  1. It was a track that reached so far into pop culture sensationalism that Jack Black donned Speedos and completed its viral dance while being hosed with water, so it came as a surprise to hear that Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" didn't receive a Grammy nomination. The explicit No. 1 hit song made major waves across the globe as it became a viral sensation that people couldn't get enough of, but Cardi clarified that the track wasn't nominated for a Grammy because she didn't submit the single to The Recording Academy. Yesterday (November 24), someone accused Cardi of buying her last Grammy award so she got on Instagram Live to defend her accomplishment. "Stop playing with me. But um, like I said, I’m never pressed for a Grammy, but y’all are not gonna take away something that I know that I worked my ass off that I deserve. If I was pressed for a Grammy I would have submitted 'WAP' for this year. I didn’t submitted it. I didn't submitted it." Cardi added that she's not interested in being considered for awards—at least not before her next project is complete. "I didn’t want to be submitted to award shows until I put out my album because I think my album is so good, and it just means something and I worked on it a lot," said the rapper. "I’ve been working on it for almost two years." “Some songs are just so emotional to me because I did them during quarantine," she continued. "I’m not pressed or nothing, I’m not gonna keep doing this sh*t constantly, constantly because y’all are upset. Y’all cannot take my success." Watch Cardi B speak on her music career below. 2. If there's one thing capable of bringing the people together, it's the return of mixtape Lil Wayne. As it happens, it's about that time for his triumphant return, with Weezy confirming that his anticipated No Ceilings 3 would be arriving in full glory on Friday, November 27th. With DJ Khaled set to handle hosting responsibilities, it's sure to be an appropriately large-scale affair, a fact already evidenced by a few promising snippets -- including one that finds Young Money reuniting in a refreshing blast from the past. Ethan Miller/Getty Images And while some fans were admittedly annoyed with Lil Wayne following his support of Donald Trump, who ultimately went on to lose to Joe Biden in the recent election, it would appear that all has been more or less forgiven. After all, Mixtape Wayne doesn't come around too often, and when he does, you can bet he's liable to snap. And few can do so in such a compelling fashion as Weezy, a frequent contender for the coveted best rapper alive position. Honestly, his mixtapes played a prominent role in getting him there in the first place, so it should be interesting to see how No Ceilings 3 adds to the conversation. With the project only a few days away, we've collected some of the early reactions to the big reveal. Clearly, Lil Wayne can still get the people going, and don't be surprised to see Weezy topping all the trending topics when Friday and No Ceilings 3 roll around. Will you be tuning in? 3. Young Nudy has been quietly building one of the consistent catalogs in the game, managing to stay compelling without sacrificing his fondness for strange and whimsical production. Most recently, the Atlanta rapper came through with Anyways, a sixteen-track effort that picked up where 2019's back-to-back barrage of Sli'merre and Faded In The Booth left off. Scott Dudelson/Getty Images And while he's been slightly active in recent memory, having dropped off new singles like the Metro Boomin-laced "Vice City," the hard-hitting "Never," and the strange and off-kilter "All White," many have wondered Nudy was looking to end the year with another new album. After all, he's frequently made a habit of dropping two projects in a single year, and this flurry of singles seemed to indicate that Nudy has indeed been cooking up something truly diabolical. Lo and behold, it would appear that a possible name has arisen. One that seems in keeping with his mischievous and downright endearing brand of villainy. Responding to fanart depicting four distinct eras of Young Nudy, he proceeded to tease that Dr. Evil would be the most dominant of them all. A welcome homage to the classic Mike Myers character who originally made his debut in the 1997 comedy Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery. While it's unclear as to which of Dr. Evil's qualities spoke to Nudy on a personal level, perhaps we'll have a better idea whenver his next project rolls around. Will you be checking it out? 4. Good news (pun intended), Megan Thee Stallion released her album, Good News, last week, and with it, a viral music video to contend with her last Internet sensation, "WAP." The star-studded video for her latest single, "Body" has appearances by Jordyn Woods, Blac Chyna, and Taraji P. Henson. But what really caught everyone's attention was the intense, thigh-quaking choreography. It was only a matter of time before TikTokers got their hands on it and turned it into a major trend. Unsurprisingly, everyone and their mothers have now recorded themselves attempting the "Body" dance challenge, and let's just say, it is not for the weak. I digress. The video starts off with Meg sporting a scandalous, sheer, black unitard, black lipstick, and high heels that look impossible to walk in, let alone dance in. As the video progresses, more dancers are added to the mix. The one minute mark is where things really start to escalate though — outfit changes, celebrity cameos, and of course, the aforementioned synchronized choreography that TikTok can't seem to get enough of. The whole thing is — like her album — a masterpiece. It's really no wonder it went viral. Undoubtedly, she is on a roll right now. With the release of her new album, having her music video go viral, launching her own Fashion Nova line, getting texts from Beyoncé and Jay-Z, and yesterday's Grammy nomination, hats off to Hot Girl Meg. She is a force to be reckoned with. View the full article
  5. Playboi Carti truly is a different breed, a rare sort of artist that only comes around once in a generation. For one, it's difficult to ascertain whether a portion of his fanbase listens to his music ironically or with unyielding sincerity. Two, his output tends to receive universal acclaim, with some even going so far as to deem him the avant-garde GOAT. And three, people seem to be enamored with his baby-like cadence, to the point where songs like the lost "Pissy Pamper" become cult classics as a direct result of it. Steven Ferdman/Getty Images Regardless of how you might feel about the Die Lit auteur, whether you deem him the scourge of modern rap music or the chosen one set to usher in a new renaissance, it's impossible to deny the je ne sais quois surrounding Playboi Carti and his surefire means of moving the masses. And with the hype for his upcoming album Whole Lotta Red reaching a feverish pitch, Carti has done his part to stir the pot even further with a flurry of typically cryptic social media behavior. "LOVE ME NOW NOT WH3N IM DEAD," he Tweets, alongside a black-and-white picture. Shortly thereafter, he made a point to extend a greeting to both Post Malone and Pharrell, which naturally sparked further anticipation for his next move. It's hard not to view anything Carti does as a clue of sorts, so with that in mind, consider the possibility of both parties being involved with Whole Lotta Red to some degree. At this rate, perhaps we won't have to wait much longer for a proper answer. The only question is -- will you be tuning in? View the full article
  6. The Cool Kids MC, Detroit rapper, Chuck Inglish, just dropped his first single since signing with Warner Chappell Music, "Driver" featuring Ye Ali, who released his last project, Ye & Chill, back in 2018. You might call this a comeback, since it's the first track we've heard from Inglish in three years, aside from the brief appearance he made on "Pots and Pans" Boldy James, which featured The Cool Kids and Shorty K. Evidently, it was worth the wait. The beat itself gives off clear R&B and old school funk vibes — that, in combination with Inglish and Ali's smooth, modern flow made for the perfect recipe. Even some of the references peppered into the lyrics let listeners know what and who inspired this song. Keep your eyes peeled in the upcoming months, because if this is any indication, we're in for a lot more surprises from Chuck Inglish — at least we hope so. 7. By now, much has been made about The Weeknd's Grammy snub(s), whereupon neither "Blinding Lights" nor his After Hours album were recognized by the Recording Academy. In fact, The Weeknd actively took to Twitter to retaliate against the slight, accusing the organization of corruption among other unsavory claims. And while the fans were quick to mobilize behind the Canadian artist, one of his biggest votes of support arrived by way of Sir Elton John, who previously compared The Weeknd to the late, great Prince. Kevin Winter/Getty Images "In my humble opinion," prefaces Elton John, one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters in modern history, mind you. "'Blinding Lights' song of the year, record of the year." A massive co-sign, and one that should go a long way in dulling the sting of rejection The Weeknd is currently nursing. And rightfully so, given the nature of his pointed callout of the Grammys organization. And while it's likely that the rift between The Weeknd and The Recording Academy will take time to fully heal, it's still nice to see one of music's most iconic figures showing his support. Though The Weeknd isn't exactly hip-hop per se, this latest co-sign is but one of many instances that Elton John has pledged allegiance to the culture. His longtime friendship with Eminem is no secret. In 2006, he collaborated with Timbaland on the Shock Value album closer "2 Man Show." He provided vocals and piano on Kanye West's "All Of The Lights," and showed major love to Young Thug for his "Rocket Man" sampling "High." He also recently connected with Future in the studio, among other notable rap co-signs. Suffice it to say, Sir Elton is no stranger to the rap game. View the full article
  8. It's 42 Dugg's birthday and he's celebrating in a major way, dropping his latest single, titled "Free Me". The Detroit-based rapper has been one of the biggest names in rap over the last year, steadily rising under the tutelage of Yo Gotti and Lil Baby. Alongside Baby, he's behind one of the year's biggest songs, the hard-powered "We Paid". In the last few weeks, Dugg has been trickling out new music, dropping two singles ahead of his upcoming project. "Free Merey" introduced the new chapter for 42 Dugg, who continued his buzz with "Free Woo". Those two songs are dedicated to his incarcerated friends and will be included on the new project. He's also dealt with his fair share of legal issues, getting locked up (and actually learning to rap in solitary confinement!) for six years. With that, "Free Me", the latest record from 42 Dugg, was born. The track arrives on Dugg's twenty-sixth birthday and it serves as the perfect gift from him to all of us. Listen to the Antbeatz-produced single below. Quotable Lyrics: I'm from the Eastside, look up the street signs, we made it When Reecе died, I seen them real n***as was fakin' And I keep fivе hunnid in small bills for Baby Never turn my back on my brother, momma, I love you Half a million on a house, Val took care of me Real n***as winnin', bitch, so I took care of the streets View the full article

  10. Those familiar with the Detroit hip-hop scene probably know the name Marv Won, lyrically deadly member of the Fat Killahz and a prominent name in the battle rap circuit. Some eagle-eyed viewers may even remember him from an 8 Mile bonus feature battle, during which he went head to head with Eminem in a tilt that has since garnered half-a-million YouTube views. In fact, Marv recently held it down with an appearance on Math Hoffa's My Expert Opinion podcast, where he discussed his battle with Slim Shady at length. "Everybody that was an extra in that movie was a rapper in the city of Detroit," explains Marv. From there, his longtime collaborator Quest Mcody (also appearing on the podcast) added that "people who say that Em don't do shit or hasn't done shit for the city outside of the philantrophy that isn't promoted, I know for a fact that as a teenager I got paid a lot of money per hour to do absolutely nothing but stand around and meet some of the greatest rappers in the world." "At that point, we were rowdy," explains Marv. "What the director decided, was he was going to do a contest. We gon' pick three people to come up here and pantomime scenes. [Em] was going to rap, and it was going to be some b-roll." Though he was originally hesitant to sign up, Marv's manager told him to sign up and try to land the position. "I was one of the n***as that made it to the finals. So they bring [Em] in, and they like alright, just spit a verse." "It got more of a reaction than he wanted," reflects Marv. "What people don't know is he was rapping when the beat came on, but the mic was off. So the beat dropped, and he's rapping but nobody hears it. And I'm trying not to break character, like "for real?" And I'll never forget, he's flipping his mic, and he's like I got something for your fat ass, Marv. And he raps, and I'm like you can't let me have this moment?" "He raps, I beat him," says Marv, his nonchalance sparking laughter throughout the room. "That's my man. But what I'll say, is that shit literally changed my life. Not even on a money standpoint, but the fact that when that DVD dropped, they used that scene to sell DVDs. Up until that point, my mom thought I was wasting my time. Honestly, I had been all these places but it didn't resonate. Until she's looking at Entertainment Tonight and they're playing the scene....I'm forever indebted, nobody can say anything bad about that man to me. That's my actual man." And to make it even better, Em actually ended up asking Marv for a rematch during a party at the Slim Shady manor. For those who might not know, Marv Won is a formidable battle rapper in his own right. In the early millennium, he and Quest McCody held it down in the World Rap Championships, representing Detroit all the way to the semi-finals, where they were eliminated by the eventual champions TheSaurus and Illmaculate. To this day, Marv has been a fixture on the battle circuit, and those who appreciate that particular side of the culture will likely hold his opinion in high esteem. Be sure to check out Marv and Quest chop it up with Math Hoffa on My Expert Opinion, a must-watch if you're looking for some insight into the underground. View the full article
  11. There have been rumblings that Lil Wayne could be gearing up for one last full-length release before the end of the year and, after today's major reveal by DJ Khaled, those rumors have been confirmed. No Ceilings 3 is officially on the way. Lil Wayne previously announced that he was working on the latest addition to his popular mixtape series, and it's looking like his fans won't need to wait too long to listen to it. The DatPiff exclusive video, which was shared by DJ Khaled, shows snippets of songs performed by Lil Wayne and his longtime collaborator Drake, as well as a remix of "We Paid", the anthem released this year by Lil Baby and 42 Dugg. Not long after the trailer came out, Weezy F caught up with Complex to deliver some news regarding the tape's release. The publication is confirming that No Ceilings 3 will be out this week on Friday, November 27. It will be exclusive to DatPiff. "The mixtape game seemed to be a dying art and since I’m one of the pioneers of the craft, and it played such a big part in my career, I felt it was only right to resurrect it," said the legend in a statement. "Also, it’s a lot of songs out here I wanted to kill my way!" There will be three cover artworks for the project, with one designed by HustleGrl, who designed the first No Ceilings tape's cover. 12. Following the release of her latest album, Good Newslast week, and her much-deserved Grammy nominations yesterday, Megan Thee Stallion revealed to Ebro in the Morning that her diss track "Shots Fired," directed at Tory Lanez, was "ready to go" just one day after Tory allegedly fired shots at her. "It comes a time where it gets hard to be the bigger person sometimes," she began. "And at the end of the day, I can't just keep letting people walk all over me." Cassidy Sparrow/Getty Images "I can't keep letting people take these jabs at me and I'm not gon' say nothing. That's just not in my nature," she went on. "When you know you're right and you know you have nothing to prove, you really don't have to give a response. "But once you made it rap beef, you put it on wax, now I gotta say something. I really had the song all ready but I was like, you know what, let me just save it for the album." She revealed that she considered dropping the track right after the incident, but then opted to wait until she had cooled down. "Because it was ready to go the next day. I was like, you know what, let's be calm. Let's be patient. Let's see how this plays out and let me just wait and put it on my album," she said. [via] Y'all muthafuckas so confused. 15. One week after releasing his debut album Welcome to O'Block, King Von was gunned down in front of an Atlanta hookah bar. The shocking death of the rising Chicago rapper continues to stun the rap community as Von's loved ones grieve his death and celebrate his life. As the legal system attempts to piece together what happened the evening King Von was murdered in hopes of bringing justice in his case, Von's girlfriend, Asian Doll, continues to take to her social media accounts to memorialize the man that she loved. Last week, Asian Doll, or Asian Da Brat, shared that she had plans to get King Von tattooed on her face, but it looks as if she opted to get ink elsewhere. The rapper shared her latest bit of body art to her Instagram Story and Twitter account, and she's chosen to get an impressive portrait of her late boyfriend tattooed on the back of her hand. Asian Doll shared a video that showed her new tattoo in detail and she's excited to carry Von with her for the rest of her life. "Know How We Rocking DAYVON," she wrote in the caption to her tweet. She also added that people were already criticizing her tattoo prior to it being completed. "My tattoo so raw I ain’t even finished & mfs already haten but soon as my sh*t get finished they finna be d*ck riding." Check out videos of Asian Doll's new ink and let us know what you think. Simone knows how to hustle as she has her own beauty brand as well as her music and comedy careers, so it was only a matter of time before she brought in dough from OnlyFans. She joins names like Amber Rose, Chris Brown, Tyga, Rubi Rose, LisaRaye McCoy, Michael B. Jordan, Swae LEe, Cardi B, Jordyn Woods, and dozens of others who have launched pages and raked in big bucks through the fan-friendly—and often adult—site. Instagram B. Simone made the announcement on her Instagram Story as she shared a black and white photo of herself where it looked as if she was wearing only her underwear while text covered her breasts. She gave viewers instructions on how they could access her OF, but it's unclear what subscribers can expect. Earlier this year, B. Simone was entangled in controversy after she was accused of plagiarizing bloggers to create her manifestation book. After going viral, she quickly apologized for the mix-up, but it doesn't seem like people have let that scandal go because they had quite a bit to say about it after learning she'd launched an OF. 17. There isn't room for any hate in Boosie Badazz's heart for people who have acquired more wealth and success than himself. We live in a competitive culture, especially in the entertainment industry, as creatives attempt to come up with inventive and innovative ways to climb the highest, travel the farthest, make the most money, acquire the most followers, get the most views, and break the most records. This level of competition can often lead to critics and haters coming out from every corner to dismantle someone's accomplishments, but for Boosie Badazz, he sees those who have more than himself as motivators to do and be better. "People who have more than me, I'm happy for them," said Boosie. "You are my motivation, n*gga. You know. And God ain't gon' bless the motherf*ckers who hate on the motherf*ckers he blessed. People not happy for the people who have it. You not happy? You gotta be happy for the Beyoncé. You gotta be happy for the Jay-Z. A lot of people are not happy for the ones who have it. They're not looking at them as motivation. They're looking at them as opps." Boosie told the story of when he first left Louisiana and went to Georgia, Rick Ross invited him to his palacious estate. After the visit, Boosie said it motivated him to get into "full grind mode." He added, "When I saw with my own eyes what a Black man could have, it was straight motivation." 18. A mysterious medical emergency hovers over the Dallas Cowboys after practice was canceled on Tuesday (November 24). It's being reported by multiple outlets that earlier in the day, strength coach Markus Paul was rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency. It's unclear exactly what happened as Cowboys executives have been hush-hush about Paul's condition. However, they did share that he was hospitalized and receiving tests, and that they would give an update at an appropriate time. "Paul was immediately treated by Cowboys medical personnel and transported to a local hospital by ambulance," the Cowboys said in a statement. "The organization extends its prayers and support to the Paul family, and asks for friends and followers of Markus, his family and the team to keep them in their thoughts and prayers." Following the news of Paul's condition, there were a number of NFL players who mistakenly believed that he'd passed away. The Dallas Cowboys quickly corrected the misunderstanding to clarify that the coach was alive and well. Speculations have surfaced that Markus Paul could have contracted COVID-19, but TMZ reported that the medical issue is not coronavirus-related. His daughter shared on social media that Paul is on life support and asked for the public to pray for his recovery. You can read through her statement in its entirety below. 19. After suggesting that Halle Berry doesn't know what she's doing in the bedroom, LisaRaye McCoy has returned with an explanation of her comments. While on Cocktails with Queens, LisaRaye was asked about Halle's sex game and answered that she'd heard that the Oscar-winning actress wasn't any good. The internet lit up with responses as people dragged LisaRaye for spreading gossip, especially after Cocktails with Queens recently condemned Hitmaka for speaking about his alleged sexual exploits with celebrities. Frederick M. Brown / Stringer / Getty Images "They tore my ass up this week about talking about I said that her p*ssy is trash," said LisaRaye. "And I was like, 'Where did I say that at?' You know what I mean? I don't know that because I'm not gay nor am I bisexual. But, that disturbed me because Halle is beautiful. I don't have a problem with Halle. I love Halle. Halle is breaking barriers for all of us, you know what I mean. So, that is absolutely a no-no." "However, I absolutely heard that," LisaRaye continued. "I remember when Monster's Ball was her love scene and they was trying say that that's how she is in bed. And it was like, no, it was movie guys, what are you talking about? Then they came out with the whole Wesley Snipes thing and who was that that hit her in the ear and she didn't have good relationships and I was like, 'Child, we all done been with somebody that we ain't with now so, sh*t.'" 20. Her partnership with Fashion Nova pulled in over $1 million in just 24 hours, but not everyone is celebrating the line fronted by Megan Thee Stallion. A designer named Aazhia shared a screenshot to her Instagram page that showed her clothing items next to a piece from Megan's Fashion Nova collection. Aazhia claimed that Megan stole her design and passed it off for the online store, and in an interview with The Morning Hustle on Tuesday (November 24), the rapper denied that she took anything from anyone. "A lot of times people say that they talked to somebody from my team," said Megan. "I don't know what year that was. What are you talking about? And a lot of times they won't even bring me—they don't tell me who they talkin' to. I'll probably never hear you... But, it's been a dress that has been done a lot over the years. So, I feel bad that people's initial reaction would be to just come at me like, 'Oh you a Black woman and you stealing from Black women.' I'm like damn, hold on. I don't know you." "It's a way to come at people," the rapper continued. "If it would have been a real misunderstanding, I wouldn't have had a problem with saying, 'Oh, I'm sorry sis. Let me check my stylist, don't do that, it's not right. I would have had the dress taken down, whatever the money made from the dress, I would have gave the money to the girl if that was really something that she felt like was stolen from her. But I don't feel like that was anything." The explanation wasn't good enough for Aazhia who returned with a response to Megan's interview. "I'm vexed because it's condescending, it's disrespectful, it's hypocritical," said Aazhia. "My dress is from the '90s. She also said in her opinion it's not stolen. That's what she said in the video, but she would have gave me money if I would have just came at her right. Excuse me? I'm confused." 21. It was back in April when we were still in the first weeks of the COVID-19 quarantine when Mannie Fresh and Scott Storch met up for Verzuz. Before Swizz Beatz and Timbaland inked deals with Apple TV and made the online series a record-breaking event, Mannie and Storch met up to play some of their greatest hits in an epic producer battle. However, how each artist approached the meeting of the music differed as Mannie looked at it as a beat battle while Storch seemed to take a kinder approach. Mannie brought up Storch's previous drug problems and issues with the law, and afterward, he was criticized for being too hurtful or aggressive. Swizz recently told GQ that he owed both producers a new battle as they weren't a fair match. In a recent interview with People's Party with Talib Kweli, Mannie Fresh addressed the controversy. "Honestly, it was a battle," said Mannie. He added that before Swizz Beatz and Timbaland even came up with Verzuz, he'd been doing "beat battles" with A-List producers. However, with his shows, the skits were a central part of the performances. " "Nobody got they feathers ruffled or none of that. It's competitive. This is it," he said. "This is what goes on in hip hop. Hip hop is a story of your life. Nobody gave me the memo that this is a new hip hop and what I'm saying is the new hip hop is you gotta be politically correct. You can't say nothin' about somebody." Mannie said he called Storch the following day to check-in to make sure he didn't "go too far" and apologized to his fellow hitmaker. "It was all in fun because it was a beat battle. He coulda done the same thing back, it wouldn't have ruffled my feathers. But, it was a lot of people who was like, 'Man, you went too hard.'... This is what hip hop does." While Swizz may feel as if he owes Mannie Fresh another Verzuz opportunity, it's out of the question. The producer said at the time, no one wanted to do the Verzuz and when he learned he was going up again Storch, he began studying to have his ammunition ready. "I will never do another one I don't fit in that criteria," said Mannie. "I am competitive. I want to f*ck over you. I want to win... I don't have no bad feelings about Scott Storch. I love him like a brother, but if you wanna be apart of hip hop, you gotta open up your good and your bad." He recognized that he has some controversies as well, including headlines that he's owned some checks by Cash Money. Yet, he claimed he wouldn't have been salty if that was brought up during the battle because that's what the culture is about. 22. A song that NLE Choppa recently released has caused controversy and YouTube stepped in to remove it from their streaming service. If you've been keeping up with NLE Choppa, then you're aware that the spiritually-minded rapper isn't shy about vocalizing his thoughts about health, other-worldly topics, conspiracies, vaccines, and the like, but when he addressed a few of these in his music video for his single "Paradise," YouTube wasn't having it. Today (November 24), NLE Choppa released the visual for "Paradise," but it only took a few hours for YouTube to take it down. "Folks straight deleted me cause they know the message I’m speaking powerful. This some BS," Choppa wrote alongside a screenshot of the notification that his video had been removed. "I been undergoing the most blackballing sh*t ever. Everytime I drop my songs YouTube either crashes, I get a a spam a dislike that blocks it from trending and today I drop 'PARADISE' video and they straight deleted my sh*t. They hate a smart melanin king and it’s been showingALOT." On "Paradise," Choppa raps: "Maturity and prosperity, that's all I been showin' / Ain't wearin' no mask, n*gga, f*ck the pilot / Fake-ass coronavirus, cops killin', startin' riots / Perception is what you decide, I'm grounded when the sun rise." Some believe it's these lyrics that caused YouTube to act and COVID-9 cases have been on a dramatic rise and quarantine lockdowns have been reinforced. You can check out the track below. 24. An enigmatic tweet by Playboi Carti has Iggy Azalea feeling a bit out of sorts. The two rappers were reportedly dating for some time, and earlier this year they welcomed a child together, a baby boy named Onyx. The private couple rarely, if ever, spoke to or about one another, but when they decided to split, Iggy confirmed the rumors that she was a single woman. Still, she refrained from saying Carti's name, so it came as a surprise when Iggy retweeted her ex after he wrote, "I told da bit shut up! My son crying." Iggy wrote him back, "Did you?" She followed it up with tweets saying she had "zero clue" and was "confused as f*ck," but it doesn't look like Iggy got all that she needed off of her chest. People were tweeting her rude comments and the rapper called out her critics. "Why I gotta log on and see my name dragged in dirt over a random cryptic ass tweet, that hasn’t got sh*t to do with me!" she said. "For WHAT!? I mind my business. I hope your Mac & cheese burns in the oven on Thursday. Night!" She added, "And yes, I’m pissed the f*ck off. As I should be. As you would be." Meanwhile, Playboi Carti has been teasing the release of his phantom album Whole Lotta Red. Twitter View the full article
  25. His episode of Drink Champs was full of gems as Hitmaka took a walk down memory lane with Noreaga and his crew, but it was the producer's stories of his sexual exploits that landed him in hot water. During the chat, Hitmaka shared tales of engaging in sexual acts with women like Teairra Mari and Naturi Naughton, and later, some people like the hosts of Fox Soul's Cocktails with Queens, suggested that he must not have much sex if he talks about it as if it is an accomplishment. Hitmaka addressed his controversy while speaking with Angela Yee's Lip Service and expressed regret over how he handled the Drink Champs conversation. Amy Sussman / Staff / Getty Images "See, after I did, I don't know if y'all was in tune or whatever, I went Live with Fat Joe—I literally hit N.O.R.E. and was like, "Yo, I don't want this out," said Hitmaka. "Please edit it. I will pay for whatever would go on. But the interview, however [much] it cost or whatever, I'll take care of it. I felt bad about the fact, you know what I'm saying, after the fact. But I mean, it is my truth, but I didn't want it to come out like that." Hitmaka added that he was aware that it was going to be edited "to make it like, a thing like that" and once again stressed that he asked production not to include his remarks. "They did it anyway." Angela Yee wanted to know if he felt remorse about his comments. "Of course, after the fact," Hitmaka answered. However, he repeated that "it is my truth." "I think it could have been a little more tasteful than it was but Drink Champs, you already know what they did." Watch Hitmaka chat with the ladies of Angela Yee's Lip Service below.
