I'm not sure if I have this listed under the correct catorgory. ABout 2 years ago, I got dragged to a Kid Rock concert in Madison Square Garden...Didn't really want to but there was an extra ticket. The show was awesome! I have scince seen him 3 times, just recently at the Jones Beach Theatre in Long Island, NY. The man is so talented and a great performer. Most don't like his music, but after I saw him that 1st time live I was hooked. I have found some great live stuff, and duets with variopus artists...I got a great live version of Sweet Home Alabama!

I think he has presence and that's about it. I don't listen to him...because I don't like his voice but he has a good band. He's been everywhere lately too...MANY friends in the business I suppose. He seems like a decent/fun guy to be around...I'd party with him ;)

You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
