  1. In the wake of a tumultuous political climate sweeping the United States of America, Bobby Sessions and Royce Da 5'9" have connected to reflect on the circumstances. As the opening track on his recent album RVLTN (Chapter 3): The Price Of Freedom, Sessions opts to set a smooth tone with "Still Alive," a song that highlights' the strengths of his focused pen game. "The President embarrassing, he wanna call us thugs," raps Sessions, his cadence weary. "Hysteria, Babylon, Sodom and Gomorrah / treat us worse than animals, that's just how it goes / America infected and the county's been exposed." As the instrumental builds, Session's cadence becomes more explosive, a reflection of the tension simmering throughout the country. While some might be reticent to explore politically-charged music, given how oversaturated politics have become in general, these topics remain important to explore all the same. On that note, Royce Da 5'9" has opted to use his own voice as a weapon, matching Sessions' own intensity with a potent dose of topical bars. "Securing commas with cons, common as camaraderie / Ominous dons, mama I'm just Ahmaud Arbery / damn these rap dreams, both my granny and Annie Maxine were crack fiend and anti-vaccine." 2. Mike Saputo designed the logo for Eminem's Shady XV compilation, which was a celebration of the Shady Records roster at the time. Given the fact that the label underwent a massive overhaul since the release of that project, many assumed that, last year, Em would celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Shady Records with Shady XX and, apparently, those people were correct. Unfortunately, the project never came to life and, according to Saputo, it was effectively scrapped. The designer took to social media to show off the possible logos that Em had commissioned, explaining that there were likely dozens more. The news has started making the rounds and, after HotNewHipHop shared it on Twitter, a number of Shady-affiliated artists were surprised about it, stating their shock. Westside Gunn kicked off the reactions, saying that, "U learn Something new Everyday." Boogie, another artist signed to Em, was also dumbfounded, co-signing that sentiment. "Definitely lol," wrote the Compton rapper. With WSG and Boogie not even knowing about the label's compilation album, Eminem probably never got to actually making this happen. He may have just had the idea, hired an artist to come up with some designs, and then dropped it altogether. Would you be down for a compilation album from Eminem, Griselda, and Boogie one day? 3. It must be pretty cool planning out all the upcoming Verzuz match-ups, celebrating the culture and finding suitable pairings that would complement one another during the battle. So far, everything has been pretty iconic with the way Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have organized their hit series. Most recently, Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle took us on a road down memory lane and, in other weeks, we've gotten battles between Rick Ross and 2 Chainz, Brandy and Monica, and more. Convening to speak on future editions of the hit programming, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland started discussing possible match-ups for Missy Elliott, who was in the chat. Timbo hammered home that he believes Janet Jackson would be a good fit for the challenge, but Swizz wasn't so sure. Theo Wargo/Getty Images "Missy can be multiple people. Janet gonna just be Janet," said Swizz, blocking Tim's attempt to make it happen. The comments were taken as a form of disrespect against Janet Jackson, with many believing that Swizz is undermining her creativity and versatility. Because of the backlash, the mega-producer took to The Shade Room to reiterate what he meant. "LETS BE CLEAR," he started. "I don't think Missy & Janet is a good match up at all! Much love to Janet she's ICON but I just didn't feel that was a good match up. Janet got hits on hits but she should have a better person to celebrate with that's all. Blessings...." With that said, who do you think should face off against Janet Jackson on Verzuz? And what about Missy Elliott? Who should she battle? View the full article
  4. Kanye West has always had a special comfort level for airing out his grievances on Twitter. Last night, he indulged in yet another tweetstorm, refusing to release new music until the dissolution of his record contract and demanding apologies from Drake and J. Cole. This morning, the rapper followed up on last night's tweets by sharing a screenshot of a message with an unknown person discussing options to release himself from his deals with Universal Music Group and Sony/ATV Music Publishing. The individual also warned that since Taylor Swift's masters were reportedly bought for $300 million, the purchase of his own masters would be much more ambitious and expensive. "Remember that if you re-recorded these songs you could own these new masters outright," the person suggested. After being presented with different legal options, West was firm. "I'm not open to any form of business with Universal or Sony," he replied. West seemed to insinuate that he would opt for the "lawsuit/termination nuclear option" the individual outlined and sue the labels with his masters on the table as part of a settlement. "No one from Universal or Sony has responded so it's Go time," he wrote on Twitter. Dissolving one's contract prematurely isn't unheard of in the music industry, but it is certainly difficult. One example is Frank Ocean, who managed to walk away from his deal with Universal in spectacular fashion. Not surprisingly, the same label has also been the subject of a $100 million lawsuit filed by Lil Wayne in 2016 over unpaid royalties. Given the label's history of leaving artists unhappy, it's safe to assume that Kanye, the same man who once tweeted a definition of righteous indignation, has good reason to end his business relationship with the label. Do you think we'll be seeing Kanye revisit his old music in the near future? View the full article
  5. Florida residents may now sag their pants with ease following news that a 13-year-old law has been repealed. In 2007, Opa-locka made headlines after officials passed a controversial ordinance outlawing pants sagging. Those who were found in violation of the law were subject to arrest and-or fines up to $500, and throughout the years, there have been "Sagging Protests" as residents rejected the order. In 2009, a 17-year-old was arrested and held in jail overnight, causing many in Florida to sag their pants in defiance. A 2013 addition to the original law made sure to include that women were also subject to punishments. Joe Raedle / Staff / Getty Images Multiple reports now state that the Opa-locka, Florida City Council has overturned the ordinance in a 4-1 vote. There are a few more legal steps before the ordinance is officially tossed out, but residents are happy that this is no longer hanging over their heads. The commissioner who voted to keep the law in place reported.y stated that he believed the ordinance was to "uplift" young Black men. Others saw it as a law that specifically targeted the Black community considering that "sagging," which began in the prison system, became popular due to hip hop culture. “I was never in support of it, even as a resident,” Vice-Mayor Chris Davis told the Miami Herald. “I felt it disproportionately affected a certain segment of our population, which is young, African American men.” [via] View the full article
  6. Don't ever call Killa Cam an "old head," especially when you're mentioning the way he dresses. The Harlem legend wears many hats and his contributions to fashion have been just as impactful as it is to rap. Though the rapper is in his mid-40s, he makes a concerted effort to stay fresh on any occasion. A fan, unfortunately, didn't think his latest Dipset fit wasn't all that and slid into the comments to share her unwarranted opinion. "Old head swag," she commented underneath the photo, presumably in anticipation that it gets lost among the other comments. That was not the case. Cam'ron caught that comment and unleashed a scathing response. "Now u want a job[.] I'm on ya page swag is the last thing u should be talking bout. U WHOLE BUM hun," he wrote. "And I'ma keep coming a that Lil ugly motherfucker. U like it on my page. U still here. Ur welcome to stay. I'll back wit after the game lol," he added. It seems that the initial comment was deleted, possibly due to the overwhelming amount of fans who likely bombed the comment section with "DIPSET." Luckily, 2Cool2Blog captured a screenshot of the exchange which you could check out below. In other Cam'ron related news, the rapper revealed in recent months that there have been talks about a sequel to Paid In Full. Cam said that he's been talking to a friend of his who's currently running Dimensions Films about doing something similar to the first film. The pandemic has hit the film and television industry hard, halting production on several projects. The likelihood of this happening anytime in the next year seems incredibly slim. 7. Yep, we've also been waiting on new music from Meek Mill. Over the past few months, he's done more talking on the Internet in bubbling rivalries against 6ix9ine and Akademiks than he's dropped music. Thankfully, his focus has shifted and he seems to be heavy into album mode. Taking to Instagram over the weekend, he shared a glimpse of some fresh visuals he has for an upcoming song presumably titled, "Loyalty Over Royalty." Prior to that, he previewed a new track with Lil Durk and A Boogie. As fans anticipate a new album, he gave fans a little taste of what he has in store in the coming months. The rapper hit the 'Gram with a quick video of himself freestyling over some beat he found on YouTube. It's an introspective verse that finds Meek addressing the deaths of family members, paranoia, and mistrust. It's an exciting preview as to what we can hopefully expect from Meek on his forthcoming follow-up to Championships. The verse received immediate praise from fellow artists and even the Dream Chasers in-house producer Nick Papz who reflected on previously uploading Meek Mill-type beats on YouTube. "Lol my meek type beats on YouTube back in the day all over there. Crazy how far we came lol," he commented. Peep the freestyle below. Are you excited for new music from Meek? Sound off in the comments. View the full article
  8. Only a short couple of months after Princess Love filed to dismiss her divorce from Ray J, the singer initiated divorce proceedings again. The couple have been going through a particularly public series of martial spats. Earlier this year, the two premiered a four-part special on Zeus aptly named The Conversation: Ray J and PrincessLove, in which they sat down in front of the cameras to try and work out their marriage problems. The Blast reported that Ray J is asking for joint custody of the couple's two kids, Epik and Melody. Apparently, Ray J has also claimed that the couple signed a prenuptial agreement, although the specifics of the agreement are not known at this time. According to Page Six, the singer addressed the couple's troubles and his regrets in a new song that he recently recorded. Paul Archuleta/Getty Images While pregnant with son Epik Ray back in November, Princess Love threatened to file for divorce after she asserted that Ray J had left his wife and daughter "stranded in Vegas and blocked...from calling." The couple wed in August 2016 after a four year courtship. They were joined by daughter Melody Love in May 2018 and son Epik Ray in January of this year. View the full article
  9. When NLE Choppa told his followers to stop buying the Travis Scott Meal at McDonald's, he intended no ill will toward La Flame. He simply was preaching the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. Fast-food restaurants are ridiculously unhealthy, which is something that NLE Choppa has realized in the last few years. Despite his busy schedule, the 17-year-old rapper keeps a plant-based diet, which includes growing his own fruits and vegetables in his garden. He posted an update on his garden today, walking around his backyard and showing off some fresh cucumber and watermelon plants with his mother, but he also took some time to clarify what he meant by telling people to stop eating the Travis Scott Meal. "These people say I sound like a hater because I said to somebody to stop eating some shit that's not good for them," said NLE Choppa in a new video. "If anything, I sound like a supporter. Stop eating McDonald's period. That shit is human meat. That shit is fucked up. Bro, that shit isn't even real food. You can go on YouTube and look up what you're eating. They done found human meat in these fools' meat grinder, man. I'm just saying, I care about y'all. I ain't even mad, I ain't even pressed. I'm just clearing shit up. I've never been a hater. I don't hate on no man." Do you think NLE Choppa has a point? View the full article
  10. Dwyane Wade is easily the most legendary player in the history of the Miami Heat franchise. Sure, LeBron James gave them four incredible seasons, however, Wade was there from the beginning and spent the vast majority of his career with the team. Wade went on to win three NBA titles while also making the Finals on five separate occasions. He was the perfect ambassador for the city, and as a whole, the fans miss him greatly. Throughout this season, Wade has been an analyst for TNT, while also being an advocate for Jimmy Butler who is currently leading this Miami team to the promised land. Recently, Wade spoke to the Miami Herald, where he explained where he stands with this Heat team, and whether or not he has a role beyond being a retired player. Jason Koerner/Getty Images for LYFE Brand “Even though I played for this organization and we’ve done some incredible things and I know these guys, I’m just a fan,” Wade said. “I watch from afar and I’m coaching like they can hear me. I’m screaming at them like they can hear me and I’m texting them after the game the same way. Hopefully they can hear me. I’m just a fan that knows the game very well and knows the organization and the team very well who has access to the players. It’s like the ultimate fan.” As the Heat take on the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals, we're sure Wade will be riled up all throughout the series. The Heat have never made the NBA Finals without Wade in the lineup, which means the franchise is looking to make history. Having said that, a huge opportunity is on the horizon. 11. Meek Mill thinks he has the best album openers of all time, throwing his name in the hat when the official @TwitterMusic account asked for opinions. When Twitter asked people to name their favorite album openers of all time, they likely weren't expecting an artist to chime in with their own. Or, perhaps they were, looking to create some headline-worthy content on the low. Either way, Meek Mill took the bait, entering the conversation and forcing us to reconsider our initial picks. Allen Berezovsky/Getty Images If Meek Mill is good at one thing, it's his album curation. He always manages to place his songs in the best order to keep the listener tuned in, which was evidenced in his GRAMMY-nominated album Championships. His projects always start off on the right foot and, when he dropped his debut studio album Dreams and Nightmares in 2012, he showed us all that he was a force to be reckoned with the classic song of the same title. "Hold up wait a minute," wrote Meek on Twitter, responding to the Twitter Music account. While he's not outwardly naming himself, he's effectively doing so just by answering cryptically. Do you think Meek has the best album opener of all time? Who do you think has a better intro? View the full article
  12. Lil Tecca burst onto the scene back in 2019 thanks to his hit song "Ransom." The artist immediately took advantage of this song's success and came through with his debut album called We Love You Tecca. Since then, Tecca has been fairly quietly musically, until now. Over the past week, Tecca has released a track called "Our Time Intro" which is supposed to be the first track on his brand new album. In fact, Tecca confirmed last week that his new project was called Virgo World and that it would be dropping on Friday, September 18th. Fans have been looking forward to this project ever since it was announced, and now, Tecca has taken to Instagram with the cover art for the album. As you can see in the Instagram post below, the album cover features a green landscape, while statues grace certain parts of the image. You can even see that one of the statues have fallen over, and if you look closely, it seems like the statue is a representation of the logo on Tecca's cover art for his first project. As far as the tracklist and features are concerned, little is known about this project, so stay tuned for any updates as we will be sure to bring those to you. View the full article
  13. In addition to "WAP" being the most popular song in the world, it's also taken the throne back in the United States, re-earning its #1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 after a two-week lull. Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion sparked some big-time controversy with the release of their raunchy new single, which is expected to kick off Cardi's album rollout. The music video attracted even more attention when it arrived, allowing the track to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 before being dethroned by BTS. The K-pop group stood tall at the top for two weeks but, this week, they've moved down to #2, allowing room for Cardi and Megan to regain the pole position. With a third week at #1, Cardi B has tied "Bodak Yellow" to get her longest-reigning chart-topper ever. After a debut at #1 on the Global 200, "WAP" is back at #1 on the Hot 100, which is the United States-exclusive chart. Rounding out the Top 5 are Drake and Lil Durk with "Laugh Now Cry Later," DaBaby and Roddy Ricch with "Rockstar," and The Weeknd with "Blinding Lights." Elsewhere in the Top Ten are 24kGoldn and iann dior, who move up to #6 with "Mood." This is the highest chart position for either artist. At #7, Harry Styles clocks in with his summer-friendly hit "Watermelon Sugar". Jack Harlow enjoys the next spot down with his "WHATS POPPIN" remix and Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo join DJ Khaled and Drake to close out the final two spots. Congratulations to all of the artists listed! View the full article
  14. Curren$y and Harry Fraud's latest collaborative effort The OutRunners may have only arrived a short two months ago, but that was enough time away from fans for the two to prepare a follow-up. Today, the pair announced a new collaborative project, The Directors Cut. As with The OutRunners, the production on the new tape will be handled exclusively by Harry Fraud. The nine-track offering will feature Trippie Redd, Styles P, and Larry June and is set to be released on September 18. It will be the fifth collaboration between Curren$y and Harry Fraud and their fourth EP, following Cigarette Boats, The Marina, and Prestige Worldwide with Smoke DZA. Needless to say, the two's proven chemistry and back catalog ensures that we can expect another solid project this Friday. Jet Life, SRFSCHL The prolific duo also debuted a new video for the Rick Ross-assisted cut "Mugello Red" from The OutRunners along with the announcement. Ricky Rozay co-stars in the visuals, courtesy of director Yuset Pozo, which features exactly the right amount of champagne and Rolls-Royces you would expect from a Curren$y and Rick Ross video. 18. Before the end of this year, we'll be relegated to watch two old men argue about their different visions regarding the United States of America. The election is nearing and, if you haven't registered to vote yet, you should do so right now. Joe Biden and Donald Trump will be going head-to-head in November as one of the two will become the next president of the United States. Right now, Biden is looking set to assume office in the White House but Trump is trying to find ways to keep himself in there for another four years. With the debates nearing, Joe Rogan offered his services to moderate the conversation between the Republican and Democratic elected leaders and Trump has accepted his bid. MMA fighter Tim Kennedy asked his followers about the offer that Joe Rogan made on their podcast, throwing his name in there to possibly moderate the upcoming debate between Trump and Biden. Surprisingly enough, Trump weighed in on the matter, stating that he's down for it to happen. On his wildly-successful podcast, Joe Rogan often dives into the world of politics. The debate will be four-hours-long and will feature no live audience, which is a setting Rogan is already comfortable with. On the podcast episode with Kennedy, he said: "First of all, I want no one else in the room, just the three of us, and you’d have to stream it live so no one can edit it, and I would want them in there for hours. If they wanted to do that – they both wanted to come here in Austin, sit down and have a debate – I would 100% do it." It's not too surprising that Trump would accept, given the fact that Rogan took a subtle dig at Biden in the same podcast. "But I don’t think that Biden can handle it," said Rogan. "I think Biden is like, I think he’s, I mean people get mad at me for saying this, I think there’s something wrong and I don’t think there’s something wrong, because I’m guessing, or because I’m pro-Trump. I’ve seen him fall apart." Do you think Rogan will make a good moderator in the Presidential Debate? View the full article
  19. Lonzo Ball made a huge decision today as he decided to step away from Roc Nation to go and join Klutch Sports. Ball had originally joined Roc Nation alongside his brothers, but now, it seems as though he decided to change course. Over the last year or so, Ball has been trying to separate himself from his father and his brothers' decisions, and recently, Ball spoke to ESPN about his relationship with LaVar. “We had a couple rumblings here and there, but everything got squared away,” Ball said. “When your son gets older, they’re going to butt heads with their dad, and that’s what I did for about a year and a half. But everything is cool now.” Ashley Landis-Pool/Getty Images In the same ESPN interview, LaVar noted that he is perfectly okay with Lonzo's decisions, noting that he is his own man who can do whatever he chooses. “He’s always been his own man,” LaVar stated. “As a father, all I can do is guide him. I’m not going to take a lesser role. I am going to be his father, and that’s it.” Now that Lonzo is being represented by Rich Paul, it will be interesting to see where his career goes next. With rumblings that the Pelicans could trade Lonzo, perhaps Klutch Sports will be looking to put Lonzo in the best spot possible. [Via] View the full article
  20. When Griselda's interview with Elliott Wilson first released, there was a lot of controversy over comments made by Westside Gunn about how the Buffalo-based collective stacks up against TDE and Dreamville. "All of this in one year," said WSG in December 2019 about Griselda's slate of new projects that year. "And we not mentioned in this one year and we not mentioned as the top group. Like, you're still going to mention TDE, you're going to mention Dreamville. Dreamville or TDE didn't do it." Because of that remark, the often-described leader of Griselda was forced to clarify on numerous occasions that he did not have any animosity toward those two labels. Jacopo Raule/Getty Images As the anniversary of their meet-up with the Rap Radar host came up, Elliott Wilson shared a memory with Griselda, prompting Westside Gunn to touch on his feelings toward Dreamville and TDE again. "It was ALOT of controversy after this interview," he said on Twitter. "They tried to make it seem like I was starting beef w/ TDE & Dreamville when in actuality I had &have nothing but [love] for them n***as..since then Bro dropped 3x I’ve Dropped 2x, Benny bout to drop then I’m droppingagain was I wrong." Griselda is absolutely the most consistent rap group working right now. They've come through with so many incredible projects, serving as one of this year's music highlights. With Conway's recent release, the fall takeover for them is commencing and we couldn't be more excited. Read our new interview with Conway here and let us know where you rank Griselda against TDE and Dreamville. View the full article
  21. Tyler, The Creator is a man who wears many hats. On top of his music, he has a Golf Wang and Golf Le Fleur imprint which are both directly tied to Converse. We have seen plenty of Golf Le Fleur Converse sneakers over the last couple of years, and now, we are getting a Golf Wang offering that will surely appeal to his fan base. As you can see from the Instagram posts below, the shoe has Gold Wang branding on the side panels, while the left and right shoes have a mismatched aesthetic. Both shoes, however, do contain the same colors except they are mostly laid out differently. Here, we see some blue, red, and yellow which helps to mix things up a bit. Overall, this sneaker stays true to the aesthetics Tyler has created in the past, so die-hard fans will certainly enjoy these. If you are interested in copping these kicks, you can do so right now for $100 USD over at Converse.com. If you missed out on them, they will also be dropping later today over at Solebox, asphalt gold, and AFEW at 6 PM EST. Let us know what you think, in the comments below. View the full article
  22. If you've ever wished you had a rich uncle with a mansion and a pool, you're in luck. You can make that dream come true for the low of price of $30 a night. After first teasing a partnership with Airbnb on Instagram, Will Smith has made it official with a new listing for "The Freshest Los Angeles Mansion Around." Guests are entitled to "a few royal perks", including "a fresh pair of Jordans [for] shooting some b-ball in the bedroom" and meals served on silver platters. It's also for a good cause: "Airbnb will make a one-time donation to... the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, a program that supports youth, including those in greatest need, by offering development and skill-building programs, recreational activities and empowerment tools." Don't be surprised if the home looks a little different when you first walk in, though. All interior scenes were shot on sets, but the famous residence was used for exterior shots and, most notably, whenever Uncle Phil would throw Jazz out of the house. The partnership with Airbnb commemorates the 30th anniversary of the iconic show and follows the announcement of an upcoming reunion special that will air on HBO Max. Fans will be happy to know that Janet Hubert, a.k.a the original Aunt Viv, is involved, reuniting her with her on-screen family for "an unscripted special looking back at the series and the cultural impact the series has had since its debut." With a gritty reboot in the works (with original showrunners Andy and Susan Borowitz, Smith, and original producers Quincy Jones and Benny Medina attached as executive producers), it seems nostalgia for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is at an all-time high. 23. Could Rihanna be releasing new music soon? After being spotted at a video shoot with Young Thug this weekend, many believe that the answer could be affirmative. For the last half-decade, the Rihanna Navy has been begging their leading lady to release new music. ANTI was the last album to have been released by the 32-year-old. If you've only been paying attention to her music, you wouldn't have even realized how busy the pop star been in other ventures throughout the last five years. Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images In a short matter of time, Rihanna has built herself to be a business mogul, launching successful companies in Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Savage X Fenty, and her Fenty collaboration with LVMH. As she nears a billion dollars, the hard-working artist is doing all that she can to get another album out there, teasing it for the last year-and-a-half. It looks like, after this weekend, we may be nearing the final stages of our long wait. As reported by HHNM, Rih was spotted with Young Thug at a video shoot. Her fans have described the shoot as a "secret" and, as of right now, it's unclear whether it's for a music video or a new campaign with one of her fashion or skincare brands. Adding even more fuel to the rumors, the official YSL Records account shared an old photo of Rih and Thugger in the studio together from several years ago. Coincidence? Alternatively, it could be for something that Thug is working on, inviting Rihanna as a featured artist or a creative director. What do you think could be happening? Is a new album on the way? 24. Yesterday, the Los Angeles Clippers had a chance to knock out the Denver Nuggets in order to move on to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in the history of the franchise. Despite being up by 16 points at the half, the Clippers had a disastrous second half as Denver came back and won the game by 13 points. It was an unlikely implosion from a team with a ton of depth, as well as star players like Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Following the game, Leonard was bluntly asked whether or not the Clippers choked the game away. Kawhi ultimately answered the question and claimed that the team just went cold. He felt like making shots became a lot more difficult and that, in the end, they just couldn't close it out. "We just went cold. Went cold in that 3rd quarter. That’s it. Kept getting to the paint, passing the ball. Got a little stagnant. Just couldn’t make shots," Leonard said. Now, the Clippers and Nuggets will play in a deciding Game 7 on Tuesday night. The winner will cement their place in the Western Conference Finals where they will have to take on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Let us know who you think is going to win, in the comments below. View the full article
  25. Lonzo Ball and his two brothers LiAngelo and LaMelo made waves just a few months ago as they decided to sign with Jay-Z's Roc Nation. This was a management deal that was supposed to bring all of the brothers closer together. Of course, at the time, their father LaVar had a lot to say about the new deal, noting that Roc Nation was the perfect place for the young men to go. Now, however, Lonzo has decided to change course as he has left Roc Nation, and will now be signing with Rich Paul's Klutch Sports. As many of you know, Klutch Sports is one of the most powerful agencies in all of basketball right now and for good reason. Klutch boasts a large lineup of some of the best players in the league, including LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Ben Simmons. Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images "I wanted to lead my career," Ball said. "Picking my own representation -- just solely as my decision -- was step one in that process. For me, it was an easy call, and it was the right time to make that call." With Lonzo leaving Roc Nation, it will be interesting to see what his brothers decide to do. Lonzo has always tried to do his own thing, especially since he recently cut ties with the Big Baller Brand. [Via] View the full article
