  1. New York Knicks fans have November 14 circled on their calendars, as that marks the date that Kristaps Porzingis will make his return to Madison Square Garden for the first time since he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Assuming Porzingis is still healthy, he will have a target on his back and the new-look Knicks will want to appease their rabid fanbase by doing anything they can to spoil his return. Knowing how much Knicks fans disdain KP, rookie guard RJ Barrett recently named Porzingis as the one guy that he wants to posterize the most. Earlier this week, The Unicorn was questioned about Barrett's tongue-in-cheek comments and he welcomed the challenge. “That’s fine. I’m a shot-blocker. I don’t know what some people were saying. I’m one of the best shot-blockers in the league and I’m always up for the challenge,” Porzingis told reporters. “I think that’s a pretty good goal for [Barrett] to try to dunk on me. That would be cool. I respect that.” Porzingis missed all of last season as he recovered from his ACL injury, but he did average 2.4 blocks per game in his 48 appearance in the 2017-18 season. The Mavericks will open the season on at home on October 23 as they host the Washington Wizards. Meanwhile, the New York Knicks kick off their season with a pair of road games, including at San Antonio on October 23 and at Brooklyn on October 25. View the full article
  2. Travis Scott has been everywhere over the past year and his forays into music aren't the only thing keeping him occupied. La Flame has proven himself to be a more than capable sneaker designer as he has released collaborations with both Nike and Jordan Brand. Next Saturday, Scott is supposed to be dropping his Air Jordan 6 "Olive" sneaker which seems to have drawn the attention of sneakerheads everywhere. One of the other releases that has fans salivating is this "Cactus Jack" Nike Air Force 1 Low which features a plethora of colors and materials. The shoe looks incredible so far and in this latest video from @retroshoparis, we get to see all of the materials up close and personal. You can see leather, suede, corduroy and many other materials being represented here. It's an overall great look that will surely have sneakerheads excited as the release date approaches. For now, these are slated to drop in November for $160 USD although there is no concrete release date. Stay tuned for updates as we will be sure to bring them to you. View the full article
  3. By now, you'd be wise to keep an eye on Peewee Longway, the Blue M&M connoisseur representing Atlanta. Likewise for his partner in crime Money Man, with whom he united to deliver a full-length project in Long Money. Despite their prolific nature on the solo front, both parties have brought their A-game on this go-around, culminating in a staggering twenty-song collection. Should you be a returning fan, you'll likely find much to enjoy here, from the guitar-driven Money Man banger "Alien" to the laid-back vibes of "So Cold." Lyrically, the debauchery runs appropriately high, though it's always tempered by an inherent sense of menace. Both parties are battle-tested, and thus, there is an aura of authenticity within their words. Anyone partial to music for the streets, by the streets, will likely enjoy Long Money. Perhaps its time to add the title of "financial advisor" to their respective resumes. What do you think of this one? View the full article
  4. Getting a coveted co-sign from Drake, Ambjaay is on track to make a lot of money off of his hit single "Uno." While he tried to follow up on his success with "Ice Cream," his breakout remains his most-popular single to date. Popping off across the country, "Uno" was one of the hottest songs of the summer, banging in the clubs and serving as a fun, light-hearted cut for when you're racing down the freeway. We've been hearing a few artists give their take on the song and now, the official remix is out with additions from Tyga, Lil Pump, and even a new verse from Ambjaay. A video of Lil Pump rapping in Spanish had all of his fans shook and it turns out that it was for this remix all along. Out now, the rework of "Uno" starts off with Pump giving his rendition of the infectious hook before heading into a primarily-Spanish section. Ambjaay then comes in for the original chorus before T-Raw jumps in with some raunchy bars. It's insane to think that three rappers fit on a song that's under two-minutes-long but, here we are. What do you think of the remix? Quotable Lyrics: T-Raw and I'm all about dinero And I like the pussy sweet like a churro Told that bitch I don't drive a Camaro Got a big ego, I need a sombrero Shake that ass, you a bop, make it go, don't stop Slurp me up, outside of In-N-Out parking lot View the full article
  5. For years now, Kanye West and Mike Dean have built a solid working relationship. The artists that are close to Ye, including Travis Scott and all of the G.O.O.D. Music squad, work with the legendary engineer to achieve the perfect sounds in their mixes, masters, and production. Mike Dean knows how to do it all and, usually, he's a pretty solid troll too. Throughout the last few Kanye album rollouts, Dean has been an integral part of us knowing what's actually going on. Now that Jesus Is King has been indefinitely delayed, nobody really knows when we can expect the album. Ye's team is apparently still working on it, putting the final touches on the gospel-tinged project before sending it to streaming. In one of the latest updates though, Mike Dean hints that it could be a very, very, very long time before we actually hear it. Johnny Nunez/WireImage/Getty Images As reported by RapCurrent, Mike Dean took to his SnapChat account to provide a very cruel update on the progress they've made since last week, noting that Jesus Is King is far from being ready. "Just deleted jik accidentally whilst mixing lol. Fuck yall," he wrote as his caption, smoking a joint in the footage. Now, Mike Dean is clearly joking about this (or is he???) so we shouldn't be too worried. Hopefully, Jesus Is King arrives sooner rather than later. If it's not ready though, we'll just have to be patient! Screenshot via RapCurrent View the full article
  6. Hell hath no fury like a Guwop scorned. Though married life has been kind to the affable East Atlanta legend, every so often we're reminded of the Old Gucci Mane, to put it bluntly. True, he's rebranded himself closer to wholesome these days, but lest we forget that this man once penned "Truth." Perhaps the powers behind The Breakfast Club forgot about that when they opted to slam him with the ban-hammer, thanks to a notorious interview from the BC archives. In case you missed it, the offense occurred when Gucci insinuated that Angela Yee had previously pined for him, going so far as to inquire after coordinates. Clearly, something might have ruffled Gucci's feathers as he took to IG to remind the masses about the exchange. Angela Yee, who at the time denied the claims, claimed he was "back on the drugs." Yet The Breakfast Club has oft-embraced the madness and this was no exception. Today, the Radio Show took to Twitter to capitalize on the feud, posting a poll gauging whether Gucci or Angela was speaking true. Sadly for Yee's honor, the masses stood damn-near unanimously behind big Guwop. Yet the poll itself seemed a bridge too far, and Gucci Mane let fly a merciless diss at their expense. "Punk Ass Whores," he brands the lot of them, laughing all the while. Old Gucci would be proud. View the full article
