  1. I'm going to the zoo! It's only a relatively small one, but they've got otters and capybaras and I could sit and watch those all day!
  2. I don't know how anybody can even dare to claim having the coolest pic ever when this one is about.
  3. That sounds fab... I bet I can't get them over here though! I'll just have to stick to my dried apricots.
  4. Happy birthday amigo. Hope you're having a doozer.
  5. Doesn't Marie have a brain tumour?
  6. If this turns out to be true, it's an absolutely amazing story. From Sky News: Link : http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,91059-13358181,00.html
  7. You've gotta love the humility with which he conducts himself!
  8. I was 24 once... bloody long time ago though! Have a blinder, mate.
  9. My first musical purchase was "Don't Try to Stop It" by Roman Holliday. Fortunately, things have picked up since then - although some people might say only marginally!
  10. Now that's a headline to be proud of! Presumably the bomb squad were brought in to stop it prematurely going off? From Sky: Link : http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-13355259,00.html
  11. Ahhh, I love it when stupid people try and remove themselves from the gene pool to leave space for the rest of us. From the BBC: Link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/beds/bu...rts/4575291.stm
  12. Hang on a minute - this is "national" masterbation month - and I'm not based in the US. Can I "come" out and support you from the UK? :D
  13. He did have.... Oasis knocked him off the singles' charts this week, while Van Morrison, Faithless and System of a Down pushed him down to number 4 in the albums. Not that I'm smug or anything......
  14. I won't let the sun go down on me - Nik Kershaw.
  15. I think this is disgraceful.... the 'papers would be up in arms if these were photos of our guys. Saddam may have been a murdering tyrant, but he deserves a little bit of respect as a human being - doesn't he?
  16. About a third of the way into "The Black Angel" by John Connolly. If you've not read this guy before, then go out and pick one of his efforts up.... but be warned, you need to start from his first ("Every Dead Thing") as a lot of things won't make sense if you don't. Oh, and they aren't for people of a nervous disposition either.....
  17. Forget the Greek girl, I saw the first 5 minutes of it last night and the first song (Hungarian?) was performed by an absolute stunner. I'm very much in love right now.... just don't tell the better half!
  18. Sorry to here this, Shawn. If I could give you some advice, it's to accept it and move on. Something very similar happened to a mate of mine last year, and having counselled him through it he's now been in his own place for 8 months - and he's never been happier. Life hasn't ended, it's just ended as you know it. It's an opportunity to start out afresh and to do things how you want to do them. It just might be a fantastic new beginning for you. Hang in there. I know I'm still pretty new around here, but if you need anything then just holler in my direction.
  19. Excuse me Ma, I'm just going out into the shed with my shotgun......
  20. DMB and Weezer are two of my fave bands.... the new Weezer album is pretty fine, but vacation (anyone miss me?) has prevented me picking up the new DMB yet. Anyone bought it?
  21. Not had a console since I had the original Playstation, but I suspect this might be on my purchase list at some point. As BF points out though, would be nice if it wasn't hyped to hell.
  22. Money (In God We Trust) - Extreme.
  23. Out in the Fields - Phil Lynott & Gary Moore. :strumma:
  24. Jeez that scared the crap out of me.....
