McCartney split rumours

Recommended Posts

It's rumoured Sir Paul McCartney's four-year marriage to Heather Mills may be over.

The 63-year-old musician has spent the past fortnight in the South of France, apart from his wife, reportedly in a bid to escape Heather's constant arguing.

When he returned to Britain he reportedly snubbed 38-year-old Heather and returned alone to his farmhouse.

A spokesman for Sir Paul told Britain's The Mail on Sunday: "I don't think they are with each other.

I can recall reading stories before their marriage about them trashing hotel rooms in fights and in one case, her throwing her engagement ring out of a hotel window.

When he lost his long-time wife Linda to cancer, he was rudderless. I don't think it's coincidence that he

found another tall woman with long blond hair. In trying to recapture his past, he's blighted his present life.

Paul McCartney and Second Wife Split

LONDON, May 17 — The bitchy rumors began almost as soon as they began dating: that she was a publicity-crazed fantasist; that he was too addled by romance to notice that, among other things, his children detested her. But all the pessimism about the marriage of Sir Paul McCartney and his wife, Heather Mills McCartney, seemed justified today when the couple announced that they had formally separated after four years of marriage.

Despite reports in the British news media of knock-down fights in recent days, the couple said in a joint statement that the split was amicable and that "both of us still care about each other very much." But, they added, they have "found it increasingly difficult to maintain a normal relationship with constant intrusion into our private lives." They asked "for the sake of our baby daughter, that we will be given some space and time to get through this difficult period."

McCartney blames media for split.......

Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his second wife Heather Mills have separated after four years of marriage, they confirmed in a statement on Wednesday, blaming media intrusion for the split.

McCartney, 63, and former model Mills, 38, who married in a lavish ceremony in Ireland in June 2002, said the constant attention had made "it increasingly difficult to maintain a normal relationship".

"Having tried exceptionally hard to make our relationship work given the daily pressures surrounding us, it is with sadness that we have decided to go our separate ways," the statement said.

"Our parting is amicable and both of us still care about each other very much."

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
