  1. Lil Wayne has canceled his performance for the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. fight, originally scheduled for Saturday night, due to "unforeseeable circumstances." Jeff Schear / Getty Images "Due to unforeseeable circumstances I won’t be performing tonight at the Tyson/Jones fight," Wayne wrote on Twitter. "Hope the event is still a success and much love to Triller." Wayne did not expand on the circumstances resulting in his absence, but earlier this month, he made it clear he was excited to be able to perform during the event: "This event is going to go down in history, no doubt. I'm grateful to be a part of it and share the arena with two living legends. I'm stoked to perform and give the fans something they can rock to," he said in a statement. Friday, Wayne released his new mixtape, No Ceilings 3. The 20-track project, which features appearances from Drake, Young Thug, and more, had fans feeling nostalgic after downloading it through DatPiff. French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, and YG are still expected to perform during the event, and TMZ reports that Snoop Dogg will replace Wayne. Snoop confirmed the news on his Twitter with a link directing fans to where they can live stream the performance. [Via] View the full article

  3. The Denver Broncos will reportedly be without a quarterback for tomorrow's matchup with the New Orleans Saints, after a COVID-19 outbreak which is affecting every QB on the roster. Kevin C. Cox / Getty Images ESPN's Adam Schefter broke the story on Twitter, Saturday: "All the QBs on the Broncos' roster are ineligible to play Sunday against the Saints after being deemed high-risk, close contacts, sources tell ESPN." The Broncos will not forfeit the game. QB Jeff Driskel tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday. QB's Drew Lock, Brett Rypien, and Blake Bortles were all then placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list for coming into contact with Driskel while not wearing a mask. During the coronavirus pandemic, any newly signed players would need to pass a series of tests before becoming eligible, meaning the Broncos will be unable to sign a temporary quarterback before Sunday afternoon. "One possible QB: Kendall Hinton," Broncos beat reporter Mike Klis theorized on Twitter. "He's on Broncos practice squad as WR but he was a three-year starting QB at Wake Forest. (Won't be coach Rob Calabrese. League won't allow, I'm told)." Rookie WR Jerry Jeudy threw his own name in the hat on Twitter, Saturday: "Guess ima have to get my Lamar Jackson on." 4. Jay-Z is set to produce an adaption of Dwayne Alexander Smith’s novel Forty Acres as a new project for Netflix. Brian Ach / Getty Images Forty Acres follows a civil rights lawyer who uncovers a vast conspiracy in a story which tackles issues of race and power. The book was originally published in 2014 and won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work - Debut Author. Smith will be joining as an executive producer along with Mike Epps and others. Luke Cage creator Cheo Hodari Coker will also be working on the project. The film has been described as a cross between Jordan Peele’s Get Out and Tom Cruise’s 1993 film The Firm. Jay-Z has previously worked with Netflix on its upcoming film The Harder They Fall, for which he also served as a producer. The film is a Western starring Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, and Lakeith Stanfield. James Lassiter, who also produced The Harder They Fall, is joining Jay on Forty Acres as well. Earlier this week, Jay-Z tied Quincy Jones for the artist with the most GRAMMY nominations in history. Both artists have been nominated 80 times. Beyoncé is just one nomination behind her husband and Jones with 79 total nominations. [Via] View the full article
  5. A new temporary ban on contact sports in Santa Clara County has left the San Francisco 49ers without a field to both play and practice for the next several weeks. The order is the newest attempt to control the coronavirus in the area. Thearon W. Henderson / Getty Images "All recreational activities that involve physical contact or close proximity to persons outside one's household, including all contact sports, will be temporarily prohibited," the order said. "People can continue to engage in outdoor athletics and recreation where social distancing can be maintained at all times." The 49ers are currently scheduled to play home games during the ban on Dec. 7 against the Buffalo Bills and Dec. 13 against the Washington Football Team. "[This] will temporarily suspend activities that require direct physical contact or interaction in Santa Clara," James Williams, counsel for Santa Clara County, said. "So, that means that for those teams, they will not be able to play games or have practices where they have direct contact within the county." The 49ers have not announced how they will handle the news. The NFL has dealt with numerous coronavirus setbacks throughout the season, including the postponement of a Thanksgiving game, earlier this week. Stanford and San Jose State's football teams, as well as the NHL's San Jose Sharks, will also be affected by the new guidelines. [Via] View the full article
  6. Former President of the United States Barack Obama's new book, A Promised Land, has recorded the most first-day sales for a work published by Penguin Random House, the publishing company announced this week. Jamie McCarthy / Getty Images A Promised Land sold 887,000 units across the U.S. and Canada on its first day of release and 1,710,443 units in its first week on shelves. The memoir went on-sale November 17. "There’s no feeling like finishing a book, and I’m proud of this one," the former President wrote on Instagram in September. "I’ve spent the last few years reflecting on my presidency, and in A Promised Land I’ve tried to provide an honest accounting of my presidential campaign and my time in office: the key events and people who shaped it, my take on what I got right and the mistakes I made, and the political, economic, and cultural forces that my team and I had to confront then—and that as a nation we are grappling with still." While promoting the new book, Obama has made a press run, which included an appearance on The Breakfast Club. After the interview, the former President faced controversy for his explanation for why Hispanic voters support for Donald Trump increased in 2020. A follow-up to A Promised Land is planned, but no release date has been announced. [Via] View the full article
  7. Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner and two coaches tested positive for COVID-19, Saturday, a day after the team's matchup with the Baltimore Ravens was postponed. Julio Aguilar / Getty Images The NFL's COVID-19 protocol dictates that Conner will miss at least 10 days unless he tests negative twice for the coronavirus before then. He will likely miss next Sunday's game against The Washington Football Team as well. Second-year running back Benny Snell Jr. is expected to start in Conner's place. Additionally, the team's special teams coach, Danny Smith, and quarterbacks coach Matt Canada have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and will miss Sunday's game. Earlier this week, the Steelers and Ravens were originally scheduled to play on Thanksgiving, but the game was postponed after numerous players from both teams were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson was among those to test positive for COVID-19. The postponement of the matchup was far from the first NFL game to be postponed as a result of a coronavirus outbreak this season. In October, the league was forced to reschedule eight games after an outbreak of COVID-19 impacted several teams at once. The Steelers and Ravens will now play on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 8:00 PM. 8. Youngs Teflon is an OG in the game. After emerging in 2010, he's cemented his status in UK's rap scene through each feature and release under his belt. Call Of Duty 1 and 2, both released in the early 2010s, became staples in his catalog. And with the PS5 officially out, there was no better time to return to form with the third installment in his mixtape series. The rapper's new project in stacked with 15 songs and total with little guest appearances. Dave makes an appearance on "Rule Of Two" while RV teams up with Teflon on "Bally Bop." Other collaborations on the project come from K Trap and Tiny Boost. Peep the latest offering from Youngs Teflon below and sound off in the comment section with your favorite track. 9. Highbridge The Label has been killing things over the past few years, largely due to the success of A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. However, his commercial success has provided a bigger platform for the artists that he's riding with. Don Q might not be poised for a number one single but he's evidently someone who takes pride in keeping his pen sharp. This week, he returned with his latest single, "Subliminal." The rapper flexes his lyrical muscle on this one while taking cues from Brooklyn's budding drill sound that's essentially proliferated across NYC. It's another banger from Don Q that hopefully serves as an indication that he has a new project up his sleeve in the near future. It's been two years since he released, Don Season. 10. During the NBA All-Star weekend this year, Jordan Brand came out with the Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 in two distinct colorways. For those who don't know, the Hi '85 is the true OG variation of the High-Top Air Jordan 1, as it features the same ankle cut Michael Jordan wore back in 1985. Jumpman brought back this subtle look as a way to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the silhouette, and as one might imagine, fans were excited to get their hands on some pairs. Since then, sneakerheads have been wondering which colorways would be next, and it seems like something is coming sooner rather than later. That something is the Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 in the "Neutral Grey" colorway. This is one of the vintage models of the Jordan 1 and it features a white leather upper with some grey on the Nike swoosh and on the cuff. In the Instagram post below courtesy of @zsneakerheadz, you can see exactly what the new offering will look like. Based on the comments, it seems like fans are already saving their money in anticipation of what should be a hyped, yet limited release. These are expected to drop early next year although a release date has yet to be announced. Stay tuned for all of the latest updates as we will be sure to bring them to you. View the full article
  11. The deluxe edition made a return this year in full swing. An album pretty much isn't real in 2020 unless it's accompanied by a deluxe edition about a week later. I'm not necessarily for this trend but in the case of Jim Jones' El Capo, I can not complain. The rapper returned with 15 new songs for the deluxe edition of his 2019 album which includes some pretty solid features. Fred The Godson makes two different appearances on the tracklist of Jim Jones' new deluxe album. With production handled by HeatMakerz, Jim Jones and Fred The Godson swap bars and flex their lyrical muscles while reminiscing on the hustle. Along with "Finito," Fred The Godson also appears alongside Axel Leon and Nino Man on "Bad Boyz." Rest In Peace, Gordo. 12. Florida rapper LBS Kee'vin has been making waves over the past couple of years as his melodic brand of hip-hop has certainly been well-received by music listeners. He continues to impress with his new releases, and recently, he decided to join forces with the likes of St.Louis artist Luh Kel for a brand new track called "Toxic." The subject matter here is exactly what you would expect as both artists trade bars about the women they are seeing and how the situations have gotten to be pretty toxic. With this subject matter comes some melodic singing from both of these guys as they are able to match each other's vibe. Give this track a spin and let us know what you think in the comments below. Quotable Lyrics: Pick up the phone, girl, I done called about a million times What's up with you? (What's up with you?) I'm down to ride and slide And I'd do anything, it's about you (Skrrt, skirt) I tried to leave you a couple times But girl, I'm stuck with you (Stuck with you) View the full article

Z Money makes an appearance on the deluxe with production coming from RonRon, TakeADaytrip and more. The group is setting out to embark on their solo careers in the coming year. The deluxe edition will surely hold fans down until they decide to drop off another project as a collective. Check the deluxe tracklist below. 22. Lurkin (prod. by RonRon) 23. 14. Thanksgiving weekend is the start of the holidays which pretty much means that the year is coming to an end. This year is a strange Thanksgiving, mind you. The coronavirus pandemic has prevented everyone from hosting their typical gatherings. Still, it's a time of rest and most rappers decided to take the weekend off from releasing any new music but not all of them. Three 6 Mafia legend Juicy J has been dropping off records throughout the year but on Friday, he unleashed his latest project, The Hustle Continues. An appropriate title than any, the new project from Juicy J marks his first since departing the major labels. With an array of features across the tracklist, the rapper takes a trip to LA with his Jay Rock and Project Pat on "MEMPHIS TO LA." It was a necessary addition to this week's Fire Emoji update. There's been a whole lotta talk about Whole Lotta Red which seems like it could arrive in the near future. Playboi Carti revealed that he turned his album into his label. While we wait for that, he made an appearance on Lil Yachty's new project alongside Future on "Flex Up." SAINt JHN is certainly on his way to doing big things. His new project, While The World Was Burning already included a feature from Kanye West. He unleashed another one called, "Smack DVD" this week. Check the latest update below. Follow HNHH on Spotify. 15. Tristan Thompson has been in the NBA for quite some time now as he was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers all the way back in 2011. Despite being in the United States for over 10 years now, Thompson had never officially become a United States citizen, although that all changed this past week as he was officially granted his citizenship. In the Twitter post below, Thompson can be seen accepting his citizenship in what proved to be a gratifying moment for the newest member of the Boston Celtics. “I came to the US on a student visa and have always had big dreams. I’m now truly living the American dream," he explained. Thompson moved to the United States back in 2009 where he got to play with the University of Texas. Now, Thompson is about to join the legendary Celtics on a two-year deal worth $19 million. Thompson has expressed his eagerness to play with the franchise and will be fun to see him in a brand new jersey, moving forward. As for Khloe Kardashian and their daughter True, they won't be moving to Boston although they will certainly be supportive from afar. Needless to say, Thompson has a lot to be thankful for right now. 16. Young Thug has undoubtedly been the most influential rapper of the 2010s. Between himself and Future, their imprint of trap music has birthed a new generation of music. But ultimately, who will carry their torch? It looks like Thugger's seven-year-old daughter Mego YSL has taken on the task. Last night, Mego released her debut single, "They Listen A Lot" and it's hard not to hear the similarities between herself and her father. She comes through with high-fashion references and a stretched out "Yessirski" as her father would over groovy production. Mego YSL is showing early potential that she'll be the one to carry her father's legacy. Perhaps, she becomes the first child star of YSL Records. Check out Mego YSL's new single "They Listen A Lot" below. 17. No matter how big of a figure French Montana becomes, his commercially charting singles will never overshadow the work he's put in through his mixtapes. The mixtape era was French's glory days and the Coke Boys mixtapes became a staple in French's expansive catalog. Last week, the rapper released the fifth installment to the mixtape series as his official debut as an independent artist with a tracklist stacked with appearances from Lil Durk, Pop Smoke, Jim Jones, and more. It was inevitable that a deluxe edition of the album would arrive sooner or later. The rapper quietly dropped the deluxe edition of the project with the inclusion of five new songs without a single feature attached. Shocking. Check out the deluxe edition of French Montana's new project below. View the full article
  18. 22Gz is one of the most prominent voices in the Brooklyn Drill scene and over the years, he has helped turn the subgenre into a worldwide phenomenon. With each new release, the Brooklyn artist helps expand his sound and fans are always interested in hearing what he has to say on a record. With his new track "Fallen Blixkys," 22Gz sees himself dedicating his art to some of his friends who have passed. "Long live Lou Blake, RIP Lil' Paint," 22Gz says before getting into the meat and potatoes of the song. Throughout the track, 22Gz paints a vivid picture as he dishes out some violent lyrics that certainly grab your attention. This is all done over a drill beat that will immediately catch your ears. 20. Today is a historic day for NCAA Football, specifically when it comes to Power Five conferences and the SEC. This is because Vanderbilt is fielding a female kicker in their game against Missouri. Sarah Fuller is a goalie on the women's soccer team and has been training with the team as a reserve field goal kicker. Due to COVID-19, the starting Vanderbilt kicker can't play today, which ultimately allowed for Fuller to suit up and take to the field on Saturday. So far, the team hasn't given her the chance to kick a field goal, so her skillset has yet to be seen. Of course, none other than Jason Whitlock had some negative things to say about the ordeal, as he claimed that Vanderbilt was simply doing this as a publicity stunt. He also said that the only reason why Fuller got her opportunity, is because Vanderbilt doesn't have their own men's soccer team to draw players from. Whitlock's comments were immediately met with scrutiny, as is typically the case with his takes. The former Fox employee has been known for his peculiar hot takes, and this was certainly no exception. In the tweets below, you can see exactly how people felt about what Whitlock had to say. 21. Dez Bryant was one of the best wide receivers in the NFL during his time with the Dallas Cowboys. Unfortunately, some injury issues forced him out of the game for a few years although now, he is back, this time with the Baltimore Ravens. A few weeks ago, Bryant officially signed to the Ravens as a member of their practice squad. After a few games in the 53-man rotation, Bryant has been upgraded to a full member of the team and as a result, he was rewarded with a new contract. Bryant celebrated this latest achievement on Twitter where he showed himself signing his brand new contract. "Officially signed to the 53... beyond thankful," he said with a big smile on his face. Bryant and the Ravens are expected to be real contenders as the season winds down although it's clear the AFC is incredibly competitive, which means the Ravens will need to be careful as they move forward with the season. As it stands, the team is being forced to postpone their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers until Tuesday, due to COVID-19. Regardless, Bryant is motivated to make the most of his new opportunity, and we can't wait to see him make some highlight-reel plays. Patrick Smith/Getty Images View the full article
  22. Popcaan doesn't stop working. The dancehall superstar has been delivering a steady stream of music this year, even after the release of Fixtape. The rapper's latest project served as his latest under the OVO umbrella with appearances from Drake and PartyNextDoor. Throughout the summer, he offered even more vibes for the fans that soundtracked one of the most odd summers of all time. He hasn't stopped. This week, he teamed up with Frahcess One for his latest offering, "Brawlin." With a more aggressive vibe, the pair team up over the Sikario Riddim to deliver some new heat. The Unruly Boss has truly been killing everything he's touched this year and we're looking forward to see what he has in store in 2021. Peep "Brawlin" ft. Frahcess One below. View the full article
  23. Memphis artist and Young Dolph associate Key Glock has been dropping banger after banger over the past few years and whenever he drops a new track, his fans get very excited. It's easy to see why as the artist embraces the sounds of his city, all while adding his own unique flavor to the equation. His latest song "Never Change" is yet another solid release as he comes through with some menacing energy on top of hard-hitting production. The track is all about his rise in the music industry and that while he has more money than he did before, he will never switch up on his friends and family. It's a noble sentiment that certainly makes for great content on this track. Check out the song below and let us know what you think. Quotable Lyrics: Shoutout my gang, shoutout my label, uh Bitch I do my thang, I do my thang while y'all just hating I'm ballin' like a laker, I'm cutthroat I might trade em' I'm sippin' smokin' flavors, goin' up like elevators I mean escalators, killers in the escalade View the full article
  24. Willie The Kid and V Don showcased their chemistry on plenty of occasions but 2017's Deutsche Marks proved just how fitting Willie's penchant for lyricism is to V Don's production style. They've continued to showcase this chemistry on plenty of occasions but the pair have reunited for the sequel. Stacked with 12 songs, the project is filled with pristine storytelling and grimey East Coast production with appearances from Vado, Eto, Flee Lord, and Jai Black. Check the tracklist below. 1) “Rare Sighting” 2) “Plum Wine” 3) “Mother Of Pearls” Feat. Eto 4) “Formula” 5) “Audubon Ballroom” 6) “Glass Shopping” Feat. 25. Ever since releasing Astroworld all the way back in 2018, Travis Scott has officially cemented himself as one of the biggest artists in the world. While he hasn't dropped a ton of new music in 2020, he has certainly made an impact thanks to his various deals with Nike, McDonald's, and even Sony. With the year coming to a close, Travis is looking to end things off strong and it seems like a track with Future and Lil Uzi Vert could very well be on the horizon. While taking to his Instagram story, Travis posted the song "DrankinN Smokin" which comes off of the Pluto x Baby Pluto collab tape from Uzi and Future. In the image posted below, Travis says "video OTW," which is a pretty good indicator that he will be involved in some fashion, with a verse being the most likely contribution. Pluto x Baby Pluto has received some mixed responses since it dropped although Uzi and Future fans seem to agree that the two make a good team with plenty of potential for great songs. With Travis joining the fold on "Drankin N Smokin," we are certainly in for a banger of a song. Stay tuned for updates on this future collab as we will be sure to bring them to you.
