  1. With the number of losses we've witnessed this year, Waka Flocka doesn't want people to be flippant about their final days. There have been shocking deaths that have occurred in the entertainment industry from rappers like Pop Smoke, King Von, Mo3, Chyna Rogers, and Lexii Alijai; to figures like Chadwick Bosmean, Alex Trebek, Bert Belasco, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Little Richard, Eddie Van Halen, and many others—in addition to the nearly 1.4 million people who have lost their lives to COVID-19 related illnesses. Tory Lanez turned to Twitter with a quip about what he expects at his memorial, but Waka Flocka wasn't having it. "At my funeral, I need one of my closest n*ggas to monitor the door," wrote Lanez. "Just to see certain n*ggas and be like 'nah nah nah he ain't even f*ck with u like that.'" He ended his joke with a couple of laughing crying emojis, but some people weren't chuckling along with him. Hollywood Unlocked shared the tweet and Waka Flocka slid in the comments to let Tory, and everyone else, know that death is nothing to make light of. "Stop playing with death like you can return back from it," said Waka. Tory's fans weighed in and agreed. Check out the posts below. View the full article

  3. Kanye West has delivered some pretty incredible sneakers over the years, and while his latest designs are certainly wild, there is no denying that he has no fear whatsoever when it comes to getting ambitious with his silhouettes. Perhaps his most universally beloved model to be released over the past year is the Adidas Yeezy Basketball QNTM which was originally released in limited quantities in Chicago during the NBA All-Star Weekend. Since that time, the sneaker received a re-stock, all while new colorways have made their way to the market. Now, according to Yeezy Mafia, the highly-sought-after OG colorway is getting yet another restock, and this time it will be happening in February of 2021. This will be a worldwide restock which means sneakerheads from all over the globe will be able to get their hands on a pair of shoes that escaped many when it was first released. As you can see in the post above, the shoe is categorized by its white and silver waves on the side panels, all while beige suede appears on the toe box. From there, we get black on the tongue and back heel all while the midsole is filled with Boost material. Stay tuned for updates on this restock as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates. View the full article
  4. It's no secret that Big Sean and Jhene Aiko are one of the cutest power couples ever (I will die on this hill). They prove that to fans on a regular basis, whether it be on Instagram or through their music. So, it's no surprise that Big Sean just shared an emotional post on Instagram, celebrating his fortunate life with Aiko, and their professional achievements. He shared a series of photos of him and Aiko, with a heartwarming caption stating how grateful he is. "It felt good to not have to think about anything but waking up and safely enjoying life for a few days!," he wrote. "We woke up one morning to @recordingacademy nominations and the Pacific Ocean n each other, and I am honored and grateful to live the life I do. Thank you!" Earlier this week, Big Sean was nominated for Best Rap Performance for his album, Detroit 2’s single, “Deep Reverence,” featuring the late, great, Nipsey Hussle. Aiko was nominated for Album of the Year, Best R&B Performance, and Best Progressive R&B Album, thanks to her latest project, Chilombo. Following the listing of the official nominations, the pair adorably congratulated each other on Twitter. "Congratulations baby," Aiko wrote, "Congrats to you baby! Well deserved," Sean returned. Despite the couple taking a break from their relationship back in spring 2019, their 2020 reunion has been a profound one that fans can't stop gushing over. View the full article
  5. Young Thug is a man of few words but when he does speak, he typically says something that turns heads, for better or for worse. This was especially true after he appeared on T.I.'s ExpediTIously Podcast, where he spoke on a whole plethora of topics with the likes of T.I. and even Benny The Butcher. At one point, the conversation landed on the legacy of Andre 3000, which led to some peculiar comments from the likes of Thugger. In the clip below, Thug can be heard saying "I can't rap you two Andre 3000 songs. I ain't never paid attention to him. Never in my life." T.I. eventually pressed him on the topic, noting that Thug even worked with Elton John and that he should pay homage to a legend like Andre 3000. Thug eventually interrupted with a fairly harsh assessment of the OutKast rapper. "But the difference between Elton John and Andre is, to simplify it, Elton John likes to kiss ass, and Dre likes his ass kissed. Elton John like "Hey! I like you, I remember your first song, I remember Gucci first song, when Guwop getting out?' He a fan type of n***a, to the point where I'm like 'let's do music,' and he's like 'n***a bet!' Andre more like, and this is his secretary 'ey, tell the n**ga it's Thug, n***a," the So Much Fun artist exclaimed. Thug's comments eventually went viral on social media, where hip-hop fans were pretty offended at what was being said. After all, Andre 3000 is a legend who ultimately paved the way for artists like Young Thug. In fact, many fans proved Thug wrong as they unearthed some clips in which Three Stacks was quite complimentary of the artist. Needless to say, Thug has created quite a stir with his Andre 3000 slander. Let us know your thoughts on the situation, in the comments below. View the full article
  6. Today, Busta Rhymes came through with another update to ELE2: The Wrath Of God, this time adding four new tracks on the official Deluxe Edition. And in what can only be described as a treat for the day one fans, Busta came through to gather the Flipmode Squad for the first time in decades for "Follow The Wave," a refreshingly vintage lyrical posse cut laced by the consistently reliable Nottz. Clocking in at a healthy six minutes and forty-five seconds, each emcee has ample space to breathe, from Rampage setting it off to Busta Rhymes closing things out. "Emerging like I'm a surgeon, see that's the way we do shit," spits Busta. "Microscopic glass in my eye, analyzing cancer / there's a chemical imbalance in the music but I got the answer." Based on the tier at which Bus is spitting, it's incredible to note how much energy and creativity he brought to the ELE2 sessions -- and for all we know, he's still got B-sides in the vault for safe-keeping. If you're looking for a dose of unfiltered bars from the Flipmode Squad, look no further than "Follow The Wave," and go support the Deluxe Edition in full right here. QUOTABLE LYRICS Microscopic glass in my eye, analyzing cancer There's a chemical imbalance in the music but I got the answer You have ta, embrace this lord and master Embrace the God and see the influence of what you're after See most of ya'll be the descendants of the open chapter So let me school ya'll on the craft that you supposed to master Heh heh, laughter -- celebrating a win View the full article
  7. Earlier this week, it was widely reported that the Baltimore Ravens were dealing with a team-wide COVID-19 outbreak involving numerous players and members of the coaching staff. Last night, it was revealed that even quarterback Lamar Jackson has been diagnosed with the virus, which ultimately added insult to injury. The Ravens were supposed to play the Pittsburgh Steelers last night, and instead, the game was pushed to Sunday. Now, with Jackson's diagnosis in mind, the NFL has postponed the game, once again. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the game will now be played on Tuesday night, which is certainly an odd date for a football game. Regardless, it's clear that this decision was made to benefit the health and safety of the players. This decision has major implications on the Thursday night game which was set to take place between the Ravens and the Cowboys. Now, this match will also have to be postponed, although a date has yet to be announced. COVID-19 has had a severe impact on the NFL season, and its clear teams will have to continue to be diligent, as the season progresses. Stay tuned for updates on this situation, as we will be sure to bring them to you. Julio Aguilar/Getty Images View the full article
  8. By now it's pretty clear what Bill Cosby is being accused of, leaving many split between two truths: believing their favorite TV dad is responsible for decades of sexual manipulation and assault, or he's the victim of a wider plot against Black men in America. Either way, Cosby is currently in the can and his team is working overtime to get his case appealed. How they're deciding to go about it is, well, questionable to say the least. Image: Mark Makela/Getty Images Bill Cosby's crisis manager and publicist Andrew Wyatt released a public announcement via Instagram earlier today, calling for all 53,000 of Dr. Huxtable's still-loyal followers to tune in and support the livestream of oral arguments presented by appellate attorney Jennifer Bonjean in front of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court next Tuesday (Dec 1). We respect their team's right to fight the case, but things got a little tricky when the video clip began including details about the Black Lives Matter movement, political issues pertaining to the election year and other world issues that actually affected us this year. Cosby's conviction for a crime we're preeetty sure he did is not one of those things in the least bit. Peep what Wyatt had to say in his longwinded plea for support in the Bill Cosby sexual assault appeal: "These aren't normal times. In this 21st century, we have witnessed the senseless murders of Black men and women at the hands of a few bad law enforcement officers — but not all. We have witnessed utter displeasure in our American political system. We have witnessed the unjust conviction and incarceration of a true American treasure and citizen, actor-comedian Bill Cosby, and we are witnessing a pandemic unlike anything we have seen in our lifetime. Along with my family and I, and Mr. and Mrs. Cosby, we are praying for your family's to continue to be safe and well during these difficult times." Again, not sure how any of those things apply to Bill's business, but good luck where it's due. Watch the clip below and let us know your thoughts down below in the comments: View the full article
  9. British singer-songwriter, Arlo Parks' latest single, "Caroline" just dropped with a paired lyric video, and to put it plainly, it's like a breath of fresh air for your ears. A break from her usual R&B-jazz-like vibe, "Caroline" steps into the realm of a more traditional singer-songwriter sound — borderline folk. Parks' gentle, warm, ethereal vocals laying on top of guitar strums that sound nearly borrowed from '90s alternative rock, are beyond dreamy and nostalgic. "Caroline is out on Monday!!!! It’s about love dissolving and first losses," Parks wrote on Instagram. Adding that in celebration of the song, she would be selecting fans for an exclusive zoom call. "To celebrate imma pick a bunch of you to chat to on zoom - you can ask me questions, we’ll hang out, sip some tea and chat. Sign up to the mailing list to be a part of it - it’s on the 26th of November so see some of you then." Listen to the full song below. Quotable Lyrics: Maybe if she took a breath She would know I did it all for her Agony and hints of sage Her eyes blind with disappointment I couldn’t recognize her face Shards of glass live in this feeling Have to somehow stop her leaving View the full article
  10. Zack Fox is one of the funniest comedians in the world and whenever he decides to come through with a new song, you know you're going to get some wild energy and hilarious bars. Father is another artist who Fox has worked with in the past and they always make a great duo. Sprinkle in some Working on Dying production into the mix, and you're destined to receive a great effort. This is exactly what happens on their new track "The Madness" as Fox and Father can be found over some atmospheric trap production. Fox starts and ends the track with a loud shouted chorus that features some hilarious lyrics about playing Nintendo Switch during sex. From there, Father is more subdued as he laces his voice in autotune, all while matching Fox's humorous content. Check out the track below, and let us know what you think. Quotable Lyrics: Tesla X space coupe, ooh, I smell broke in Tell my son go back into his room, there's some coke in here Talk about me but [?] there's some Locs in here Know you smell that (Ha), see them fumes, you might choke in here View the full article
  11. Busta Rhymes is still basking in the success of his latest studio album ELE2: The Wrath Of God, and it would appear he's not quite finished with it yet. In fact, only a few weeks after dropping the Reloaded version, Busta has come through with another expansion pack -- this time, following tradition with the proper deluxe edition. Boasting four new tracks in addition to those of the Reloaded, this latest features a monumental appearance from the entire Flipmode Squad, who reunite in full for the first time in 22 years on "Follow The Wave." It also marks the arrival of M.O.P's remix to "Czar," whose sampled vocals played a welcome role on the original cut. Closing the project out (that is, unless Busta decides to drop off a Deluxe 2.0) are a pair of new bangers, the triumphant "Blow A Million Racks" and the rapid-fire and tonally eclectic "Hey You." If you were among the many to declare ELE2: The Wrath Of God to be one of the year's best albums, you'll find plenty to enjoy in this new variation on the project. Especially if you look back fondly on the era when the Flipmode Squad was killing tracks -- what do you think about their reunion on "Follow The Wave?" View the full article
  12. The Dallas Cowboys had a massive opportunity yesterday as they took on the Washington Football Team in what should have been an enjoyable Thanksgiving matchup. Coming into this game, both teams were 3-7 although the winner would ultimately propel themselves to first place in the NFC East, which just goes to show how bad the division is. In the end, the Cowboys were blown out by a score of 41-16, which came as a huge disappointment to Cowboys fans all across the country. While Cowboys fans were distraught, there was one man who couldn't help but revel in their pain. Of course, that man is none other than Stephen A. Smith, who has a well-documented hatred of "America's Team." In the Twitter clip below, Smith walks in front of the camera and offers some replays that will make Cowboys fans cringe. Throughout the clip, Smith can be found maniacally laughing, all while rubbing salt in the wound. Smith was much more reserved on First Take this morning as he noted that he feels like there is a real chance the Cowboys can still win the division and make the playoffs. Regardless, Smith was adamant that the Cowboys are a disaster right now, and given their most recent result, it's hard to argue with him. Moving forward, the Cowboys will get to play the Baltimore Ravens next Thursday, in a game that should prove to be yet another tough test. 14. Jim Jones and The Heatmakerz released El Capo a year and a half ago. Now, they have returned with a re-up. El Capo Deluxe touches down this Thanksgiving, stuffings fans with an additional 15 tracks on top of the original 16. The massive project features appearances from Juelz Santana, Conway the Machine, Dave East, the late Fred the Godson, Cam'ron, Jadakiss, Benny the Butcher, Fat Joe, Trav, Curren$y, Vado, Nino Man, and more. The best thing about El Capo Deluxe is how gutter and grimey New York it sounds. You don't get this sound, and this mix of artists, together very often anymore. Jim Jones shows that although he comes from an era of music that isn't as popular as it once was, he still comes with that fire. 19. With every ode to Allen Iverson that is created, his legend only grows bigger. The Game decided to praise the insanely talented athlete by naming his latest single "A.I. With The Braids." Lil Wayne features on the single, which makes sense since both artists are known for their deep knowledge of sports. "A.I. With The Braids" features a delicious instrumental produced by Mike Zombie that sounds like something that may have been conceived in the early 2000s. The inspirational synth meshes with a jumpy percussion set up which really gives this single a bop that's hard to ignore. Wayne grabs the final verse of the track and blesses us with some of his vintage flows. Altogether, this song sounds good, and feels good to listen to. Plus, who doesn't enjoy watching A.I. get his roses? Quotable Lyrics Turn a gameday into a game night Turn a team fight to a gang fight A.I. with the gun door Point guard with the gun door Lil nigga with a A.K. look like A.I. with Mutombo Trap door, let my blood boil I'm his young bro from the N.O Like A.I. on some gumbo, gangsta on court and in court View the full article
  20. Young Thug lives in the booth, so he has the habit of dropping off bangers at random. That is the case here, as Thugger has appeared on Thanksgiving evening with "Take It To Trial" featuring Gunna and Yak Gotti. Produced by Wheezy, this single features an instrumental that straddles the line between chill and wild. It's a vibe all of its own; a track you can lay back in the cut to or throw chairs at the club to. Thugger does his thing on the hook but Gunna really steals the show on "Take It To Trial." Yak Gotti also shows that he can hang with the heavyweights, unleashing an entertaining verse of his own. We can envision this single being in heavy rotation well into 2021. Quotbale Lyrics My young niggas pulling up, Bentleys, Aston Martins, 'Raris and Teslas Strapped with a FN, choppas, carbons, know some steppers Got ice, not in no fridge, not in the safe, we like treasure We fuck, have a lot of sex and her head feel like pleasure Shawty super slurpy, suck that birky out that dick (Oh wow), ah Maybach came with curtains and I still went got it tint (On God) View the full article
  21. If you have more tracks in the vault, just drop a deluxe version! At least, that seems to be Lil Yachty's mindset. The young rapper has just dropped off Lil Boat 3.5, a bolstered edition of his Lil Boat 3 album. The project comes roughly 8 months after the original was released in March. For this round, Yachty includes a decent amount of new songs (eight in total) that feature appearances from, Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, Future, Vince Staples, Cochise, and Oliver Trees. The fresh batch of music is more than enough to keep his fans satiated until a new project hits. After a leak spoiled the project for many fans, Yachty took to social media to say, "I hope every leaker dies." However, we are sure fans of Yachty will support the legitimate release heavily. Stream Lil Boat 3.5 and let us know what you think about the project below. View the full article

  24. SAINt JHN set the globe on fire this past week with the release of his new album While The World Was Burning, which featured a pretty dope Kanye West feature. However, SAINt JHN took to Twitter to announce that he had another Kanye feature on the way. "That + The missing Kanye record + The right arrangement gonna be fixed next week," replied the singer to a fan asking about a song update that had yet to appear on Spotify. Lo and behold, the new Kanye and JHN track has arrived. Entitled "Smack DVD," the new track is a bass-heavy banger that finds Kanye rapping in a high-keyed auto-tune. 25. After such a rough year, it's heartwarming to see some good-spirited love and giving this season. Thanksgiving is a time for good food, great friends, and a loving family. It forces us to look back on the things we are thankful for, even if we don't believe in the holiday or agree with its origins. Thanksgiving tends to bring out the best in us, and A$AP Rocky was in the giving mood this turkey day. As reported by TMZ, the Harlemite returned to his roots to give out 120 Thanksgiving meals to less fortunate families. Rocky's gift was even more amazing due to the fact he blessed a homeless shelter that he and his mother once lived at. The Regent Family Residence is located on the upper east side, and is home to 83 families which include over 100 children. Rocky pulled up with meals from Amy Ruth's Restaurant, a Harlem favorite. Following strict covid-19 guidelines the entire time, Rocky acted as the delivery man on this hungry holiday. According to TMZ's sources, the shelter was so helpful in elevating Rocky and his mother that he felt a special need to give back to them this Thanksgiving. You love to see it. View the full article
