does this surprise anyone? that the administration sides w/the RIAA? wouldn't it be great if someone close to gwb actually understood that this issue is like the 30+ year 'war' on drugs? UN-FUCKIN-WINNABLE. but they understand neither the tech nor the implications...the future's here but those in gov are fighting their damndest against it. wouldn't it be great if all the money spent in any one year on the war against drugs would be used for education? or housing the homeless? or to supplement families w/kids whose parents work 2+ jobs? oh wait, i'm in fantasyland again.

i'll bet they are. here's hoping someone hip to reverse tech will put an end to this before it's viable...i can see the gov't using such photos as evidence of whatever. good idea but there's always unexpected consequences.
