  1. In true Taco Tuesday fashion, Taco Bell is offering free Doritos Locos Tacos at the drive-thru today. That's right... completely free! If you've been feeling down about this crazy world that we live in, consider spicing up your diet courtesy of Taco Bell. We can all use a cheat day every once in a while and, now that you'll likely have no chance to show off that summer body you worked so hard for (welp), it's a good excuse to get some junk food in your belly. Joshua Blanchard/Getty Images Taco Bell knows we've been having a hard time during quarantine and they're making sure we all eat good on Taco Tuesday. If you're useless in the kitchen, you can still celebrate LeBron James' favorite day of the week by taking the car to your local Taco Bell (with hand sanitizer and a mask, of course) and order some Doritos Locos Tacos for no cost at all. The restaurant chain announced that, on April 7, they would be giving away free Doritos Locos Tacos all day in the drive-thru. Of course, that one provision is due to the current state of the world. Nobody likes to eat inside of Taco Bell anyways tbh... Will you be redeeming this offer for dinner tonight? View the full article
  2. One of the most underrated Air Jordan silhouettes of all time is the 13. It released all the way back in 1998 and one of the OG colorways that defined the shoe is the "Flint." This model has a white base with blue overlays on the sides. These overlays had 3M material baked in which allowed for some interesting aesthetics depending on the lighting conditions. The shoe has been retroed in the past but not with all of the OG details such as the aforementioned 3M. In 2020, Jordan Brand is looking to change that as they are releasing the "Flint" 13 in all of its OG glory. We have posted numerous teasers and release dates over the last little while although now, we have some new information courtesy of @zsneakerheadz. According to the Instagram sneaker account, the shoe will be dropping in sizes for the whole family, including adult, grade school, preschool, and toddler. They will each cost $190, $140, $80, and $60 USD, respectively. If you're a fan of this shoe, you will now be able to lace up the whole family. These are supposed to drop on May 30th although this could be delayed depending on the Coronavirus situation. Stay tuned for updates as we will be sure to bring them to you. View the full article
  3. At the top of last year, Tory Lanez got people thinking after he referred to himself as the best rapper alive on Twitter. As it pertains to that topic, the Toronto native isn't usually involved in the conversation of the all-time greats. Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, and others generally place higher than Tory Lanez on that list. That's no knock on Tory either. The man is insanely talented. He is definitely one of the best rappers alive but, to refer to himself as the best was a head-scratcher. Despite the tweet being sent out over a year ago, the recording artist issued an apology (or did he?) earlier today. In post-and-delete fashion, Tory Lanez apologized for previously calling himself the greatest rapper alive. So, technically, does the apology count? "Lol yo I'm sorry for the time I said 'Im the best rapper alive' .. even if I feel that way about myself. It's a dumbass statement," said Tory on Twitter. And even though I'm always ready to stand behind my talent, it made me look like a dick head. And I'm truly not that. So yeah. My bad lmao." The post has since been deleted. In other Tory Lanez-related news, the star is currently live on his ultra-popular Quarantine Radio series. He is sure to preview some new music from his upcoming project The New Toronto 3, which releases this week. [via] View the full article
  4. Last year, Future made a solid impression with The WIZRD, one of the strongest albums we've seen from him in a minute. Yet since its release, it would appear that the Atlanta rapper has managed to find love, filling his dark soul with light and a new lease on life to boot. As such, Future has opted to let art imitate life, revealing to XXL that his upcoming eighth studio album would be titled Life Is Good. Roy Rochlin/2018 Getty Images With XXL's Spring 2020 Future-centric issue hitting stores today, not that anybody is able to go buy a physical copy right now, it stands to reason that we're looking at an imminent release -- barring any coronavirus-related delays, of course. And while the bulk of the details lie within the magazine itself, the write-up does signify that Future has been feeling a notable sense of inner peace, which might signal a thematic direction for the upcoming project. Given that many have come to appreciate the tragic figure that is Sad Future, it's unclear as to how the game might willingly receive a Happy variant. Especially after both The WIZRD and Save Me seemed to point to a man deep in the throes of personal darkness. Still, the Drake-assisted "Life Is Good" has already set an interesting tone, proof that Future can celebrate his accomplishments without sacrificing his signature sonic qualities. Are you excited to see a new album from Future? [via] View the full article
  5. Kevin Garnett is a legend of basketball and his contributions to the game will forever be immortalized in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Garnett is being put in the Hall alongside other legends like Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan. While Garnett won a championship with the Boston Celtics, he started out his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has had a topsy turvy relationship with the organization, particularly owner, Glen Taylor. In a recent interview with The Athletic, Garnett spoke about how Taylor went against the wishes of himself and the late Flip Saunders. Garnett is extremely upset with Taylor and says he doesn't want his jersey retired in the city because he doesn't want to work with snakes. Mark Sagliocco/Getty Images for The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences "Glen and I had an understanding before Flip died, and when Flip died, that understanding went with Flip. For that, I won’t forgive Glen. I won’t forgive him for that. I thought he was a straight up person, straight up business man, and when Flip died, everything went with him," Garnett said. "Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota in my heart. But I don’t do business with snakes. I don’t do business with snake mu’fuckas. I try not to do business with openly snakes or people who are snake-like." If you're a Timberwolves fan, these comments have to sting although they are understandable when you consider Garnett's relationship with Saunders. Hopefully, these wounds can be mended sooner rather than later. [Via] View the full article
  6. French Montana seriously delivered a goldmine three years ago when he released one of the defining songs of the year, "Unforgettable" with Swae Lee. The track cemented Swae Lee as a veritable solo artist, and it also gave French Montana that one mainstream hit that he was missing. Until the end of his days, the Bronx native will be getting hefty cash payments from the song. On the three-year anniversary of its release, French Montana is looking back at how much it has changed lives across the globe. He posted a touching message on Instagram. Eugene Gologursky/Getty Images "JUST IN TODAY - 8 MILLION RECORDS SOLD ! ALMOST DIAMOND," wrote the 35-year-old rapper. "NOTHING MADE ME HAPPIER THAN SEEING THESE KIDS’ FACES AFTER I GOT THEM THE 12 VISAS TO COME TO THE LAND WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE, I KNOW THAT FEELING," he added, referring to the children he filmed the video with in Uganda. "IT WAS MORE THAN A SONG IT WAS A LIFE CHANGING EVENT THAT HELPED MILLIONS, THANK YOU TO ALL THE FANS BECAUSE ON THIS DAY 3 YEARS AGO IT CAME OUT AND MY BROTHER @swaelee THE YOUNG GOAT AKA BLANKET JACKSON," he wrote. That final statement speaks volumes about the talent of Swae Lee. French clearly believes that he is a spawn of the great Michael Jackson. Do you think the Rae Sremmurd member will continue levelling up to prove that to the rest of the world? View the full article
  7. Despite Instagram's best efforts to censor the Canadian hero Tory Lanez and his debaucherous, twerk-fueled antic session that is Quarantine Radio, the old adage you can't keep a good man down has proved true once again. Today marks the arrival of yet another episode of the ongoing series, which has proven to be a hilarious high point in the midst of the occasionally unshakeable quarantine blues. Though we're running a little late from the originally scheduled 3 PM runtime, look for Tory to take over the Instagram Live airwaves any minute now. Aside from an abundance of scantily clad women eager to show off their twerking prowess, Tory's Quarantine Radio has also been a digital celebrity hotspot. Artists like Drake, Young Thug, DMX, Chris Brown, and French Montana have already slid through for a moment or two, much to the delight of the record-breaking viewers in attendance. From the sound of it, Tory is eager to come back with a vengeance, raiding the liquor cabinet and letting the liquid courage take over. "LAY OUT YA FIT ! HOP IN THAT IMAGINARY CAR. LETS GET LIT," teases Tory, stirring up the hype further. "I DEAD ASS AINT GOT TO UNWIND IN THE LAST 4 DAYS EVERYBODY GRAB YOUR LIQUOR BOTTLES !! WE GETTING DRUNK." As of now, Tory Lanez has yet to start up the episode, but load up those phones, crack a bottle, and get ready for another wild installment of Quarantine Radio -- exclusively available on Tory Lanez' Instagram page. 8. Danielle Bregoli, better known to most as Bhad Bhabie, came under fire this week after sharing several videos and photos of herself online with a much darker skin color than her natural shade. The internet attacked the 17-year-old girl and the backlash became too much for her to handle, forcing her to address the controversy on her Instagram Story. "Millions of people sick, thousands dying every day and y'all worried about me getting make up done for a photoshoot?" asked the teenage rapper on social media. "I'm usually the wild one but y'all need to chill and focus on what's important right now." To an extent, Bhad Bhabie is right. There are some pretty serious things happening in the world that deserve our undivided attention. However, just because we're living through a global health crisis, it doesn't give you free rein to act a fool on the internet. Indeed, there are over a million confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the world. However, just because there's a pandemic, it doesn't mean that racism just disappeared. Cultural appropriation is still a thing and, in these times, it's important for us all to unite (while still social distancing, of course) in order to combat the spread of this scary virus. Not divide even further. Are you buying what Bhad Bhabie is selling? View the full article
  9. Kobe Bryant's death still comes as a shock to many people throughout the sports world. The Los Angeles Lakers legend won five NBA titles throughout his career and was seen as someone who was immortal. Even two months after his passing, fans are still trying to wonder why such a tragedy would happen. Bryant had numerous adoring fans, including many in the music industry. One of those fans was none other than Lil Wayne. Wayne was on the latest episode of the "All The Smoke" podcast with Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes. During the episode, the former NBA stars asked Wayne to speak on Kobe and how he felt about him. As Wayne explains, he believes Bryant is a true GOAT and that he got to see with his own eyes just how great Kobe is. For Wayne, Kobe surpasses Jordan because he never truly experience MJ up close. "I met Kobe when he was playing and I got to see the way he took everything super seriously," Wayne said. "He's going to shake your hand harder than you will ever shake his hand." Wayne also recounted the time they sat down to talk and Kobe knew all of the lyrics to one of his verses. It was then that Wayne knew Kobe was a different type of competitor and that he was one of the most impressive people he had ever met. As Wayne states, Kobe was one of the most competitive players ever and as a competitive MC, Wayne appreciated what Kobe brought to the table. Both men are legends in their own fields and it's cool to see the mutual respect they had for one another. View the full article
  10. Master P is a man of the community and in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, he's putting his efforts towards making sure the most vulnerable group in New Orleans is protected. By now, health officials have made it abundantly clear that the elderly are the most at-risk of dying from Coronavirus. Speaking to TMZ, the No Limit CEO announced that he's offering services to the elderly in New Orleans to make sure they're staying Coronavirus-free. Master P revealed that he's offering the elderly free deep cleaning for their home as well as free hand sanitizer. Paul Archuleta/Getty Images In addition to the disinfecting homes and handing out hand sanitizers, which have become a hot commodity these days, Master P revealed that his foundation Team Hope NOLA have made several cash donations and have been using resources to supply the elderly with groceries. The hand sanitizers have also been packaged with grocery deliveries. In order to get the hand sanitizers and free disinfectants, anyone in the New Orleans area that's above the age of 60 can go onto TeamHopeNOLA.org or mastercleanlife.com and sign up for Master P's new service. "My thing is a lot of people forget about the elderly and a lot of the elderly are the ones gettin' hit hard," he said. Check out the clip below. [Via] View the full article

  12. One of the best sneakers of all time is the Air Jordan 1 and over the years, Jumpman has looked at ways to improve upon the silhouette. Over the last few months, one of their efforts has been to put Zoom Air in the midsole as opposed to the standard Air unit. There have been a couple of colorways that use this technology but as the summer months approach, Jordan Brand is determined to come through with even more offerings for the masses. The latest colorway to be unveiled is this "Court Purple" offering which can be found, below. In fact, this shoe makes us think of the up and coming Air Jordan 5 "Alternate Grape." We say this because of the purple overlays that adorn the upper. From there, we have a teal Nike swoosh that adds to the Grape aesthetic. The base of this sneaker is black, with the shade appearing on both the midsole and side panels. From there, we have a gradient outsole that starts out teal in the front and quickly progresses to purple in the back. You can expect these to drop in the late summer or early fall. Stay tuned for updates as we will be sure to bring them to you. Image via HouseOfHeat View the full article

  15. One of the minor characters in Tiger King, the docu-series taking Netflix by storm, is speaking out after he was misgendered throughout the entire show. Kelci "Saff" Saffery, one of the zookeepers who worked with Joe Exotic, Jeff Lowe, and all the others, claims that he was incorrectly identified as a woman on the show despite using male pronouns. Saff was a favorite on the show, viewed as one of the only people who actually cared about the animals. While Joe Exotic likely started off with a love for his tigers, he ended up getting caught up in an evil game against Carole Baskin, Jeff Lowe, and others, losing his passion over time. Saff has been championed as a hero but he still wishes the show portrayed him differently. The producers of the show failed to address Saff's bisexuality and they did not respect his desired pronouns of "he/him." "I've always gone by 'him' since I could say that out loud. If people are asking me what I prefer, it's very obvious what I prefer, and that's he," said the zookeeper in an interview with Out Magazine. "I'm not going to tell anyone what they need to or should call me. I think that everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and I'm obviously as easygoing in that department as I can get." Saff claims that he is not bothered by people misgendering him, but that he certainly prefers going by "Saff," "he," or "him." [via] View the full article
  16. If you're a sneakerhead who also loves fashion, then you would know that the Air Jordan 1 High OG is not just one of the most popular sneakers ever, it is also one of the most versatile. Thanks to the sheer volume of colorways in the Jordan 1 library, the shoe can be worn with practically any outfit. Jordan Brand has been hip to the popularity of this shoe for a while now and has been releasing new offerings en masse. Recently, we reported on how the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Metallic Silver" from 2001, would be re-released globally. Of course, this shoe came out back in 2001 and was exclusive to Japan. Now, Jumpman looks to be gearing up for yet another Japan-exclusive re-release in the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Midnight Navy." As you can see from the rendering below, the shoe has a white base and silver Nike swoosh while the overlays are navy blue. It is being reported that these will drop during the Holiday season of 2020 for $170 USD. The post above notes that the official shoe could be a lot different from the rendering so it is important not to cast judgment, just yet. Stay tuned for updates regarding this shoe as we will be sure to bring them to you. View the full article
  17. A songwriter is accusing Post Malone of royally screwing him out of money and credits on "Circles," TMZ reports. Tyler Armes filed a lawsuit against Post Malone and producer Frank Dukes for credit as a co-writer of the song and for his share of royalties from past and future song sales and streams. Kevin Winter/Getty Images In the lawsuit, Armes said that Post Malone's manager facilitated a writing session with him and Post Malone in August 2018 which ultimately resulted in the Billboard chart-topping single, "Circles." However, his name is nowhere to be seen in the song credits, even though he claims responsibility for the chords, bassline, and the guitar melody, among other things. Armes said that there has been negotiation with Post's team prior to the song's release on August 30th. A five percent cut of the publishing royalties were offered but Armes wanted a bigger cut and an actual credit on the song. In turn, he claims Post's team essentially turned down the offer and told him off. The court documents even claim that Post Malone's manager had an exchange where Post recognized Armes' input. Of course, even Post's acknowledgment of his contributions to the track doesn't mean anything if he's not actually getting credit or a bag from it. Armes is suing Post Malone and Frank Dukes who he claims was at the session when the song was created. [Via] View the full article
  18. It's no secret that Azealia Banks has eschewed music industry traditionalism in favor of carving out her own lane, releasing whatever she wants whenever she happens to feel like it. Now, the time has come for her to unleash another new loosie, the autotune-fueled and unapologetically braggadocious "Mamma Mia." Taking to an urgent drill-inspired instrumental, Banks slows down her flow to better emphasize her flexes, which hit a little different beneath the heavily-processed effects. "I'm Mama Goose, these little bitches little ducks to me," she raps, her cadence rising and falling like the tide. "They telling stories like i'm not a legend up millions / they wanna suck pussy bitches wanna suck tiddy, what the fuck you want from me?" At this point, the question feels rhetorical -- Banks is clearly no longer interested in opening the floor for questions. Instead, she has ventured into the seas of creativity, casting a line into the water whenever inspiration strikes. If you're still on board, this one is for you. Otherwise, don't expect Banks to cry tears in your absence. She's doing just fine. QUOTABLE LYRICS I'm Mama Goose, these little bitches little ducks to me They telling stories like i'm not a legend up millions They wanna suck pussy bitches wanna suck tiddy What the fuck you want from me? 19. This has been one of the most exciting chapters for fans of The Weeknd. For the last two weeks, the Toronto native has ruled the charts with "Blinding Lights" and After Hours, both being crowned as the country's favorite song and album respectively. Much of the appeal behind this era has been the visual representation of The Weeknd's genius. Through stylized music videos resembling a film starring the likes of Robert De Niro, Abel Tesfaye truly tapped into his creative spirit to deliver content unlike any of his peers. The ride continues with "Until I Bleed Out," the latest music video release by The Weeknd. Equipped with the bloody strap on his nose and the same red suit he's been rocking in each of his videos, The Weeknd navigates through a gorgeous mansion with balloons floating, indicating a celebration of sorts. However, the mood of the film does not reflect that of victory whatsoever. Abel looks lost. He appears damaged. Considering the fact that he literally got his head cut off in the last video, that much makes sense. Watch the new video for "Until I Bleed Out" above and let us know what you think of it. 20. If you ask Rich The Kid what his favorite albums of all-time are, you might expect him to list off a bunch of projects he's created over the years. The World Is Yours, The World Is Yours 2, BOSS MAN, maybe a Rich Forever tape thrown in there... Surprisingly enough, the Atlanta/New York rapper actually has a pretty respectable list that will pleasure hip-hop historians around the world. Out of nowhere, Rich The Kid decided to reveal some of his favorite bodies of work ever released, sharing their cover artworks on his Instagram page. Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images "These my top albums ever only rap n***as I ever looked up too," wrote the 27-year-old. Placed in no particular order, the rapper highlighted select projects from Nas, Lil Wayne, JAY-Z, and others. The first picture is one of Nas' God's Son. He follows that up with one of the greatest debut albums of all time, 50 Cent's Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. Then, we get JAY-Z's The Blueprint, Lil Wayne's original Tha Carter, the third installment in that series, and Nas' Stillmatic. Rich The Kid is much more of an old head than many would have thought. Are you surprised that he was so heavily influenced by these albums? View the full article

  22. R. Kelly's crimes have been deemed so serious that not even a global pandemic will get him released from prison. The disgraced singer, accused of sexually abusing dozens of underage girls, entered a bid to be released from jail early. He argued that, until his trial, he should be allowed to spend time in home confinement so that he can properly practice social distancing. As we saw in one particular inmate's video, conditions are rough in prisons across the country right now and, due to his age, R. Kelly says he's more at risk than others. Unfortunately for him (and fortunately for countless families affected by his actions over the years), Kelly will not be getting out despite the growing threat of COVID-19. Noting that he is still considered a flight risk and a threat to the witnesses in his case, R. Kelly was denied an early release. Cook County Sheriff’s Office via Getty Images "[Kelly] is currently in custody because of the risks that he will flee or attempt to obstruct, threaten or intimidate prospective witnesses. The defendant has not explained how those risks have changed," wrote the legal documents preventing him from leaving jail. The judge confirmed that there are currently no confirmed cases of coronavirus at the Chicago facility where R. Kelly is being held. She also says that she's not buying the singer's claim that his age places him more at risk than others, arguing that his surgical history does not either. R. Kelly is currently in prison as he awaits his trial, which is likely to be delayed due to the spread of COVID-19. It was originally scheduled to begin in July, but outlying circumstances have likely prevented that from happening. [via] View the full article
  23. Deep divers rejoice, for the lord and savior Aesop Rock has come through to bequeath a trilogy of tracks upon us. Following "Play Dead" and "KOWP" off his entirely self-produced soundtrack to Freedom Finger (Music From The Game), Rock has come through with the tense "Drums On The Wheel." Taking to an ominous guitar-driven instrumental, Rock wastes little time in administering a ridiculous flow-scheme. "Do you read me? Do you read me? Do I need to reach through the TV?" he raps. "Do I need to reach through the ouija? Houston, I may have gone too Houdini, I'm too uneasy." When it comes to the art of characterization and world-building, few can rise to the task with the immersive brilliance of Aesop Rock. Though seldom direct, his ability to be in several places at once solidify him as a truly unique voice in the pantheon of great hip-hop writers. Plus, he can produce his own beats, and does so wonderfully on arguable album highlight "Drums On The Wheel." Check it out for yourself below, and make sure to adjust your thinking caps accordingly. QUOTABLE LYRICS Do you read me? Do you read me? Do I need to reach through the TV? Do I need to reach through the ouija? 25. Tracy Morgan is one of the funniest men on the planet but, as you all know, there's a time and place for everything. When he appeared on Today via video call, the comedian was asked about how he's been holding up during this hard time. His response shocked Hoda Kotb, as well as everybody watching at home. "Me and my wife been quarantinin' it for like three weeks so she's pregnant three times," joked the actor, failing to read his interviewer's reaction. "Every week she got pregnant. We're also role-playing a lot now. She's playing a young maiden whose grandfather was infected with coronavirus and I'm the scientist who discovered the cure and she'll do anything to save her grandfather's life. I mean anything!" Nicholas Hunt/Getty Images Hoda Kotb had no clue what to say in response, hitting Morgan with a simple, "You are a creative one..." before completely switching up the subject. We're sure nobody was expecting this kind of appearance from Tracy Morgan on Today. Elsewhere in the same interview, the comedian also speaks about the new season of The Last OG, which was much more family-friendly.
