Nice rig!! But there's a bit of glare in the last picture!!

:o

I didn't see the glare you saw--my eyes went to the Titian painting on the floor in the back :)

that window will have a curtain to filter the sunlight on it soon..it`s quite bright in that pic..it`s not actually like that..the light is fairly dull (or the windows are dirty)... and the view outside is great..but it will be good to be able to pull a curtain across when necessary... :)

There are already some tuturials out there on how to save gigs. Turn off the languages, turn off all the autmatic programs, etc. Go to Lifehacker and look up Windows Vista for more tips.

very informative indeed mate...i`ve already found out some interesting facts.....

for instance....

Q: How do you speed up Vista?

A: Uninstall it. Quickly.

and this....

Why does everyone hate Vista so much? Apple does a lot of the same things that it rags on Microsoft for doing. Need examples? OSX has a feature nearly identical to UAC: http://blogs.zdnet.com/Ou/?p=450

And yes, Apple, I am sure that I don't want to install your terribly written music management software. I wanted quicktime. That is it. Please stop asking me four times a day if I want itunes as well. I don't see why anyone with a pod–let alone anyone without one–would think of using it.

my 2¢. DK...

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
