  1. Sorry for bringing back an old thread, but its better than having the same thread twice. I just installed the test version, and i'm not having any problems with it so far. Specifically what types of problems did you have? ...and whats a ticker?
  2. I heard that AOL was really bad for that kind of thing. But thats what you get for buying a Celion Dion cd in the first place.
  3. Damn, I should post faster, like always someone beats me to it. But back to the point, she is beastly but as long as its for a good cause, ha
  4. I was thinking the same thing. With all the stickys, theres only three spots for threads.
  5. oh, and thanks for everyones help. i was getting sick of listening to the same stuff since i moved. :relaxin:
  6. yeah that worked...im an idiot. At first I was still getting the same error message constantly so I went back in to the router configuration and looked around. As it turns out I had typed in the wrong IP address. Total Genous, I'm on a roll with this computer stuff. Plus the forums/faq arent up to date. I learned later on that you only need one port open. Soulseek doesnt use 5534 anymore. So I took that out and everything is working great. I also d/l the test version, which i think i great. it has a lot of perks compared to 152.
  7. I used to have a lot of those, I'll see if I can try to find them.
  8. My nuts eh? That is an excellent point. Then they must be talented. Maybe I was wrong to doubt them.
  9. Americans and your 4th of July. Yesterday was my day off, but I sucked cause I knew I had to come in today so needless to say I didn't do much.
  10. The only bashing you'll get from me is because you gave any sort of credit to Slipknot. thumbsdown
  11. Okay I finally got around to doing this and it's not working. I follow the instructions on the D-Link Tech Support that Ken posted, and when I enter the IP address of the router into the web browser I get the pop up asking for admin name and passwork. The site says to enter in the admin name and leave the password empty. Which I did but the problem is I dont get the screen I am suppose to, I get a blank white screen saying 401 unauthorized. Now what do I do? I know what the admins username is and there isnt a password for it.
  12. Kill Bill 2 had a great story line, but I was disappointed by the lack of action in it. But I guess that was the point.
  13. Dude: What kind of guitar do you have? I play guitar and a little bass. For about 3-4 years now. I'm working in my first band. I think that a Sax will be my next puchase.
  14. I'm not sure if this should be under members music, admin can decide.
  15. I want to know how many people are musicians on this board. What instument(s) do you play, how long, have you ever been in a band etc... :jammin: :jammintwo: :scratchin: :singin:
  16. Inspired by the Tom Petty thread, I have decided to dedicate one to the Traveling Wilburys. For those who do not know who they are, you're missing out. But you probably heard at least a couple tunes like Handle Me With Care, End of the Line, or Tweeter and the Monkeyman. Consisting of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, George Harrison and Roy Orbison, they have never played a live show together as the Traveling Wilburys. more info at http://www.wilburys.info/
  17. I really like Tom Petty, and hopefuly I'm not the only one that notices he really sounds like Bob Dylan sometimes. I like Traveling Wilburys more though, and I think they deserve their own thread
  18. On a completely unrelated subject...Beat, why do you have -2 posts?
  19. Rainbow!! You're who I was trying to remember. I was trying to figure out which BK member was the biggest Queen fan, cause I know the subject came up before, and it was Rainbow.
  20. You've never heard Sweet? C'mon, I bet you have........ Ballroom Blitz Fox On The Run Action Love Is Like Oxygen Burn On The Flame etc. etc. etc. I think I know who you're talking about now. I guess they're just one of those bands everyone knows a song or two but can never remember their name.
  21. Never heard Sweet, but good call on Taylor. You can thank Umma for putting him up on the best drummers poll.
  22. I don’t, and neither does he. From what I read in interviews and such, he never wanted special recognition for his performance just because he lost an arm. He wanted to be treated like any other musician out there. Which is what I’m doing. So handicap aside, I never really liked Def Leppard, 9 arms or 10.
  23. Exactly my point. He was good, but not flashy. When we had the greatest guitarist of all time thread most people seemed to agree that Johnny Ramone and Kurt Cobain shouldn’t be on there. We’re talking about talent, not popularity and the overall bands impact on music. Same thing applies to drummers.
