  1. Congrats method - best of luck in your future endeavors!!! :)
  2. hmmm... I duno if I agree with that. Bana isn't dapper enough....
  3. Thanks all for the kind comments! Holy crap - he does look like Michael Moore...! Not quite as heavy and at least he didn't wear his cap for the ceremony lol...
  4. Damn straight... finished my first week back... ouch, it hurts... :(
  5. And one more from Monte Carlo...
  6. From the Rialto Bridge in Venice...
  7. Well the honeymoon's over and I'm back down to Earth. All I can say is wow - everything went as planned, and it was the finest day of my life... As promised, a couple pics...
  8. Ricky Williams doesn't seem like the type to me. Yeah lame excuse but I've watched him in so many interviews and he's so soft spoken and laid back. Seems more like a relaxin Jamaican - maybe it's the dreds... See now somebody like Randy Moss or Romanowski for sure toots, but I never got that feeling from him... oh well... Would the NFL really withhold infomation on purpose to protect his image in case he wants to come back? I'd still say he's a genuine athlete if it's only weed...
  9. Jeezus though, it's just weed. It's not performance enhancing, in fact it's performance decreasing. If he was doing coke they would've mentioned it. I laugh at the masking agents too, they've saved my ass a couple times! ;) Smoke if you got 'em Ricky...
  10. What about Comic-book-guy? I know he's got a crush on Wonder Woman and all... maybe it's the lisp that biasing me...
  11. I watched my guy Obama last night and I was really impressed. I've been following that guy a little well, cuz I live in Illinois, and the interesting battle between him and Jack Ryan for Senate had some obvious good drama. But anyway, this guy really is a rising star and from what I've heard so far, I'd stand behind him all the way. Thumbs way up on the speech...
  12. Well they finally let me out of it... after 7 hours... We went out for Mexican at lunch, and the host informed me that all the Mexican busboys not accustomed to American "ball n chain" slang thought I was just out of jail and were wondering why I still had my shackles on... hysterical. What wasn't funny was draggin that fucker to the head in the stall after lunch to "take care of business" :(
  13. Hey thanks, yeah I'm lazy... :) So it seems I only missed Protozoa (1993) and Supermarket Sweep (1991)... Anybody seen those? I bet they're a bit different as they are much earlier work and he was probably still defining his style.... Looking forward to the announced releases though!
  14. Requiem is seriously hard-core. I thought he could've done better had it been a little less intense... but then again that makes a movie to talk about. Marlon Wayans did a good job in that flick in a serious role. But I like this guys work, what else has he done? Just Pi?
  15. Welcome to BK TIBIZONE00 and thanks for the info. Hope to see you around and feel free to post the next hot lyrics! B)
  16. Where in Italy or France or where in Wisco...? I'm betting Wisco. We're getting married in Door County actually, in Ellison Bay... so technically it's the shores of Green Bay, but close enough... really only a few miles. I frequent upstate WI pretty often, in addition to Door County, my buddy has a cabin in Adams county, not too far north, and then up by Superior, another friend has an awesome house on a lake with a private pier that we boat and fish from. About 1.5 hrs out of Minoqua. And then the Dells - pretty fun...
  17. Here's another movie that was done in comics first... http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/back...18616&snumber=1 It should be good shit. I groaned when I heard about Freddy v Jason, but after watching it I was glad I did. Pretty good and funny as hell. I bet they make Alien v Predator with even more money for costumes and effects. Sounds killer too!
  18. I still buy Spider-Man today, and yes it's pretty accurate. Some of the major differences are one, his web shooters. In the movies, it's an organic part of his body, in the comics, Peter invented a gadget that shoots webs and uses "web fluid". I kind of like organic thing that Sam Raimi came up with a little better.... it's less cheesy. The second major difference is that Mary Jane is a model in the comics, but Spirder-Man 1 was pretty early so maybe that career move is coming soon. They captured his origin very accurately in the first movie with the bite and Uncle Ben's death, and the Green Goblin's origin. Looking forward to part 2, been hearing rave reviews so far!
  19. Here's the ball n' chain I got shackled with at work bright and early this morning. It's 16lbs with a 7lb chain, it's got dates all the way back to '75, making this ball older than I am... what tradition here at work and the ball has survived that long! They gave me a dremel tool to carve my initials and date on there....
  20. Thanks for the advice CTC... make sense and you're right, I feel like I'm a little ahead already by having 2+ years under one roof with her already... Must be a shock to a lot of people to move in raw from their respective bachelor/ette pads to having to share everything with someone you are supposed to be very respectful of... Shit we've already had some close ones, but level-heads have prevailed and it just makes me more confident... Also had talks on the children expectation and desire to make and keep a family... looks like all systems go! We even did couples therapy for awhile - and even as I was less enthused, I did show up on time for every meeting :) Thanks for the words again and best of luck to you and RD!
  21. ok, sounds bad... just wanted to make clear that it was my first time, and not my second.... Wanted to give the impression of a newbie to marriage, which I am. Yep, the only, for ever and ever, and ever, and ever...
  22. Wow CA and Warflower, thanks for the encouraging words. Your years combined are longer than about 10 marriages I know combined... I'm at the age when a lot of my friends are getting married, and I've already seen a couple divorce! Usually less than a year! Ouch!
  23. yep, that's what I'm trying to proactively prevent. Better to start early... How to keep the fires going long after the looks and youth wear off? How to avoid the mid-life crisis? *high-fives Dude Thanks man!
  24. Yeah I heard about that, haven't tried it but is regular DC trying to incorporate it too? I suppose I could just look for myself...
