I spent years in a rented place where we weren't allowed broadband... bought this place and the ADSL was ordered before we've unpacked anything else. And then they tell me I'm getting a free upgrade to 1Mb in the next couple of months.... hell that's going to fry my poor PC to death!

Can't wait for this one... have got all of his stuff apart from Broken Toy Shop (which I'm working on via Ebay) - E is one of the most talented guys of this generation. The good news is that it appears to have been pulled forward a couple of weeks as it was set for a 10th May release in the UK - and I've got to go past a record store in about an hour!

Yep, that could well be the problem - when everybody else finds out how good they are and jumps on the bandwagon those of us that were there early could become hacked off.

Huge fan of these guys.... their album is so far one of the best I've bought this year. Can definitely recommend people go out and buy it if they haven't already!

Couldn't agree more Ken.... hormones and humour aside, these guys really do need to get some sort of morals. Scum of the earth is not too harsh a description.

FX was a brilliant film! The second one wasn't as good, but it was okay.

We like her... she's nice.

I think they're also only releasing something like 300 copies of the single aren't they? That way they can feature in the charts because they aren't download only, but everybody buys the download rather than the single and they rocket up the charts. Very clever.... or very cynical depending on which way you view it!

Simple poll for you... is Beck a talent, or (for want of a better word) a twat? It's one I've been pondering for a number of years, and I'm sure my opinion changes depending on the weather, my mood and which of his albums I've played most recently - but I'd love to get other people's take on it. For what it's worth, my better half can't stand him.
