goat-fuckers and that was even one of the kindest things he said. One of his jokes was: it smells like caramel today I think they burn the jews with diabetes..... I personally think that freedom of speech is too valuable to treat it this way, I think that it still gives you no right to offend people or to hurt them. I think that it takes a lot of responsability to handle that freedom. Of course I do NOT approve of this killing! But this man has only himself to blame. And thanks to what has happened, my country now is turning in to a country in which people stand up against one another. It freightens me very much.

You look it up yourself! I will help a little: leave the 'je' away. In English you need a special word: 'little', we just put 'je' (or sometimes 'tje' - when that sounds better) behind a word when something is small or..... ;) when we like it.....
