  1. After forming in the early 1990s, the Backstreet Boys became a global phenomenon. They were a leading force in the boy band wave that came out of that decade and for almost 30 years, the quintet has remained iconic figures in the music industry. They're still playing sold-out shows and have dedicated fans that have been supporting them since their inception, but after singer Brian Littrell posted a link to his Parler account on Twitter, the pushback has been intense. Twitter Diehard fans quickly flooded Littrell's timeline with criticisms and calls for him to be booted out of his group. Soon, Littrell's groupmate and cousin, Backstreet Boys singer Kevin Richardson, posted a tweet that some believed was a subliminal shot. Richardson shared a link to an article titled, "I Lost a Best Friend to QAnon," and in the caption, he added, "Interesting read." The QAnon conspiracy theorists have been a catalyst for much of the pro-Trump, MAGA movement as they share unsubstantiated information that has aided in political dissension. Even people who support Trump but not his radical following have spoken out against the insurrectionists because they believe QAnon theorists have cast a shadow on the president's accomplishments. Meanwhile, the FBI's investigation into the Capitol Hill riots continues as insurrectionists are arrested nationwide with some demanding that Trump pardon them before he exits office. Check out a few posts below including alleged screenshots of Littrell's wife's anti-BLM memes. Twitter View the full article
  2. Drake is preparing to release his brand new album Certified Lover Boy and in the midst of releasing the album, he is also coming through with his Nike NOCTA line. This new Nike venture has already unleashed some unique pieces onto the world and even more, are on the horizon. As Drake continues to gear up for CLB, we will certainly be seeing more NOCTA teasers, just like the one that was shown off a few days ago while the artist was recording in the studio. In fact, according to pyleaks on Twitter, the shoes Drake was wearing in that photo are part of his Nike NOCTA line. In the tweet below, it was revealed that this shoe is supposed to be the Nike Hot Step Air Terra which will drop in a white/chrome offering later this year, closer to the fall. There is still a lot we don't know about this sneaker although there should be quite a few updates over the coming months as we approach the Fall season. In the meantime, keep it locked to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest information. As always, let us know what you think of the shoe, in the comments below. 3. A simple tweet about makeup has sparked an unlikely beef. Makeup careers are on the rise as more people are dipping their toes into being social media influencers and on celebrities "glam squads," and as the years have rolled forward, prices have gone up. Asian Doll (or Asian Da Brat) has taken issue with the costs of makeup artists these days and she took to Twitter to complain. "If you charge over $150 to do a face of makeup you can go to hell respectfully," she wrote, prompting responses that included a mention from social media influencer and makeup artist James Charles. "What a stupid tweet," he said. "1 foundation can cost $50, artists have to buy EVERY SHADE for their kit, & thats just the first step. Its expensive to work as a MUA. Either pay an artists rate for their time & skill, do it yourself OR get it done at a counter and risk looking busted." Asian Doll quickly replied, telling him to mind his business because this was "hood" and he's "Hollywood." She told him, "What a dumb ass to be in my business replying to something that has absolutely nothing to do with you... im having a debate about HOOD PRICES Baby stay over there in HOLLYWOOD where they having you looking GHOST." As the pair of celebrities beef, fans of the rapper pushed her to argue with Charles but he seems to have shirked away from continuing to engage with Doll. Check out bits from their exchange below. 4. Karl-Anthony Towns has been through a lot over the past year and it's almost impossible to fathom the heartbreak he has endured. Back in April of 2020, Towns lost his mother to the Coronavirus and since then, he has lost six other relatives. It's a tragic situation for the Minnesota Timberwolves star, and today, he tested positive for COVID-19, as well. The news came via Towns who posted a message to his Twitter page. Towns made sure to note that he wants everyone to continue social distancing and that the diagnosis has brought a lot of anxiety to his family. This is horrible news for everyone involved and we can only imagine what he must be feeling. "I pray every day that this nightmare of a virus will subside and I beg everyone to continue to take it seriously by taking all of the necessary precautions," Towns wrote. "We cannot stop the spread of this virus alone, it must be a group effort by all of us. It breaks my heart that my family, and particularly my father and sister continue to suffer from the anxiety that comes along with this diagnosis as we know all too well what the end result could be." We wish nothing but the best for Towns moving forward and hopefully, he can shake off the virus in a quick fashion. Hannah Foslien/Getty Images View the full article
  5. Kanye West's Yeezy brand is one of the biggest entities in the sneaker industry right now and when it comes to fashion at large, West has been able to turn Yeezy into a billion-dollar enterprise, thanks to some help from Adidas. With this in mind, Kanye chooses to be quite secretive about the brand's upcoming projects, and he makes sure to keep his employees from spoiling some of the secrets. Perhaps the best example of this comes from a recent lawsuit in which the brand is now suing a former intern by the name of Ryan Inwards. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Inwards signed a non-disclosure agreement at the start of his internship, stating that he could not post any photos related to Yeezy's behind the scenes operations. Brad Barket/Getty Images for Fast Company Inwards allegedly broke this clause as he repeatedly posted Yeezy-related photos to his Instagram account. Yeezy claims they asked Inwards to take the photos down numerous times although he never did. In response to Inwards' inaction, the brand is suing him them for $500,000 in liquidated damages. The brand also wants Inwards to give Yeezy all of the images he took as a way to deter him from ever pulling this off in the future. Stay tuned for updates as this is a developing story. 6. Over the past few years, Von Miller has consistently been one of the best defensive players in the entire NFL, despite numerous injury problems. This season, Miller has dealt with COVID-19 as well as a dislocated tendon that kept him off the Broncos roster since December. Now, however, Miller is in much more serious trouble as according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, he is the subject of a police investigation in Colorado. As it stands, there has been no reason given when it comes to the investigation, which has led to a lot of speculation on social media. Regardless, Miller has enlisted the help of attorney Harvey Steinberg who is a big name in the state. Miller has been in legal trouble before although he was able to get off without any stiff penalties. The trouble was related to an incident back in 2018 where Miller posed with a bloody hammerhead shark on a boat. Since that time, Miller has kept a low profile although this latest investigation has certainly piqued people's curiosity. This is a developing story so keep it locked to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest information on the matter. Dustin Bradford/Getty Images View the full article

  15. UnoTheActivist doesn't get much mainstream attention, but he's one of the most consistent and exciting forces out of Atlanta. Bringing intergalactic and cloud-like energy on the production end, Uno always manages to slide on top of the most unconventional trap beats. Family friends with Playboi Carti, the two have been at odds over the last few years but, after the release of December's Whole Lotta Red, Uno extended an olive branch. Now, he's returning with new music of his own, dropping his latest 10-track album Unoverse. We're all living in UnoTheActivist's world. The one-of-a-kind artist is officially back with his new project, calling on Mar90s and MDMA as his sole features. After releasing a handful of full-length projects last year, it looks like we can expect that same kind of output from Uno again this year. If you're here solely for WLR-adjacent sounds, check out the standouts "Die Of Old Age" and "Tears On The Southside". What do you think of Unoverse? Tracklist: 1. The Vision 2. Taco Bell 3. 16. Though Logic is technically retired, fans have remained cognizant of an integral truth -- in hip-hop, retirement is only temporary. If there's anything rappers love more than the hype surrounding a retirement run, it's declaring themselves to be back. To Logic's credit, he has been keeping a low profile since bowing out with No Pressure, though he's made sure to scratch his creative itch by getting back into his beat-making bag. Now, it would appear that Bobby Tarantino is looking to test the waters once more, announcing and unveiling the latest BobbyBoy signee Doctor Destruction. Joseph Okpako/WireImage/Getty Images Taking a page out of the late MF DOOM's playbook, Doctor Destruction appears to prefer the incognito route, donning a mask that conceals his true identity. In fact, the rapper's mysterious nature has some speculating that Logic has actually created a new alter-ego, one that might allow him to slide back into the game without the fanfare. For the most part, however, Logic appears to be fully committing to the rollout, praising his new signee's imagination and teasing a debut mixtape release on January 22nd. Explaining that he originally met Doctor D three years ago ("he claims to be from the year 2097"), Logic seemed particularly impressed by the rapper's dedication to preserving hip-hop's roots. "This kid is full of imagination. So strap on your space suit and get ready for his free debut album (not mixtape) releasing on Friday the 22nd on @DatPiff," tweets Bobby. "Go show him endless love and support. It’s a special project." Despite sharing a brief clip of the two artists vibing together in the same room, that hasn't stopped the fans from believing that Doctor Destruction is Logic in disguise. In any case, we won't have to wait much longer to find out. Look for vocal modulation to be the dead giveaway when Destruction's debut mixtape drops on January 22nd. View the full article
  17. At the beginning of the month, media outlets began reporting that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were moving forward with their divorce. Since then, rumors of Ye's alleged new relationship with makeup influencer Jeffree Starr have been flooding the headlines leaving Kim "humiliated." Kimye's union was rumored to be in trouble as far back as July 2020, but People magazine is now reporting that it actually went south months before that. An industry source told the magazine today that, "the love story between Kim and Kanye has been over for a long time, more than a year. They adored each other but have too many differences." Dominik Bindl/Getty Images "Kim has become more independent and has lost patience with his antics, rants, the presidential campaign and tweets," the source continued, adding that "Kim is capable of moving her life forward without him. She is busy studying [to be a lawyer], running her business, promoting it, and raising their children. That is what she wants to do." Another source told People that Kim intends to do everything in her power to make sure Kanye can maintain a good relationship with their four children. "She will do everything she can for the kids to have a great relationship with Kanye," that source explained. "She just doesn't want to be married to him." Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images Earlier in the week, a source claimed Kim was reportedly humiliated by the Jeffree Starr and Kanye West media coverage. "Kim is humiliated by everything with Jeffree and the divorce as a whole," said a source to The Sun. "She has a lot of friends and a lot of respect in the makeup world so she was embarrassed with all of those Jeffree rumors." [via] View the full article
  18. Well, this is a surprise. Last night, nobody was expecting any sort of activity from Houston rapper and commercial marketing darling Travis Scott, but he came through with a random gift for all of his fans, dropping a remix of "Goosebumps" over four years after the original release. The new dance remix of "Goosebumps" is backed by Travis Scott and HVME, a young producer from Spain. It's unclear how these two linked up but, clearly, Travis was a big fan of the remix-- enough so that he decided to officially release it during the lead-up to Utopia. Let us know what you think of it! Most recently, Travis Scott has been teasing the arrival of his next studio album, rumored to be titled Utopia, which is currently expected to drop in March 2021 according to a few unofficial sources. Perhaps the rapper will be re-living some of his best work through remixes like this one in the coming weeks? Stay tuned. Quotable Lyrics: 7-1-3 Through the 2-8-1, yeah, I'm ridin', why they on me? 19. Details are beginning to break regarding 29-year-old Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci's murder charges, for which he was arrested this week. The "Wet" rapper, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett, reportedly turned himself in on Wednesday evening after reports broke that he was wanted for murder, gang, and firearms charges. At that stage, details were scarce regarding the actual incident that led to Bennett becoming a suspect. Finally, the situation appears to be revealing itself. Bennett Raglin/Getty Images According to a new report by the Associated Press, the Atlanta shooting left one man dead and another wounded. Bennett was reportedly the driver of a vehicle rolling through rival gang territory on December 10 when two people in the car began firing shots. The rival gang members reportedly returned fire, hitting 28-year-old James Adams in the head. The man was "manually ejected" from the car, which is a claim supported by the alleged 911 call that released this week. Adams' body was found lying in the middle of the street and he was pronounced dead on the scene. He was reportedly part of YFN Lucci's crew. Ra’von Boyd, 23, and a 17-year-old boy were also arrested and charged as they were in the car with Bennett. Paras Griffin/Getty Images Bennett's legal team, including Drew Findling, have said that a "review of the initial evidence" does not warrant any criminal charges for the rapper. To get caught up on this developing story, check out our latest article, YFN Lucci's Murder Charges, Everything We Know So Far. [via] View the full article
  20. Rising artist Flo Milli is said to be next in line when it comes to the conversation about women in the rap game, and she's ready for her seat at the table. The Alabama-raised rapper has been catching the attention of rap fans worldwide, especially after she made an appearance at last year's BET Hip Hop Awards where she dropped a few bars during one of the network's coveted cyphers. The newly-21-year-old artist has returned with another single, "Roaring 20s," a track that boasts a production from Kenny Beats. If the sample sounds familiar, it's because Beats has switched up the popular show tune "If I Were A Rich Man" from the famed musical Fiddler on the Roof. Fans have already begun flooding Flo Milli's social media with praise, so check out "Roaring 20s" and let us know what you think. Quotable Lyrics Stupid sh*t, it's just a double standard I made my own lane and I took advantage (Flo Milli shit) You can't hate on p*ssy if it rule the planet (Yeah, yeah) I just came in the game and I'm doin' damage (If I was a rich man) View the full article

Prior to the album's release, Caution joined his friends and fans for a virtual release party where he spoke about various aspects of creating the project. 23. Netflix is slated to premiere the film adaptation of White Tiger on January 22, so the streaming service has begun sharing music from the silver screen project. On Friday (January 14), Indian rapper DIVINE delivered his addition to the soundtrack, a single titled "jungle Mantra" that includes features from Vince Staples and Pusha T. The Mumbai rapper shares his stage with the acclaimed emcees as they trade verses over a vibrant production. White Tiger is described as a "dark humor" style drama film that takes place in India. The movie follows a young man determined to rebel against a system that has pigeon-holed him into being a servant as he takes on a quest to reach new heights. We expect to hear more from this soundtrack in days to come, but in the meantime, stream "Jungle Mantra" and let us know what you think. 24. Sliding in with a surprise drop on Friday (January 15) is DaBaby who returns with more bossed up bars, this time on his new track "Masterpiece." 25. Be prepared to hear more from Funk Flex as he rolls out singles from his forthcoming album. Just a month after sharing his posthumous single and video for his track "Lurkin" featuring the late King Von who was murdered back in November 2020, Funk Flex returns with another look from his project. He's promised that his series of releases would feature heavy hitters, and on Friday (January 15) he shared "Game Time" with Fivio Foreign. The famed Hot97 DJ has been kicking up dust lately over his comments regarding Jay-Z and Drake, but he's taken a break from the controversy to give us his drill-laced single with one of the leading forces from the New York Drill scene. Flex's accompanying visual is much like that of his video with Von as he and Fivio keep things minimal because of the pandemic. Check out "Game Time" and let us know what you think.
