In America we had a short work week, and its the weekend again, already. Any plans? I dont have any, but I can be persuaded to to Clapton's Guitar Fest if there are any other takers out there...

I'm feeling a little sick today.

Dr Dude recommends garlic--his fixit drug of choice these days. Pills or raw and sleep will do the trick

I'm feeling a little sick today. I'll be doing some packing of the place I'm staying at this weekend as I will be moving in 3 weeks.

Add some grapes to that garlic and sleep

I'm thinking of moving again too.... but packing is a total hassle...

Unfortunately, DAIC's statement about the work week is entirely incorrect for lower class citizens. I work on Saturday and Sunday. :S

Unfortunately, Im on the 7 day work week, too. No rest for the weary... :(

It was a short week and it seemed to fly by. Must have been the hangover I had from last weekend. I swear it lasted until Wednesday night.....

I made a commitment to myself to never work on weekends. So far I havent worked one in 16 years. ;)

Oh yeah GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guest .::BeatFactory::.

Finals start Sunday between the Lakers and the Pistons. I predict that the Lakers again, will take it in 5 (basically they'll beat themselves on that 1 game).

I'll be out of town again Saturday and Sunday. I'll be leaving here around noon Saturday and I should return late Sunday.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
