  1. When artists are trolled online, many of them choose to ignore the hateful comments. Sometimes their "clap backs" will gain attention on social media and that will be the end of the exchange, but a person who decided to share Cardi B's address on social media received a visit from authorities. Theo Wargo / Staff / Getty Images Cardi B has regularly shared her dislike for President Donald Trump, much to the dismay to his supporters. She recently got into a verbal argument with far-right pundit Candace Owens and the rapper often trades insults with conservatives who defend America's 45th Commander-in-Chief. Earlier this year, someone decided to leak Cardi B's personal information, so to protect her property and her family, the "WAP" rapper took matters into her own hands to find out who the person was. “They be making fun of me. I ignore them. I don’t give a f*ck,” Cardi reportedly said during an Instagram Live. “Let me tell you something. Sh*t gets so intense that a Trump supporter posted my address and encouraged people to dox my home, to put my house on fire... I literally hired a private investigator, and serve them with a warrant and arrest this boy. This boy was a f*cking teenager. His parents were shook.” In October 2018, Cardi pulled a similar move when she received threats online that targeted her daughter. "I got offered seven figures [for pictures of Kulture], but I’m just not ready yet," the rapper said at the time. "I get so many disgusting text messages, I had to hire a private investigator to figure out who sends me this sh*t.” [via][via] View the full article
  2. Lord Apex and V Don have kept fans anticipating their joint project with singles like "Belize" ft. CJ Fly and "UK Shit." Finally, the pair unleashed Supply & Demand in its entirety over the weekend. The project runs for eleven-track in total with a run-time of nearly half-an-hour. Apex's laid-back, smoked out flow meshes perfectly with V Don's atmospheric sample-based production. Murs, Wilie The Kid, and CJ Fly all make appearances throughout the project. "A lot of people in his discography are people I’m a fan of," Lord Apex told DJBooth about working with V Don. "I realized I had a different lane in terms of where I could take his music, knowing I’m [bringing] a different perspective, coming from the UK. But [I’m] still tied in and aware of what’s going on in the New York scene." Peep his new project below. View the full article
  3. Berner is arguably the hardest working man in both the rap and the cannabis industry. Between running the Cookies brand, and the prolific amount of music he puts out annually, Berner doesn't stop grinding. This week, he prepares for the release of his third project of the year, Russ Bufalino and he dropped off some heat for fans to get a taste of what he's cooking up next. For those who've been following Berner, "20 Joints" remains one of the most iconic joints in his expansive catalog. The rapper released the sequel, "100 Joints (20 Joints Part 2)" today. Berner brings a funky West Coast vibe on this record with 808s bangin' and a flow that sounds inspired by the great Too $hort. The new single arrived alongside his collaboration with Tee Grizzley, "R.I.P." Check out Berner's new single below and keep your eyes peeled for Russ Bufalino dropping Sept. 16. 4. He briefly stayed silent when news surfaced that his TattleTales record would do 45K to 50K its first week, far less than what was initially projected. 6ix9ine promoted his project heavily with the help of his trolling antics as he faced off with rappers like Lil Durk, Lil Reese, Lil Tjay, and more. It's reported that his bundling deals were negated by Billboard as the charting company has shared that they would be shifting the rules on how they counted sales. However, those changes were reportedly supposed to go into effect in October, but 6ix9ine believes he was targeted for previously calling out Billboard when he accused them of manipulating numbers to allow certain artists to take No. 1 spots. He's an artist who doesn't stay silent for long, so 6ix9ine sat down with Impaulsive to cover a multitude of his controversies. He was asked by the hosts if he ever feels like his life is in danger and was questioned about why he seems to goad people. The rapper first point to his security guards standing nearby before sharing his thoughts. "I'm not stupid, right. I said it before and I'mma say it again. Me and [XXXTentacion] was really close. XXX is walking around with $50,000 in a duffle bag, no security, tries to buy a bike, gets killed. He writes me June 16 saying, 'Be safe, okay? Don't let your guard down.' Next day, he dies. Every comment was, 'Where was his security?'" "Pop Smoke. Murdered in L.A. Every comment was, 'Where was his security?' 6ix9ine has security. He's p*ssy." The hosts noted that neither XXXTentacion nor Pop Smoke was causing controversy and trolling other rappers the way 6ix9ine has done. "Basically, what you're saying to me is, 'They weren't doing the things you are doing Tekashi and they still ended up dead.' So what difference does it make?" the rapper asked. Still, the hosts pressed 6ix9ine on why he would "push [his] luck." The rapper pointed to his masked security guards and said, "Because I have them." Logan Paul asked Tekashi if he planned on having security for the rest of his life because he's a "master troller" and it doesn't seem as if the rapper plans on slowing down anytime soon. 6ix9ine responded that by the time he's 50 or 60-years-old, he hopes he has "[his] sh*t together." 5. One of grime's most beloved figures has been steadily keeping fans on their toes for some new music. It's been nearly two years since the release of his last project, Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament. He's released some new music since then including his contributions to the Top Boy soundtrack as fans have anticipated the follow-up. His new project is on the way, hopefully, and his latest drop seems like a promising sign that he's cooking up. Taking to Instagram, he shared an unreleased song from his album called, "Dead To Me." The rapper delivers a heartbreak anthem over soft piano chords produced by Reiss. "Another tune that never made the album but I just felt like freeing a hostage thank me by buying my album," Ghetts wrote about the song. Check it out below. 6. Stefflon Don is two years removed from her album Secure, though she hasn't been inactive in the slightest. The UK rapper had 2019 on smash with her feature on Wiley's "Boasty" ft. Idris Elba and Sean Paul, and also had a collab with fellow Quality Control artist Lil Baby. As she's kept fans waiting for the release of her next project, she's back with a brand new heater for the streets. Perhaps an album is on the way, after all, though Stefflon Don hasn't necessarily announced a full body of work yet. Instead, she unleashed her brand new single, "Move" earlier today. Her latest single taps into her Jamaican roots with a heavy dancehall and ragga influence while still flexing her bars. She storms through, making her presence on her first solo offering of the year. Peep Stefflon's new offering below. 7. A recent article published by Forbes sent the public into a tailspin. The publication shared a piece by a Black journalist named Kori Hale titled "A Second Stimulus Check is Coming, Can the Black Community Wait?" and people took to social media to share their ire. Many thought it was unfair for Forbes to suggest that Black people were the main demographic benefitting from the federal government stimulus checks. The outlet didn't issue a stateement about the title, but they did respond by quietly changing the words "Black community" to "minority communities," a move that didn't go unnoticed. Pascal Le Segretain / Staff / Getty Images This controversy comes days after Kanye West's full interview with Nick Cannon was shared online. During their hourslong chat, Ye mentioned Forbes and aired out his issues with the company. "Even Forbes exposed themselves," Kanye told Cannon. "I like, love—man, Forbes is some of my favorite White supremacists, man. They cold, bro. My most favorite White supremacists is Forbes, because I just gotta respect their gangster. They don't live in 2020. They act like it's 1800s still. Read the Forbes. It's crazy racist. Everytime they write stuff." “Bloomberg was coming and they had an accurate net worth of $3.3 billion and Forbes purposely landed an article to dispute that and said, ‘Well, the way we counted is $1.3 and they dropped it at 5:05 or something right at the end of the week, Kanye added about the previous dispute over his net worth. "So, that would go into the weekend and that would be the story. It was confusion. They can just cause confusion." Check out Kanye West sharing his thoughts on Forbes around the 24-minute mark below along with responses to Forbes's recent article. View the full article
  8. The coronavirus is still a threat to society, though social distancing and travel rules are a bit more lax now than they were before. People have been able to move around a bit more freely, with a mask, of course, but those that decide to head out of the country should know that they will need to get tested. Dave East hit the 'Gram yesterday where he shared footage of himself taking the test for coronavirus. The Karma 3 rapper revealed that he was heading to Jamaica, though part of that agreement is getting tested. "They Said I Can’t Go To [Jamaica] Without Being Tested. So Here We Go," he said. If you've taken the test before, you can probably understand the level of discomfort that evidently comes across Dave's face. While Dave East is celebrating the release of Karma 3, he did recently reveal that he was using his time in quarantine to lock into the studio, especially after his acting gigs in 2019. "Me and Styles, we working on Beloved Part 2, we gonna do a sequel to the first album," East told HNHH in a recent interview. "A few more scripts are coming in so I’m just keeping it moving. I got about 2 other projects that I’m 75-80% finished with," he continued. "Karma was just the one we were gonna let fly first. But I used the quarantine to my advantage. I buried myself in the studio, just putting the vibe back into my sound and it helped because I’m not ripping and running." View the full article

  10. Considering the fact that they spent over twenty years of their lives together, a twenty-one-hour deposition shouldn't be the biggest deal in the world for Dr. Dre to take part in. After all, he and his estranged wife have a lot of time to sift through if they want to get their desired outcomes in their divorce proceedings. Still, many are reacting with wide eyes about Nicole Young requesting a twenty-hour-hour deposition for Dr. Dre as she seeks to gain half of his billion-dollar fortune. Michael Loccisano/Getty Images Following his comments about the ongoing separation this weekend, 50 Cent chimed in on another report about Dre and his estranged wife, taking to Instagram to share his thoughts. Posting a picture of a headline stating that Nicole Young is demanding his presence for a deposition that lasts nearly a full day, Fif said: "21 hour deposition and OJ is out, wait let me think." Nicole Young and Dr. Dre filed for divorce earlier this year and, ever since, things have gotten very ugly between them. The mega-producer's estranged wife is claiming that their prenuptial agreement is void because, two years after their marriage, Dre ripped up the papers in an act of affection. Dre argues that that means nothing. Do you think Nicole Young will end up taking ownership of half of Dre's empire? View the full article
  11. Though there was once a time when her music was nearly ubiquitous -- who doesn't remember "Paper Planes" appearing in pop culture at every turn -- M.I.A's career has since been fraught with turmoil. Blackballed by the industry (in her own words) and rendered an outcast of sorts, the eclectic musician never let the many obstacles begin to throw her off the trail. In fact, M.I.A. has all but doubled down, and while her mainstream popularity has plummetted her creativity and artistic individuality have remained distinctly unique. Even the release of her new single "CTRL" feels like part of a wider vision. Available for streaming on her official website here, M.I.A's brand new track finds her taking to an electronic house-inspired banger, catching the pulsating beat with a robotic flow. Lyrically, M.I.A shows now hesitance to flex both her swagger and literary knowledge, following up a BM bar with a Tolstoy reference. "Rendez-vouz in Greece, they wanna get a piece," she spits. "Modern Day Tolstoy, I give them War & Peace / Une, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six / Why you got to fuck with me just to be a bitch?" 12. Over the weekend, we reported on a segment from BET's excellent Ruff Ryders Chronicles series, which provides a thorough deep dive into the fascinating history of the Double R movement. As a key player in that movement, Eve's come-up was a key focus, during which she opened up about her history signing with Dr. Dre in the late nineties. Unfortunately, the partnership was short-lived as Dre simply didn't have the time to allocate to Eve's career. Interscope's Jimmy Iovine, however, suggested a possible transition to Ruff Ryders, and before long the Philadelphia emcee was battling her way onto the roster. Despite what might have led to some bad blood between the parties, Eve and Dre ultimately went on to make beautiful music together, with the Good Doc helming some of her biggest commercial hits to date. Yet beyond those, he laced her with a few key bangers, including the Eve-o-Lution standout "What." A darker contrast to her typical preferred beat, Eve's rugged cadence and combat-ready delivery are well suited for Dre's brooding synth strings. Though it's unfortunate her tenure at Aftermath was so short-lived, at least we managed to reap the benefits to some degree. For more from Dr. Dre and Eve, be sure to read our own exploration of their relationship and musical history right here. 13. When the President of the United States has this many rape and sexual assault allegations against him, there's a good chance he probably did that shit... During Trump's Presidency, the United States has been viewed as the laughing stock of the world and, with his response to the coronavirus pandemic, things only got worse. The rest of the world has been looking at everything unfolding in the States as if it were a dramatic reality show and now, another turn has been taken as the Justice Department seeks to take over Trump's defense in the ongoing sexual assault case by E. Jean Carroll. E. Jean Carroll is accusing Trump of sexually assaulting her in the 1990s and, while Trump has denied the allegations, the DOJ is looking to take over his defense, claiming that they can usurp the President's private legal team. Sean Rayford/Getty Images "Because President Trump was acting within the scope of his office or employment at the time of the incident out of which the plaintiff's claim arose, the United States will file a motion to substitute itself for President Trump in this action for any claim for which the FTCA provides the exclusive remedy," argued the Justice Department in paperwork filed on Tuesday. The incident in question allegedly happened at a Bergdorf Goodman store when Trump pushed himself against E. Jean Carroll on a dressing room wall, unzipped his pants, and pressed against her. Despite the President's claims that she's "not his type," Twitter is reflecting on this development by noting just how corrupt the political system is for the DOJ to be taking over this case. Many think it proves his guilt since all he needs to do is provide a DNA sample to be disassociated with the case and, as a result, "#TrumpIsARapist" is trending. Check out some of the most popular reactions below. [via] View the full article
  14. In just a few weeks, Fall will officially be upon us, marking over six months since we've been under quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of the world has returned to normal—or at least adjusted to a new normal—yet, many in the United States are still struggling with employment as businesses remain closed. We've watched as entertainers, especially creatives in the music industry, have implemented inventive ways to reach their fans, but often, venues are forgotten and many have had to permanently shut their doors after decades in business. Ari Lennox isn't shy when it comes to advocating for causes she believes in. She's spoken out in support of Black Lives Matter, about protecting Black women, and she's inspired her fellow rising R&B singers when others criticized their talents. The First Lady of Dreamville makes her voice heard when she believes it is absolutely necessary, so as a singer who has a deep respect for her artistry and the venues who helped mold her as an entertainer, Ari Lennox believed it was time to partner with Crown Royal and the Main Street Alliance to help save these creative spaces. Randy Shropshire / Stringer / Getty Images We recently wrote about Ari linking up with Hamilton star Anthony Ramos for their duet cover of Sly and the Family Stone's 1973 classic hit, "If You Want Me to Stay." It was expected that placing these two artists on the same song would result in a praiseworthy cover— but no one could have anticipated just how fluid their vocals would sound together. We spoke with Ari Lennox about her recent collaboration and advocating for venues like bars and clubs during this global pandemic, and she was excited to about helping those in need. "These are really trying and dark times," Ari said solemnly. Then, she quickly shifted to a more hopeful thought. "I know one day outside will open and I know how beautiful it will be when we can all come together in these nostalgic and classic venues to have fun, to sing. I feel like it's so important for people to be together so, we have to do our best to keep these venues around because I just feel like more memories need to be created. It's good for the soul... Also, just to keep these legends alive! A lot of our favorite legendary artists got their starts in these phenomenal venues so I think it's great for us to keep being reminded of their greatness through going to these venues. They're special, powerful places." The Main Sreet Alliance and Crown Royal have come together for a national relief campaign where the famed liquor brand will donate $1 to the non-profit for every stream (up to $500K) of Ari and Anthony's "If You Want Me to Stay" cover. It's believed that venues won't be able to open for six to eight months, leaving more smaller, intimate clubs at risk. Ari and Anthony will also be donating their royalties from the song to the cause. In solidarity, and for the next year, both Dreamville/Interscope and Republic Records will match the artists’ royalties with a donation to Main Street Alliance, as well. Working with Anthony Ramos, especially on a project such as this, is something that Ari Lennox called "a beautiful experience." When we asked her what it was like creating with the She's Gotta Have It actor, Ari couldn't stop beaming. Ramos has been applauded from the Broadway stage to film to television. He's released an EP, a full-length album, dropped a number of singles, and even won a Grammy. Still, Ari said he's one of the most relatable, earnest people that she's had the pleasure of working with. Simply, she couldn't stop singing his praises. "We are very serious about our crafts and wanting to respect Sly and the Family Stone," Ari said of creating this cover. "We were serious about learning it, but once we got it together, it was so much fun. He is so funny, so sweet, so genuine. Like, I just feel so blessed to have met like a real-life angel. He's just so nice! I couldn't understand how someone so phenomenal with all of these accomplishments that he has under his belt could be so sweet and nice and productive. Even though we were having fun, we were still getting it done. I just felt really lucky to work with him." Before we finished our chat, we wanted to know if Ari had advice for artists like herself during this time. Some have found it easy to become inspired and connect with their fans through social media, while others are struggling to be motivated as they worry about an unsure future. She suggested that, like herself, people should attempt to cover another artist's work to learn how to pay homage to the greats while also staying true to their own voices. If that doesn't work, Ari doesn't believe an artist should feel the need to do anything at all. "My advice is to just be still, honestly. Don't force it," said the singer. "Read or become one with nature. Those things have been helping me as well... walking my dog!" If you haven't already, check out Ari Lennox and Anthony Ramos blending their soulful vocals on Sly and the Family Stone's classic, "If You Want Me to Stay," below. View the full article
  15. In 2006, Sacha Baron Cohen changed the game with his madcap comedy classic Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, a satirical mockumentary designed to expose and poke fun at the blemishes and warts of American culture. Uproarious and unflinching, complete with the second-best nude fight scene of the decade (losing only just slightly to the one in Eastern Promises), Borat became an instant classic, spawning quotes that would have been memes had it been delivered today. Stephane L'hostis/Getty Images And while Cohen has since followed up with Bruno and Who Is America, many have coveted Borat's return, especially given how delicately balanced the sociopolitical climate has become in these modern times. Evidently, it would appear that Cohen is gearing up to deliver. Collider has reported that a sequel to Borat has already been filmed and screened, though details on whether director Larry Charles is returning is unknown. The same goes for information on a potential release date or distributor, though the report theorizes a streaming service seems the likeliest home for the sure-to-be-controversial film. The report also acknowledges that the character has since become iconic to many, and thus required a bit of creativity on Cohen's part. One of the sources involved in breaking the news described the dynamic as "Cohen playing Borat playing Cohen," an assessment that will likely make more sense upon actually seeing it. Keep an eye out for further news on the release of Borat 2, and sound off -- do you think the off-kilter Kazakshatni journalist is the hero the world needs right now? [via] View the full article
  16. With his contract coming to an end at the close of the 2020-2021 season, Giannis Antetokounmpo is rumored to be considering a new market when his time as a free agent comes. This year, his team was expected to go all the way after an incredible season but, after entering the NBA Bubble in Orlando, Florida, the Bucks just couldn't get a good rhythm going. They ended up losing their second-round battle against the Miami Heat in an upset, losing 4-1 in the series. Following last night's defeat, in which he did not play because of a right ankle sprain, Giannis was asked if he was considering a move to a new team in the offseason. There were rumors flying around that he would soon be asking for a trade but, according to the man himself, that's just not the case. Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images "It’s not happening. That’s not happening," said the Greek Freak following last night's elimination. "Some see a wall and go in [another direction]. I plow through it. We just have to get better as a team, individually and get right back at it next season." The 25-year-old Defensive Player of the Year winner reiterated that he trusts his teammates and his goal is still to bring a championship to Milwaukee. "If winning a championship was easy, everyone would have one," said Giannis. "We lost. Everyone saw that we lost. It’s disappointing, but what are we going to do? We’re going to keep working. I’ve got confidence in my teammates." What moves do you think the Bucks should pull in the offseason to build a championship team around Antetokounmpo? [via] View the full article
  17. Joe Budden announced that he was leaving Spotify after contract negotiations went left and, since then, things have been pretty messy in his life. First, Tahiry Jose came forward with abuse allegations against him, which he responded to on his podcast. "I'm very comfortable saying, you were abusive," responded Joe. "You used to beat my ass! You threw shit, you hit me, you kicked me, you did a whole bunch of shit." Then, just a week later, Joe was back in the news because of a leaked phone call between himself and his ex-fiancée Cyn Santana. According to her, Joe once physically dragged her around the house during an in-person meet-up. She also allegedly kicked her and their son Lexington out of his house, having not once sent them a dime to support themselves. Thaddaeus McAdams/Getty Images Shortly after the phone call leaked, more information was released from Cyn Santana's alleged court documentation, which explains Joe's problem with substance abuse and more. She outlines some of his questionable behavior, including kissing their son on the lips, which she is trying to stop, and more. In the twenty-fifth section of the court documents, Cyn allegedly speaks about Joe's relationship with his dog. People are understandably running to social media and discussing what is said, picking apart the retired rapper because of it. "Defendant has a male dog whom he loves and showers with attention," allegedly writes Cyn in the legal paperwork. "While most of Defendant's interactions with the dog are appropriate, I have observed on several occasions one particularly bizarre behavior by Defendant. Without putting too fine a point on it, suffice to say that Defendant has not only expressed concern for the dog's lack of a sexual partner, but has personally assumed responsibility for relieving any pent-up canine sexual tension. Defendant, for reasons I cannot fathom, has personally masturbated the dog. Defendant repeatedly states that he sees this function as his responsibility since there are no 'b-tches' around to provide a sexual outlet for the dog." The legitimacy of these documents is unclear but if somebody were faking this, they'd be going through a lot of effort to type out a legal document containing dozens of pages. Cyn Santana has responded to the leaked phone call, saying: "So, it's not secret that Joseph and I broke up over a year and a half ago. It's no secret. We're in the public eye, we're in the limelight, we're public figures... My family is a real family with real blood in their veins. With a heart. With a mental. We're still human beings." 18. With a name drawing inspiration from fables said to have been penned between the years of 620 and 564 BCE, it's not exactly hard to understand why Aesop Rock is one of hip-hop's most distinctive lyricists. Much like the tales on which his moniker is based, understanding the true meaning of Rock's lyrics requires further examination than the typical hip-hop track. Preferring to deal in the abstract and metaphorical, many of his lines serve to evoke feelings and images, leaving listeners to draw their own conclusions from there. And that's exactly what makes songs like his latest, "The Gate," such enjoyable journeys. Especially when Rock goes the distance and flexes an uncommon new flow, up-tempo though not at the cost of his typically-dense lyricism. 19. It's back-to-school season and, around the world, students are braving the coronavirus-riddled world to get back on their education grind, whether in-person or via Zoom. Across our social media feeds, we're seeing people complain about having to get back at it or sing about how overjoyed they are to be surrounded by people once again. Drake's son Adonis, who is two-years-old, is ready to get started. While he is rarely shown off on social media-- especially on Drake's page-- Adonis popped up this morning to show off his back-to-school drip. Ditching his blonde curls, the toddler got his hair styled in cornrows for the special occasion. He is seen standing on the sidewalk in front of a black SUV, wearing a Chrome Hearts 'fit that any hypebeast would run for at the store. He completes the confident look by looking at the camera with tons of attitude. Clearly, Adonis is following in his father's footsteps, caring for his appearance and making sure he stays clean at all times. We're honestly surprised he didn't decide to get decked out in some Certified Lover Boy x Nike merch for the grand back-to-school occasion. Take a look at the most recent picture of Adonis. 20. Throughout her run at the U.S. Open, Naomi Osaka has been raising awareness. The 22-year-old tennis champion is a soft-spoken sports star, but she promised to bring to light social justice issues affecting the Black community to a tennis world that rarely sees people of color. Last week, she began by wearing a face mask with Breonna Taylor's name and shared that she had at least seven others honoring people who had lost their lives to police brutality or racism. Since that time, Naomi Osaka has donned face coverings for Trayvon Martin, George Floyd, and Ahmaud Arbery, and it hasn't gone unnoticed by family members of the deceased. Al Bello / Staff / Getty Images At the U.S. Open, Naomi Osaka was surprised with a video of Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon Martin's mother, and Marcus Arbery Sr., Ahmaud Arbery's father, both thanking her for honoring their late sons. After viewing the clip, the shy sports star called the parents "strong" and added, "I'm not sure what I would be able to do if I was in their position but...I don't know. I feel like I'm a vessel at this point in order to spread awareness and hopefully—it's not gonna dull the pain—but hopefully, I can help with anything that they need." "Nothing takes away the pain," she added. Watch the video below. View the full article
  21. The 2020 Election is quickly approaching, which means our timelines and newsfeeds are cluttered with the political opinions of just about everyone. It already seems as if this election cycle has been carrying on forever, but as we're just two months away from electing America's next President of the United States, campaigns are intensifying. Celebrities are coming forward with their views on who they'd like to see helm the position as the Commander-in-Chief, including Snoop Dogg. The rapper has vocalized his distaste of incumbent President Donald Trump, and on Tuesday (September 8), he reiterated his position along with a few notes for those who have been eyeing the Oval Office. Frazer Harrison / Staff / Getty Images "So, me and my homeboys sittin' up here talkin' about all the people that President Trump disrespected," said Snoop Dogg. "Women, gays, transgenders, Blacks, Mexicans, Asians, and now veterans. Hm. Seems like he's disrespecting every color in the world and everything that ain't what he is, which is a racist." "With that being said, the people that voted for him got exactly what they wanted. They gave them what he said he was gon' do," the rapper added. 'So, the next motherf*cker, you better tell us what we gon' get for your vote. You better show up and deliver, period. We just want some peace, love, equality, and tranquility for everybody. 22. The Bel-Air drama has landed a home, and a new generation of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will make its way to airwaves. Last month, there were rumors that the Bel-Air drama that reimagines the popular comedic serious with a more solemn approach was in talks to becoming a full-length series. It all turned out to be true, and the series, based on Morgan Cooper's famed fan film, has been dubbed as a "reinterpretation" of the 1990s sitcom where viewers will explore deeper interpersonal relationships and conflicts with the characters. Will Smith, the Fresh Prince himself, announced that Peacock has acquired the hourlong series for two seasons. Bel-Air will be produced by Will and wife Jada Pinkett Smith's Westbrook Studios along with Universal Television. Will shared the good news with Morgan Cooper in a video he posted to social media. “We have just officially closed the deal with Peacock with an unprecedented two-season-order from a pitch,” Smith said. “I’ve been in this business for thirty years and that does not happen. They ordered two full seasons of Bel-Air based on the quality of the pitch and the work that you guys have done. So I want to say congratulations. I am hyped.” In the caption to his video over on Instagram, Smith praised Cooper's original film. "Everybody sent it to me. It was outstanding. I had NEVER envisioned revisiting the Banks family in this way." Check out his post below and let us know if you're excited to see the upcoming Bel-Air drama. View the full article

  25. In a video she shared to her Instagram page, Cyn Santana said she's feeling a "mother's rage." On Tuesday (September 8), an audio clip leaked of Cyn and her ex-fiancé Joe Budden where she accuses him of physical abuse. Joe denied the allegation, but that hasn't stopped the public from speaking out about the audio, especially because it comes just days after the podcast host's other ex, Tahiry Jose, made her set of accusations. According to Tahiry, Joe broke her nose and pushed her down the stairs years ago when they were together. Budden would later call Tahiry a "clout chaser" and a liar. Dimitrios Kambouris / Staff / Gettty Images Cyn Santana has finally come forward to address her audio leak, although her greatest concern was the well-being and mental health of her son. In her IG video, a visibly angry Cyn said she would do anything to protect her child, especially because she lost her brother to suicide. "So, it's not secret that Joseph and I broke up over a year and a half ago. It's no secret," Cyn said. "We're in the public eye, we're in the limelight, we're public figures... My family is a real family with real blood in their veins. With a heart. With a mental. We're still human beings." She also stated that just because they are public figures, doesn't mean she owes the world an explanation of what happens in her personal life. "We have the right to privacy. We have the right to deal with whatever it is that we deal with on our own time," Cyn continued. She said that during her time of postpartum, breaking up with Joe, and being at her most vulnerable, she confided in someone she considered a "sister" that seemed as if they were trying to help her. However, Cyn said that person violated her privacy, Joe's privacy, and her son's privacy, so it's made her upset. The reality star added that Joe is a wonderful father to their son and that everyone just needs to mind their business. Check out the nearly-10-minute video below. View the full article
