Michael Moore Hates America

I saw a thing in the paper about him, the guy making this. Interesting....

Ya hes been around forever.

I remember he used to be really funny.

He had some controversial TV shows back in the early 90's that were hilarious.

Have yet to see the movie yet.

Think I'll grab a copy this weekend.

Even if you hate Michael Moore and love bush I still think its probably worth viewing if for anything to inspire discussion.

I don't think that guy will ever get to interview him, and I think that speaks volumes about the "big guy, little guy" ideals expressed by Moore.

Everyone is in search of the truth, but the question will always be "What is truth?".

It is whatever you want it to be, so it's impossible to search for "it".

It's like Dennis Leary says...

"Life sucks, get a helmet."

In our local liberal paper, they brought six people to screen Moore's new film and one of them was this guy.... Michael Nelson I believe. Or Wilson... not sure. Anyways, he said that it only made him want to finish his own film even more.

wow

some jackass doesn't get an interview, so now his opinion matters

if michael moore hated america, he'd move to france, or another country(he has more than enough money to do it)--like i hope to some day, if i get enough money

instead, he makes movies that draw attention to what he sees as wrong with america--of course questioning the status quo and corporate america is considered unamerican in this administration (but fuck this administration)

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
