Anyone have a chance to check it out?

I did a review HERE at my blog. You can see my reactions there.

I have high hopes for the album but just don't know how a Cavalera brother-less Sepultura album will appeal to metal fans.

Your thoughts?

The tracklist:

01. A-LEX I

02. Moloko Mesto

03. Filthy Rot

04. We've lost you

05. What I do!

06. A-LEX II

07. The Treatment

08. Metamorphosis

09. Sadistic Values

10. Forceful Behavior

11. Conform

12. A-LEX III

13. The Experiment

14. Strike

15. Enough Said

16. Ludwig Van

17. A-LEX IV

18. Paradox

I like some of their other stuff and I'll check this out when I get a minute to actually listen to it. Their "music" is about all I here generally, rather than their vocals.

I agree, and am even cool with that. I would still prefer to listen to Max and Iggor (Cavalera) over the new guys.

Been a fan since at least 1991's Arise. Was big into them during the Chaos A.D.. The "new guy" Derrick has been with the band over 10 years. I saw them in the past 5 years in LA, I think it was during the Roorback tour. Was a great show. Derrick is a monster, well over 6 feet tall.

Awesome band, though.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
