  1. Over the past 20 years, fans have come to love the Air Jordan 13 which is one of the last sneakers Michael Jordan got to wear as a member of the Chicago Bulls. While it may not the most popular Air Jordan silhouette, it is definitely one of the stronger ones thanks to its peculiar shape and ability to house various unique and interesting colorways. Throughout 2020, we have seen plenty of Jordan 13s make it to the market, and now, yet another is about to enter the fray. The Air Jordan 13 "Lucky Green" looks like a shoe that would be perfect for any Boston Celtics fan, as you can see from the official photos below. The shoe has a mostly white leather upper all while green nubuck appears on the mudguard, as well as the back heel. It's a colorway that won't be for everyone although it is definitely stylish enough for those who could use some green in their lives. As for the release date, you can expect to pick these up as of September 26th for $190 USD. Keep it locked to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you more sneaker news in the future. 2. Bronny James Jr. has certainly been making waves over the last year or so and it has everything to do with his talents out on the basketball court. Of course, being the oldest son of LeBron James is going to make people pay attention to you, however, you also need to have the skills to keep that attention. So far, that's exactly what Bronny has done, as in his Freshman season with Sierra Canyon, he impressed scouts and left plenty of room for improvement for his Sophomore run. Bronny typically showcases his talents on social media, and recently, he has been in the gym trying to perfect his game. James has shown quite a bit of prowess when it comes to dunking the ball and in his latest clip, he shows off exactly what he can do. As you can see, Bronny pulls off a perfect windmill dunk that will certainly have you reminded of his dad. It's been an exciting time for the young basketball star as he recently signed to Faze Clan where he will be a content creator. Bronny streams on Twitch during his downtime and he has been able to build a significant fanbase as a result of his fame. Heading into next season, it will be fun to see how Bronny develops as a player with Sierra Canyon. View the full article
  3. Fans of the Air Jordan 12 have been eating well over the past few years as plenty of new colorways have been introduced onto the market. The Jordan 12 remains one of the more underrated Jordan silhouettes of all-time, although it's a pretty great one, especially considering the history of the "Flu Game" offering. Speaking of the "Flu Game," Jordan Brand is now getting ready to release a "Reverse Flu Game" colorway which certainly fits the spirit of the original, albeit with a twist. In some brand new detailed images from Instagram sneaker insider @hanzuying, we can see that the shoe features a mostly red upper while the leather hits on the side are black. This is a complete flip of the OG "Flu Game" which had a black upper and red leather on the sides. Overall, this is going to be an exciting colorway for many fans and we're sure it will sell well upon release. For now, this sneaker is being given a December 26th release date although this is subject to change, so stay tuned for any updates as we will be sure to bring them to you. As always, let us know what you think, in the comments below. Image via hanzuying Image via hanzuying Image via hanzuying View the full article
  4. It's no secret that Eminem holds LL Cool J in high regard, frequently singing the legendary emcee's praises. Now, in honor of LL's latest milestone -- the 30th anniversary of his fourth album Mama Said Knock You Out -- Eminem hit up Rock The Bells Radio to speak on the album's significance. Kevin Mazur/WireImage/Getty Images "'Mama Said Knock You Out' was, to me, such an unorthodox hit," praises Em. "It's another way to say that LL has been such an innovator, because for a song like that to be a hit, he was so raw on that song, that something like that could become a hit just changed the whole game. You didn't have to have a singy-pop hook to get on the radio And radio played the fuck out this song. To me, it was not even an attempt to make a hit. It was more like him getting shit off his chest. But the song was so good that you couldn't front on it, and it just became something that was so organic. It gives you chills man." From there Em introduces Slim Shady to the conversation, his high-pitched cadence sparking waves of nostalgia. "We celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of Mama Said Knock You Out," says Em, once Shady hands him back the reigns. "One of the reasons this album is so significant is because it was LL Cool J's fouth album, and to me it was his fourth classic in a row." He proceeds to name his favorite track from the project, "Eat 'Em Up, L Chill," inviting his maniacal alter ego to fire off a few of the track's noteworthy bars. "Shout to Marley Marl by the way," he continues. "The beat on this fuckin' song is crazy, and the way LL's rhyme schemes complement this beat and vice versa is incredible." View the full article
  5. President Trump may follow through with his recent assertion that he would ban TikTok if the Chinese-owned company was not sold to an American entity. The threat first circulated in early August, when Trump said TikTok would have until September 15th to be sold to an American corporation. Shortly after this time, the President issued two Executive Orders, both of which urged ByteDance (TikTok’s parent company) to sell off US assets. However, both orders allow more generous timelines for TikTok to be sold, with the first giving until September 20th and the second allowing up to November 12th— more than a week after the election. Drew Angerer/Getty Images The two foremost opportunities for TikTok to remain in operation involve two bids, one being a joint bid by Microsoft and Walmart, and the primary competing bid being an offer from computer software company, Oracle, and a small number of ByteDance shareholders. Still, the President has expressed limited interest in extending the deadline for the sake of granting more time for acquisition negotiations. He told reporters Thursday, “We’ll see what happens. It’ll either be closed up or they’ll sell it. So we’ll either close up TikTok in this country for security reasons, or it’ll be sold.” He continued, “I’m not extending deadlines, no. It’s September 15th. There’ll be no extension of the TikTok deadline.” This statement shoots down any hopes for a grace period TikTok may have had after China revised its technology export laws, just two weeks after Trump issued his second Executive Order. The President’s reasoning for using Tuesday as the deadline is not specified, but it remains the most consistently emphasized deadline to date. View the full article
  6. Pro wrestler and actor Stevie Lee is dead at the age of 54. Lee was best known as a mainstay on TNA Wrestling (now known as Impact Wrestling) under the moniker "Puppet the Psycho Dwarf." He was beloved for his wild and high energy antics, including pulling a gun on fellow wrestler Jeff Jarrett during a TNA storyline. In addition to his wrestling career, Lee was also an accomplished actor. He appeared in FX's American Horror Story, 2013's Oz the Great and Powerful, and most notably in 2010's Jackass 3D. The news was confirmed by the wrestler and actor's family in a GoFundMe page set up on Thursday to help with funeral costs. "Puppet has put smiles across the world with his hardcore attitude and lifestyle," the statement reads. "He is a legend in the art of Midget Wrestling. He needs our help to give him one last curtain call." The campaign has set a $5000 goal, with all donations going to Lee's brother Jim Richardson to cover funeral arrangements. Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images Lee was sadly only the first loss the wrestling world has suffered in this week alone. Barry Scott, the iconic announcer for TNA Wrestling, also tragically passed away yesterday morning. We send our thoughts to Lee's family during this difficult time. View the full article
  7. Coming into their second-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers, James Harden and the Houston Rockets were looking pretty good. They matched up well against the Lakers all season and they even took Game 1 to jump out to an early lead. However, all of this was quickly undone as the Los Angeles Lakers came back to win three-straight games, including Game 4 which went down last night. Throughout the match, Harden went to the free-throw for 20 shots although he only managed to score 21 points. This loss has put the Rockets on the brink of elimination and it seems as though the Lakers have this thing locked up. After the game, Harden faced reporters where he spoke about exactly what went wrong. As he explained, the Lakers played staunch defense and didn't give him many opportunities to take open shots. When asked if he should forced the issue more, Harden said there simply weren't opportunities for him to do so. On Saturday, Harden and the Rockets will have an opportunity to change the tide of the series and potentially make a comeback. Of course, the Denver Nuggets did just that to the Utah Jazz in the first round, so it is most certainly possible. Needless to say, the rest of the postseason is going to be an uphill battle for this Rockets squad. View the full article
  8. It's been over a year since Shy Glizzy dropped his last project, the Aloha EP, which might as well be an eternity for such a prolific artist. Having solidified a name for himself as a young boss, the Grammy-nominated rapper has been keeping busy with a slew of features and one-off singles, notably June's "Right or Wrong", featuring Lil Uzi Vert. Now, the D.C. rapper drops "Forever Tre 7", the first single from his forthcoming album Young Jefe 3, which is slated for release on September 18th. Perhaps disenchanted by label politics surrounding features, Glizzy opted to put on for one of his own in place of a big name for the lead single. The song features the new signee to his Glizzy Gang Records imprint under 300 Entertainment, fellow D.C. native NoSavage. Over a glistening beat from GBE producer 12Hunna (Chief Keef, Young Thug, Trippie Redd, Youngboy Never Broke Again), the two trade bars in an ode to loyalty that will surely be heard blasting through car windows in the DMV for weeks to come. 9. Luh Kel has had a quiet year. 2019's Mixed Emotions, which featured Lil Tjay and PnB Rock, introduced the world to the singer and established him as one of the exciting new up and coming talents in R&B. It led to a tour with Chicago's Polo G that kicked off with a hometown show in the singer's native St. Louis. Starting the year with a feature on Quando Rondo's QPac, Luh Kel has laid low since the release of one-off single Y.O.U. back in February. It looks like that time has been put to use productively as he returns with the first single from his upcoming full-length debut album with Cinematic Music Group, L.O.V.E. Luh Kel grabs Queen Naija to bring some feminine energy to the lowkey track, which features minimal pop production from Fort Worth, Texas based producer Morgan Matthews. The breezy song could easily be a reference track for Justin Bieber, which seems to hint at the crossover pop sensibilities Luh Kel might have in store with his new album. At only 18 years of age and already evolving, it looks like the young singer and songwriter's upcoming album may be the one to launch him into the mainstream. L.O.V.E. is slated for release later this year. Check out "Want You" and let us know what you think. 14. The double homicide of two Kenosha protestors continues to polarize this political season in the United States. Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, armed himself with an AR-15-like weapon as he patrolled the streets of Kenosha, Wisconsin in the middle of a protest. The teen claimed he was defending businesses against looters, but when confronted, he killed one man and after another attempted to stop him from hurting others, he shot and kill that person, as well. Another victim was shot, but they survived their injuries. Some have called Rittenhouse a hero as they claim he was acting in self-defense, and President Donald Trump received backlash after he told reporters Rittenhouse "probably would have been killed" had he not fired his weapon. Pool / Getty Images Donald Trump Jr. is on a mission to get his father re-elected, and he recently sat down with Extra TV to discuss his book, Liberal Privilege: Joe Biden and the Democrats Defense of the Indefensible. During the conversation, Trump Jr. was asked about the current ongoing protests that have not only swept the country but the world. “The phrase 'Black Lives Matter,' do you understand what that means and what the fight is for it?" Trump Jr. was asked, He replied, “Of course. And I agree with it... It’s a very good marketing message, it's a great catchphrase, but that doesn't back up a lot of the political ideology behind it.” He was also asked why President Trump didn't meet with Jacob Blake's family when he visited Kenosha. Blake was reportedly paralyzed when he was recently shot seven times by police. "He called and he wanted to call and speak to them. They wanted to make sure legal counsel was present, and I don't know what that has to do with Donald Trump," Trump Jr. said. The host asked, "But why hasn't the Trump Administration or President Trump condemned what happened in Kenosha with Kyle Rittenhouse... coming across state lines and... murdering two people and injuring another [at a protest]?” Trump Jr. said that his father, along with the administration, is waiting for more information about the case. “We're waiting for due process. We're not jumping to a conclusion," said Trump Jr. "If I put myself in Kyle Rittenhouse['s shoes], maybe I shouldn't have been there. He's a young kid. I don't want young kids running around the streets with AR-15s... Maybe I wouldn't have put myself in that situation. Who knows? We all do stupid things at 17.” The host added that Rittenhouse's actions were "a little beyond stupid." Watch the exchange below. View the full article

  16. He may have dodged criminal charges in the case against him, but that doesn't mean that Jussie Smollett isn't still facing a legal battle. It was in January 2019 when the actor told Chicago police that he was the victim of a racially-motivated, homophobic attack in the wee hours of the morning. A scandal would soon unravel with new twists at every turn. Two brothers, Abel and Ola Osundairo, were arrested and accused of being apart of a hoax created by Jussie himself, but Smollett has continued to refute the allegations that he staged the attack for recognition. Alberto E. Rodriguez / Staff / Getty Images Still, the incident caused havoc in Jussie's life and soon, he was cut from the hit show Empire where he spent seasons portraying Jamal Lyon. While he's remained relatively silent about the event, the City of Chicago has filed a lawsuit against the actor because they claim he wasted resources. In a recent Instagram Live interview with Marc Lamont Hill, Jussie Smollett says his current state of affairs "has been beyond frustrating" and "difficult" as he tries to navigate life post-controversy. "I've just been wrapped up in some form of the case approaching two years," he said. "Sometimes I wake up in the morning and I, you know, am so angry. There are other times I wake up and I can see the silver lining." TMZ shared a report that the City of Chicago has requested information from the FBI ahead of Smollett returning to court on Thursday (September 10). A court could end the legal drama within 24 hours, but Jussie Smollett isn't holding his breath. “They won’t let this go," he said. "The sad part is that there is an example being made of someone who did not do what they’re being accused of.” Check out the hourlong chat with Smollett, Angela Davis, and Aislinn Pulley below. 17. The last few months have been a rollercoaster for Tamar Braxton. The in-your-face singer has a big personality that has won over the hearts of fans, but behind-the-scenes, Tamar has been struggling emotionally. She reportedly attempted suicide months ago, but she recovered and thanked her family, friends, fans, and fiancé for remaining by her side. However, days ago, reports circulated that David Adefeso, Tamar's fiancé, had filed a restraining order against her. Quickly, "sources" came forward with a story of their own, accusing Adefeso of physically assaulting the singer. Now, Adefeso has addressed those accusations on Instagram Live and he denies that he's ever physically confronted Braxton. "What was said about me grabbing Tamar or anybody else, it is a complete and absolute falsehood," David Adefeso said. "I've never, ever, ever, and never will put my hand on a woman. Ever... I'll speak the truth, and here's the truth. I've been a victim of domestic violence, domestic assault. A blow to my neck, my jugular. That's what carried blood to your brain. When you're hit there, it discombobulates you. I thought I was gonna crash. It happened when I was driving fast." Adefeso said that he then called his mother and later learned that after he was allegedly hit, he was "being secretly recorded." He claimed that the tapes of the recording had been distributed to his family "and other people" and that there was $30K worth of damage done to his Rolls Royce. After sharing his story, Adefeso said he couldn't say much else because the police are involved due to the illegal recording and the damage to his property. Since the Live, Adefeso has continued to be labeled as an opportunist by Tamar's fans, but he is adamant that he's telling the truth. Check it out below. View the full article

  19. We may never know how Kanye West's mind works, but whatever is going on upstairs has helped make the rap mogul one of the most influential figures in modern history. Kanye West may be called "crazy" by his detractors, but his creativity has set him apart from other artists since the launch of his career. Along the way, Ye has made and lost friends, and his relationship with Drake continues to be a point of discussion for hip hop fans. Roy Rochlin / Stringer / Getty Images Over the years, we've heard about what led to the demise of Drake and Kanye's friendship. Drake sat down with Rap Radar and explained that Kanye's involvement with Pusha T and the revelation of Drake's son, Adonis, was the nail in the coffin. Drizzy stood firm on the fact that he didn't believe his relationship with Ye could be rectified, but Kanye has spoken out about wanting to be friends with Drake once again. It looks as if Kanye West still has Drake on his mind because he decided to pin a retweet of a young Drizzy to his Twitter page. XXL shared a video of a teenaged Drake rapping along to The Fugees' hit track "Ready or Not," and Kanye decided to repost the clip. He didn't offer up any insight as to why he, personally, wanted to draw attention to the "Laugh Not Cry Later" rapper, but maybe this is his subtle olive branch. 20. The 1999 MTV VMAs captured a moment in pop culture that has gone down in history. It was then that Mary J. Blige and her friend Lil Kim were sharing the award stage together as they introduced music icon Diana Ross. Kim was dressed in her show-stopping purple outfit that exposed one of her breasts aside from a strategic cover-up. When Ms. Ross made it to the podium, she gave both Mary and Kim hugs, but she tapped the pint-sized rapper's breat before addressing the audience. The Queen Of Hip Hop-Soul recently sat down with Andy Cohen for Watch What Happens Live and was asked to share her thoughts about other R&B divas that she's worked with or knows personally. She spoke about Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Aretha Franklin, and then, Lil Kim. "My baby girl, my little sister," Mary said of the latter. "I mean, one of the most incredible female rappers to open the door for so many women. She's a trailblazer and one of the biggest rappers [and] most respected rappers in the business." It was then that Andy Cohen brought up that boob-touching MTV moment and asked Mary J. Blige what was going through her mind at the time. "I was embarrassed for Kim and I was pissed when that happened because that's my little sister and my friend," said Blige. "Kim is courageous. She's gon' do what Kim does so I think we all should respect it like we should respect Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj and Cardi . Respect Lil Kim. This is what they do. Respect them." Controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine recently sat down with Logan Paul on his Impaulsive show to discuss his court cases and internet beefs, and now he's returned to talk with TheShadeRoom for an intimate chat about everything that has given the rapper scandal over the last few years. During the lengthy discussion, 6ix9ine addressed his relationship with Sara Molina, the mother of his daughter. The rapper has openly accused Molina of having sex with a number of his friends and multiple members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. He explained that he began to suspect his former friend and manager Shotti of being involved with Sara Molina after he tricked Shotti and went through his messages. He saw that Sara and Shotti had been messing around with each other and said he had a hard time reconciling that his "best friend" and "brother" was "sleeping with [my] girl." "I give him back his phone and he's smiling in my face. That sh*t crushed me," 6ix9ine said. He later confronted Sara about her relationship with Shotti and admitted that they'd had physical, violent altercations throughout their yearslong relationship. After learning that Sara had allegedly slept with a few of his friends, 6ix9ine said he denounced Nine Trey and fired everyone. He added that he wasn't concerned with Sara Molina having a sexual relationship with someone as much as he was hurt that she was sleeping with his best friend and people he considered to be close to him. 22. The leaked audio of Joe Budden and Cyn Santana continues to cause controversy. In the audio, Cyn accuses her ex-fiancé of "dragging" her, and due to the recent allegations of domestic abuse by Budden's other ex Tahiry Jose, the podcast host was called out on social media. He denied the claims from Tahiry and Cyn, and Cyn shared a video where she told the public to mind their business as her main concern was the protection of her family and her son. Later, Joe Budden came forward with a video of his own where he accused his ex-Love & Hip Hop co-star Raqi Thunda of being the person responsible for leaking the audio. Raqi and Joe's tumultuous friendship has existed for years, and now they're at odds once again, as she has repeatedly come forward to deny her involvement in his current scandal. To add to her defense, Raqi posted a series of screenshots allegedly between herself and Budden from 2019. She wrote a lengthy caption alongside the post where she claims that Joe Budden wanted her, as his friend, to keep tabs on Cyn. It was something that Raqi claimed Joe asked her to do after all of his relationships failed. "YOU asked me to manage Cyn after your breakup because you thought I would help you keep tabs on her movement like where she was and who she was keeping company with. When I made it clear that as a friend to both of you I wouldn't be involved with putting her in a dangerous position to feed you info that will put you in a position to lose what you were working for because you're a known loose cannon that's when you lost your sh*t." Raqi added, "As a woman I chose to no longer play wingman to you toxic relationships and made the choice to sacrifice me time, money, and resources to help Cyn because lord knows it was desperately needed in multiple ways!" 23. Frank Herbert's 1965 novel Dune is more than just the world's best selling science fiction novel. It is an ambitious and legendary work with an enthusiastic fanbase and movie executives have been trying to translate that magic to the silver screen for years with little success. After Alejandro Jodorowsky failed to adapt the film in the 1970s and David Lynch's 1984 adaptation failed commercially and critically, the prospects of a new Dune film that did justice to the revered source material seemed cursed at best. Now, Academy Award-nominated director Denis Villeneuve brings Dune back to the big screen and this time, it looks like the cinematic tour de force that fans deserve. With Timothée Chalamet leading an ensemble cast (including Zendaya, Jason Mamoa, and former WWE wrestler Dave Bautista, among others) amidst a haunting rework of the classic Pink Floyd song "Eclipse" courtesy of blockbuster mainstay Hans Zimmer, the film looks like the sort of epic blockbuster that will surely dominate the winter. Huge space sandworms, massive battle scenes, breathtaking landscapes, and the sheer caliber of talented associated with this project suggest that the source material is in very capable hands. 24. Ever since a strange Twitter rant that was allegedly done under the influence of acid (according to Azealia Banks) caused him to be investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Elon Musk story has been getting progressively stranger and stranger. After giving his first born child an unusual numerical name that violated California law, one can hardly blame NLE Choppa for his belief that Musk is actually a space alien. Now the garish exec finds himself known for yet another larger than life story. Bloomberg's Billionaires Index reported the largest single-day loss ever, with Musk losing approximately $16.3 billion USD. The news comes after Tesla stock plummeted by 21 percent, amounting to about a $80 billion drop in market value, far more than the combined value of General Motors Co and Ford Motors Co. According to the New York Times, Tesla was recently excluded from the S&P 500 index, which measures the stock performance of 500 large companies, contributing to their falling share prices. Shareholders have long been wary of Musk's impetuous decisions and statements and this news isn't likely to alleviate these concerns. Still, despite the 21% percent drop on Tuesday, Tesla shares rose by 295% this year following the company's first reported annual operating profit in 2019. 25. The deal between McDonald's and Travis Scott is unprecedented as the fast-food chain has given themselves a full-blown hip hop makeover. Travis Scott and Mickey D's have partnered for their Cactus Jack collaboration; a move that features Travis's own Quarter Pounder meal and an extensive, exclusive merchandise collection. The unveiling for both the food items occurred within the last few days, and fans have been storming McDonald's restaurants across the continental U.S. in hopes of stocking up on as much Cactus Jack swag as they can. As expected, social media users have shared photos and videos of themselves sitting in drive-thru lines as people have been following McDonald's' instructions by saying "It's lit" after placing an order. One fan captured Scott's attention after he posted a photo of himself in the hospital enjoying a Cactus Jack value meal. "No better way to fight cancer than having a #TravisScottmeal on my birthday @trvisXX," he wrote as the caption. It was a moment that touched Travis Scott's heart. "Ur my hero!!!! Anyway If I can make ur day better makes me happy !!!" the rapper stated. "Imma try to get something up there to u kiddo." Check it out below. View the full article
