David Bowie - Sound And Vision

Ahhahh...

Ahhahh...

Doo, do-doo, do-doo-doo

Doo, do-doo, doo, do-ooo

Don't you wonder sometimes

'Bout sound and vision?

Blue, blue, electric blue, oooh, ooooh

That's the colour of my room

Where I will live

Blue, blue

Pale blinds drawn all day, mmmmm, mmmmm

Nothing to do, nothing to say

Blue, blue

I will sit right down, waiting for the gift of sound and vision

And I will sing, waiting for the gift of sound and vision

Drifting into my solitude, over my head

Don't you wonder sometimes

'Bout sound and vision?

Tommy Bolin.... "Stratus" from the album "Live at Ebbets Field 1974"..... :)

Virtuoso guitar playing from the late tommy bolin with an incredible rhythm section from a very good live recording....this version of "stratus" really cooks...enjoy.... :)

zephyr, james gang, deep purple..played with stanley clarke... :)

Wonder who I was thinking about? Now I remember where I know him from....:) This is one of my favorite albums from back in the day - Billy Cobham, drums; Tommy Bolin, guitar; Jan Hammer, electric piano, moog, piano; Lee Sklar, bass

Catchy tune - The Red Baron

Tommy Bolin on Guitar! - sounds a lot like Jeff Beck

Billy Cobham on Drums

"tears of the dragon"....bruce dickinson....from the album "balls to picasso".....bruce dickinson at his finest..i have always felt that he did his best work away from the iron maiden scenario....his support musicians on this album are of a much higher standard....also his solo "tyranny of souls" and "skunkworks" albums are well worth checking out....in my humble opinion.......enjoy... :) :)

Bruce Dickinson › Tears Of The Dragon....

For too long now, there were secrets in my mind

For too long now, there were things I should have said

In the darkness...i was stumbling for the door

To find a reason - to find the time, the place, the hour

Waiting for the winter sun, and the cold light of day

The misty ghosts of childhood fears

The pressure is building, and I cant stay away

I throw myself into the sea

Release the wave, let it wash over me

To face the fear I once believed

The tears of the dragon, for you and for me

Where I was, I had wings that couldnt fly

Where I was, I had tears I couldnt cry

My emotions frozen in an icy lake

I couldnt feel them until the ice began to break

I have no power over this, you know Im afraid

The walls I built are crumbling

The water is moving, Im slipping away...

I throw myself into the sea

Release the wave, let it wash over me

To face the fear I once believed

The tears of the dragon, for you and for me

Slowly I awake, slowly I rise

The walls I built are crumbling

The water is moving, Im slipping away...

I throw (I throw)

Myself (myself)

Into the sea

Release the wave, let it wash over me

To face (to face)

The fear (the fear)

I once believed

The tears of the dragon, for you and for me

I throw (I throw)

Myself (myself)

Into the sea

Release the wave, let it wash over me

To face (to face)

The fear (the fear)

I once believed

The tears of the dragon, for you and for me...

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
