Moody Blues..

Recommended Posts

Well, I am back from my Moody Blues Weekend!!! It went by way too fast. My friends and I had a GREAT TIME! I took over 200 photos (don't worry, I won't post them all!). I am really proud of the way most of them came out.

The shows were all the same. Dallas, Grand Prairie was first on June 17th at Nokia Live Theater. I took pics at this show too, but all of them came out blury. I was too far back. :( They had some sound problems (all three nights) but other than that the show was awesome!! Here is the set list (not in any order):

Tuesday Afternoon

Nights In White Satin

Lovely to See You

Question

The Story in Your Eyes

Isn't Life Strange

I'm Just a Singer In A Rock-n-Roll Band

Ride My See Saw (encore song)

The Other Side of Life

Lean on Me (Tonight)

I Know Your Out There Somewhere

Wildest Dreams

Are You Sitting Comfortably

December Snow

Higher and Higher

The Actor

The Voice

Talking Out of Turn

Steppin' In A Slide Zone

The second night was San Antonio, Selma, June 18th, Verizon Wireless. Same songs at all three shows. We ended up in the pit at this show. Then the Woodlands Pavilion, June 19th. I also ended up in the pit at this show. 5th row dead center, right in front of Justin Hayward  !! I will post some pics from the last two shows. I will be doing nothing for the next few days but sleep!! Did alot of driving!!

Here is one of Justin Hayward  from saturday night

With my luck, the next time they come to Texas. A friend of mine is going to check on some travel expenses for the last two dates on this US tour in Alantic City on July 15 and 16. I think she has a wild hair! That ain't enough time to save for plane tickets and tickets to the show and a hotel room!! But hey, if we can, we're going!!

here is one of Justin and John

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
