  1. Sneakerheads who love the Air Jordan 1 High OG have been very spoiled over the last few years. Every year, Jordan Brand comes through with a plethora of new Air Jordan 1 colorways that excite fans and lead to new trends. While AJ1 colorways have been a little bit more spread out this year, Jumpman has some heat planned for the summer. One of the colorways that we have been teasing is the Air Jordan 1 High "Light Smoke Grey" which combines some familiar colors. Thanks to @repgod888, we now have some on-foot images of the shoe that give us a better idea of how these will look with an outfit. As you can see, the shoe has a white leather base while grey nubuck overlays are placed on top. From there, the Nike swoosh is black all while the cuff is red. This mix of colors is something we have seen before but the color blocking is certainly unique. Overall, it's yet another dope Air Jordan 1 that will please the die-hard Jumpman fans out there. If you're looking to cop these, you can expect them to drop on July 11th for $170 USD. Let us know in the comments below what you think of this new colorway. View the full article
  2. Ezra Miller is currently under fire after a viral video began to circulate this weekend, showing him allegedly placing his hand around a woman's throat and slamming her to the ground. The actor is seen in a video, which was reportedly filmed in Reykjavik, Iceland on April 1, choking a woman and throwing her to the floor. While this was originally believed to have been a joke, Variety has confirmed that it was part of a serious altercation at a bar. Michael Loccisano/Getty Images "Oh, you wanna fight? That’s what you wanna do?" asks Miller to a young woman who smiles and jokingly prepares to fight. The Flash star then grabs the woman by the throat and pushes her to the ground before the video ends. The man filming the clip intervenes before stopping the shot. The incident reportedly took place at a bar called Prikið Kaffihús. A group of young fans had apparently been "pushy" with the film star, which ended in him getting frustrated and acting out of pocket. He was then escorted off the premises. Ezra Miller has not commented on the situation as of this publication. Watch the video below. We will keep you updated as further developments occur. Do you think Miller should be punished for this? 3. We have witnessed the rise of Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson as a television tycoon, producing several shows that have piqued the public's interest and become staples in our homes. From Power to For Life, Jackson has proven that he has the chops to make it as a big-time television producer. For the last year, he has been teasing his latest show about BMF, short for Black Mafia Family. The drug trafficking and money laundering organization run by Big Meech and Southwest T has somehow avoided television for this long but, soon, 50 Cent will be bringing their story to the small screen. "Green light lets go," wrote 50 Cent on Instagram, announcing that the series has officially been picked up by Starz. "I'm working work with me or just watch me win." Amanda Edwards/Getty Images Curtis Jackson signed a multi-series deal with Starz a couple of years ago, and his vision appears to finally be expanding with this news. As reported by Variety, Black Mafia Family is set to follow up Power and the four spin-offs scheduled to also premiere on Starz. "This is a project Curtis has always been incredibly passionate about and we are excited to have him as our partner in bringing it to life," says Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch. "’Black Mafia Family’ has all the hallmarks of a great drama, from the larger-than-life Flenory brothers to the deadly, high-stakes world they inhabited. This series is going to be an incredible ride for audiences around the world." 50 Cent is excited to bring the story of Big Meech and Southwest T to television. Will you be watching? 4. Kanye West's Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 has dominated sneaker culture over the last few years and as we dive deeper into 2020, this continues to be the case. Kanye always has new colorways on the horizon and one of the ones that have been teased quite a bit over the last few weeks is the "Zyon" offering. Thanks to @regod888, we now have some official images of the shoe that will certainly leave you satisfied with what is to come in the next few months. As you can see from the on-foot images below, the sneaker has a white base while brown stitching is overlayed on top. From there, a black stripe is placed on the side for some added contrast. Aside from the Bred and Triple-Black models, this is the first 350 V2 to have a black stripe. There is also a gum bottom which further adds to the unique aesthetic of the shoe. Overall, this model is a lot different from what we have seen in the past when it comes to the 350 V2. Over the course of the next few months, we will be seeing even more peculiar offerings and we can't wait to show them to you. In the meantime, you can expect these to drop sometime in the Summer. 10. The past twenty-four hours have been filled with nothing but drama for NBA Youngboy. The rapper was caught in the middle of an altercation between the mother of his child and his girlfriend/fiancee, Yaya Mayweather. However, even then, the rapper still finds ways to keep his fans satisfied, especially in the middle of the current social drought we're all in. Teaming up with Cole Bennett, the rapper released the visuals for his brand new single, "AI Nash." A cold banger, Youngboy Never Broke Again flexes on the opps as he compares having an array of women to Steve Nash's jersey number. Youngboy Never Broke Again has been blessing the streets with new music even after the release of his February project, Still Flexin, Still Steppin. Peep the new single below. 11. Kodak Black is furthering his beef with NBA YoungBoy by asserting that YoungBoy tries to act just like him. It's been a busy weekend for these two rappers, ever since YoungBoy's self-proclaimed "wife" Iyanna Mayweather was arrested for her alleged involvement in the stabbing of a woman over YoungBoy himself. The woman, Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, who is reportedly the mother of YB's child, has had to undergo emergency surgery due to her double stab wounds, but Iyanna appeared to be unbothered by the whole incident. She was released from police custody and headed back to YB's house later that same day, sound asleep when YB woke her up to address the situation on Instagram live. YB was aggravated, but not because his alleged baby mother had been stabbed—no, he was fuming at Kodak Black. Kodak, who is currently behind bars but often finds time to hop on social media to stir the pot, took to Instagram to clown YB for "fully cooperating" with authorities following the stabbing, insinuating that YB had snitched. It was later clarified that "fully cooperating" only means YB allowed the police to investigate the situation without interference. YB clapped back at Kodak for running his mouth, denying any kind of snitching and bringing up Iyanna's famous father, Floyd Mayweather, to clarify that he never took a dime from "her b*tch ass daddy." Sources pointed out that Kodak seems to have inserted himself into this chaos in the first place because he and YB both dated the same girl in the past. Now, Kodak has retaliated at YB, claiming that YB copies his every move and accusing him of having his manager "back track" to shift the "snitching" angle in the media. In the post, Kodak included photo and video "evidence" of YB copying his hand symbols, sound, flow, and dance moves. "You My Youngest Boy, You Really Wanna Be Like Me Jit Da Proof Is In Da Pudding," he wrote. "I Love U Tho Son-Son I Think About U Everyday..I Like How Ya Manager Dem BackTrack To Fix Da Snitching Shit On The Blogs Doe Kuz Dat Cooperation Shit Make Da FAM Look Bad But It’s Ok Son-Son Daddy Ain’t Mad At U, It Ain’t Nothing." 12. Kiana Ledé recently released her new project, KIKI. She's emerging as the next big star in R&B and she's shown pop sensibilities with each one of her releases in the past. KIKI is her biggest project to date, stacked with guest appearances from 6lack, Ari Lennox, Lucky Daye, and more. However, one collaboration that was particularly surprising is "Labels." Flipping a classic sample from Biggie Small's "Juicy," and even paying homage to the track on the hook, Ledé enlists Moneybagg Yo and Bia to bring some nostalgia on the single, "Labels." Kiana leads the way detailing a failed relationship but Moneybagg Yo and Bia deliver some super player vibes to balance it all out. Did she do Biggie justice with the sample? Check out the song below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments. 14. Will Smith and his family are cooking up new ways to lighten the mood during the coronavirus pandemic. Will Smith, who is no stranger to the media, has launched a new 12-part Snapchat original series, Will From Home. The series first kicked off Friday morning showing the actor comfortably hanging out in his garage. Appearances will be made by Smith’s family, celebrities such as Tyra Banks, and even non-celebrity guests who are practicing social distancing. Jon Kopaloff/Getty Images Sean Mills, who is head of Snapchat’s original content, told The Hollywood Reporter that the idea for the show developed from conversations that were held between Snapchat and Smith’s production company, Westbrook Media. “Will was feeling a lot of pent up creative energy and was excited to do something with it in a new and different way,” Mills said. Mills expressed how the public is looking for more things that are positive and uplifting right now, not necessarily escaping the pandemic but what good things can come from such a challenging moment for all people. Mills feels as if Will From Home fits the bill perfectly. Produced by Westbrook Media, new episodes of Will From Home will stream Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Will you be watching? 15. Tekashi 6ix9ine is officially a free man. The rapper was released from prison earlier this week after a judge approved of a compassionate release. This has been met with both negative and positive reactions -- hip-hop has disowned the rapper for cooperating with the feds while others are ecstatic that he'd be back on social media to entertain the masses as everyone practices social distancing. Bob Levey/Getty Images There has, however, been discussion whether there would be a social media ban after he was released to complete the remainder of his sentence on home confinement. Nothing in his papers stated that he would be restricted from using social media and it appears that he's already back on IG. TheShadeRoom recently reported on the mayor of Los Angeles' offering snitches rewards for reporting businesses violating the city's stay-at-home order. Fully self-aware of the stigma that surrounds snitching, it appears that he's embraced it and, as he would put it, is letting his nuts hang. The rapper simply slid into the comments, writing, "Coming to the rescue." With 6ix9ine's recent release from prison, it appears that he's already back in his trolling ways. His lawyer previously revealed that the rapper is plotting on the release of two new albums. One album being entirely sung in Spanish while the other will be hip-hop. Either way, it appears that he's already marked his return to the 'Gram. View the full article
  16. "Tiger King" star Bhagavan “Doc” Antle and Britney Spears go way back, didn't you know? It was recently discovered that the professional animal trainer and stars of the wildly popular Netflix docu-series, Tiger King: Murder, Madness, and Mayhem, was actually onstage during Britney's iconic performance of her hit song, "I'm A Slave 4 U," at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. Although the performance is most memorable for the moment in which Britney has a Burmese python draped over her shoulders while she struts around on stage, there was also a live tiger involved, which was handled by Doc himself. The performance begins with a young Brit locked in a cage with the tiger before she breaks out onto the stage, and Doc can be seen in the background controlling the wild animal for the most of the performance. “She was such a darling, totally just a fanatic person wanting a perfect performance,” Doc said about the then-19-year-old Britney. “We were there for several days rehearsing so that the tigers would be relaxed and happy to be out there and that everything could be smooth and taken care of as best as possible. She was there rehearsing and working—just the hardest working, sweetest young girl, out there making all the pieces click together.” Scott Gries/ImageDirect/Getty Images “I have total confidence in that tiger. I knew him since he was a baby,” he continued. “He’s about seven years old right there [and at the] peak of his game. A super macho, aggressive male tiger. That’s the tiger that you go somewhere like that with because he cares less about the fireworks, the gas explosions, the banging music. He’s totally concerned with just holding his own and being cool.” Jonathan Wiggs/The Boston Globe via Getty Images The Institute for Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (T.I.G.E.R.S.) founder and Myrtle Beach Safari owner says Britney's always welcome to visit the park, but he realizes that she may not be too keen on it right in the midst of all the drama surrounding the series. “Brit knows who we are and where we are,” he said. “Right now, I’m sure with the Hollywood vibe, she’d be afraid that it’s on fire with all of this crazy salacious, insanity that has been made into Tiger King.” [Via] View the full article

  18. Wendy Williams announced that her daytime talk show will resume filming soon, but will instead be taped from her home rather than the studio due to social distancing measures implemented as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. As the spread of COVID-19 has caused productions all across the United States to shut down, many talk show hosts have taken to shooting their programs from the comfort of their own homes, in an effort to continue practicing social distancing while keeping up appearances. Initially, prior to the escalation of the pandemic, talk shows were taping without studio audiences, including The Wendy Williams Show. However, after admitting that she was willing to "risk it" in order to continue filming in the studio, Wendy's show was postponed indefinitely last month. Now, Wendy has shared that she will resume filming her show from home in New York City. Astrid Stawiarz/Getty Images for SiriusXM “I may not be in my purple chair," Wendy said in a statement, "and it may not look the same, but I’m very excited to get back to my Wendy Watchers…there’s so much uncertainty in all of our worlds right now and we need each other!” New episodes will begin airing on Monday, April 6th, with combined footage of Wendy's at-home segments as well as some unused clips from before the show stopped production. 19. Though we're all on lockdown, Instagram has been supplying an endless amount of entertainment over the past few weeks. Instagram Live has spawned some wild moments from Boosie Badazz' livestreams to Tory Lanez' Quarantine Radio but for people who simply wanted music, there have been several beat and song battles that have taken place. Last night, T-Pain and Lil Jon went head-to-head while producers like Boi-1da and Hit-Boy have gone song-for-song, proving who has the better catalog. Ethan Miller/Getty Images Tonight, old school fans were supposed to be getting a treat when the legends Teddy Riley and Babyface were supposed to hop on Instagram Live. Unfortunately, Swizz Beatz, who has been putting in work behind the scenes, shared the unfortunate news that it would be postponed to a later date that has yet to be announced. The producer shared a statement revealing that they'll be making it bigger and better in respect to the two kings who paved the way for generations to come. "The date is changed but keep your outfits on deck because the new date is coming back ASAP and we’re taking the quality to the next levels for these 2 Kings #VERZUZ !!!!!!! @timbaland let’s go !!!! You will understand later trust me!!!!! Nobody backed out FYI !!!" Swizz captioned it. We'll keep you posted on the new date. Keep your eyes peeled for that and the female edition of VERZUZ. 20. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has issued an executive order that reopens the state's beaches, in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, sparking backlash. Buda Mendes / Getty Images "The Governor’s Executive Order suspends the enforcement of any local ordinance or order adopted or issued since March 1, 2020, that relates to COVID-19," Josh Hildebrandt, director of public and governmental affairs for DNR, said in a statement, according to The Hill. "This Executive Order thus lifted any local ordinances or orders that had closed or restricted access to Georgia beaches. “People who voluntarily leave their shelters to go to our beaches can only do so for the purpose of outdoor exercise,” he continued. State government still strongly encourages everyone to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Tybee Island mayor Shirley Sessions is vehemently opposed to the Governor's decision and explained why in a public statement. "As the Pentagon ordered 100,000 body bags to store the corpses of Americans killed by the Coronavirus, Governor Brian Kemp dictated that Georgia beaches must reopen, and declared any decision makers who refused to follow these orders would face prison and/or fines," she wrote. "While the beaches have to reopen under the Governor’s order, Tybee will not have beach access and parking lots will remain closed until further notice. It should also be noted that Tybee currently is not properly staffed with Emergency Medical Services and there are no life guards in place." [Via] View the full article
  21. The REFORM Alliance, a criminal justice reform organization partnered by Jay-Z and Meek Mill, is sending 100,000 masks to correctional facilities across the U.S. Nicholas Hunt / Getty Images "It's a very vulnerable population," chief advocacy officer at REFORM Jessica Jackson told CBS News. "We're really worried about the number of people coming in and out of the facility, and the fact that the people living there might be sitting ducks during this pandemic." Prisons, especially in New York City, are at great risk to the coronavirus. 231 inmates and 223 staff members at New York City jails have tested positive for COVID-19, as of Thursday. Jackson says officials in New York City and Tennessee are interested in helping inmates but lack the supplies to do so. "Overwhelmingly the response was, 'please provide the masks, we really need them.' They want to protect the people working and living in the facilities," Jackson said. "I think Rikers Island especially, they are very aware the virus has hit and so many lives are now at risk." "We're still looking at jail and prison populations that are completely overcrowded to dangerous levels when you're looking at a pandemic like this head-on," she added. "This is a movement, but we need all of the voices we can get." Many prisons are releasing inmates to combat overcrowding issues. You can read more about the issue on The REFORM Alliance's website. 22. Call Me by Your Name director Luca Guadagnino says both Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer will reprise their roles as Oliver and Elio for a sequel to the 2017 film. Joe Scarnici / Getty Images Guadagnino told the Italian publication la Repubblica that the film had started production before the COVID-19 outbreak but is now on hold. "Before coronavirus, I made a trip to the United States to meet a screenwriter I love very much, whose name I don’t want to say, to talk about the second part. Unfortunately, we had to put it on hold," he said. "Of course, it was a great pleasure to work with Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer, Michael Stuhlbarg, Esther Garrel and the other actors. Everyone will be in the new movie." The film will likely be based on Find Me, the sequel to the book that Call Me By Your Name is based on. Find Me, written by André Aciman, was released in 2019. Call Me By Your Name won the 2017 Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and was nominated for a number of other awards. Chalamet will appear in Wes Anderson’s upcoming film, The French Dispatch, which has been delayed until October. He is also in talks to star as Bob Dylan in an upcoming biopic. 23. Joe Rogan is trending on Twitter following a podcast with Eric Weinstein, where Rogan remarks that he'd rather vote for Donald Trump than Joe Biden. Alex Trautwig / Getty Images “I’d rather vote for Trump than [Biden],” says Rogan. “I don’t think [Biden] can handle anything. You’re relying entirely on his cabinet. If you want to talk about an individual leader who can communicate, he can’t do that. And we don’t know what the fuck he’ll be like after a year in office. “The pressure of being president of the United States is something that no one has ever prepared for. The only one who seems to be fine with it is Trump, oddly enough.” Throughout the segment, Rogan and Weinstein speak about Biden's problematic mental health, which seems to be deteriorating as this campaign goes on. Many Dem-alignment Twitter users are using Rogan's quote to further the mainstream narrative that he's a conservative, while others are opining that Rogan is the exact type of swing-voter that the Dems need to win over, rather than alienate. Rogan found himself trending for political reasons earlier this year when he endorsed Bernie Sanders for president. Traditional Dems labeled Rogan a bigot in response. Check out some of the reaction on Twitter below. View the full article
  24. Uber is pledging 10 million free rides and deliveries of food to healthcare workers, seniors, and others in need. Peter Summers / Getty Images The company announced the decision on its website. "Uber Health is providing free transportation for frontline healthcare workers, helping them get to and from patients’ homes, as well as between healthcare facilities... We’re providing free meals on Uber Eats to first responders and healthcare workers in US and Canada, in coordination with local, state, and provincial governments." The company will also be transporting goods with Uber Freight: "While the federal government's emergency declaration is in place, shipments of critical goods in the US will be transported with zero profit pricing by Uber Freight," the website reads The delivery fee for orders completed through Uber Eats has been removed for restaurants across the US and Canada. A spokesperson says Uber is “working to distribute these meals and rides at scale in the coming months and tailor the offering based on the most pressing, local needs,” a spokesperson said. “And we’re covering the costs associated with delivering food, meals and rides: including free Eats meals, the cost of the ride or delivery of food from a food bank, payments to the drivers and couriers, etc.” [Via] View the full article
  25. One of the businesses hit hardest by the COVID-19 outbreak is the concert industry. Without the ability to gather in large groups, effectively all concerts have been canceled. A new study from Pollstar shows that loses could reach upwards of $9 billion for the concert industry if things don't return to normal, fast. Alexandre Schneider / Getty Images “Estimating what might have been lost obviously depends on when the business rebounds,” the study reads, “but if the rest of the year is dark – which is a worst-case scenario and certainly not expected – the potential $12.2 billion yearly estimate minus the grosses from all the shows completed before cancellations and postponements places potential losses for the remainder of the year right at $8.9 billion.” Total losses could be “much less, about $2.3 billion, if touring is possible as early as late-May,” the study continues. “And if quarantines continue through the summer, say, late-August, industry losses could total about $5.2 billion in just missed ticket sales alone.” As of now, there is no definite answer as to when the world will return to business as usual. President Trump hopes by the end of April, while other suggest this could go on for as long as a year. Either way, the concert industry will struggle throughout. [Via] View the full article
