That was all over the news here! It's one of the open top boats for tourists to get on a view the Chicago skyline as well as take a river tour.

Apparently some of the waste hit people square in the face as they were looking up at the bridge on their tour.

Nasty - the tourists should all get to take a shit on the driver now...

And they should all get complimetary new outfits too...

People from Trinidad believe that it's lucky when you get shit on by a passing bird... it makes sense considering the odds are against it. I wonder what they would think about getting shit and pissed on by the whole DMB. Maybe the people on that boat tour should go out and by themselves a few lotto tickets... because that's some of the luckiest shit I've ever heard.

Dave Matthews Band Helps in Sewage Probe

CHICAGO - The Dave Matthews Band says it is cooperating with authorities to determine what happened when a tour boat with more than 100 passengers was doused with raw sewage.

A lawsuit by Illinois' attorney general contends the band's tour bus emptied its septic tank while crossing a grated bridge over the Chicago River on Aug. 8.

The band issued a statement on its Web site saying members have offered to provide DNA evidence to help authorities determine the source of the sewage.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
