Britney Spears is being snubbed by publicists because she is such a "mess".

The 24-year-old singer is struggling to find someone to represent her since she announced her divorce from Kevin Federline and fired publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnick.

Britney's heavy partying since the split, combined with her behaviour during her marriage has damaged her image and no one wants to take on the job of trying to salvage her reputation.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "She is kind of a mess. She won't take anyone's advice."

Britney has lost weight and smartened up her look since she filed for divorce, but has been spotted smoking, drinking and partying hard with notorious socialite Paris Hilton.

On one girls night out in Las Vegas Britney took off her trousers half-way through the evening and sat around briefly in just a pair of fishnet stockings.

Has BRITNEY stolen PARIS HILTON`s man?

Britney Spears is rumoured to be dating Paris Hilton's oil heir ex-boyfriend Brandon Davis.

The Toxic singer was spotted on a dinner date with the 25-year-old - who was romantically linked to the Simple Life star and has also dated Mischa Barton - in Los Angeles yesterday.

A friend said: "Paris and Britney have been sharing quite a few nights out together recently - but I'm not sure Paris will want to share her boyfriends."

Paris could be unimpressed with Britney's choice of suitor, as she and Brandon are no longer on speaking terms after their relationship came to a bitter end earlier this year.

Brandon recently branded Paris a racist, saying she was forever referring to black people as "ni****s".

He said: "She is a racist, plus an idiot. I don't want anything to do with her. I don't need anything from her. She is no longer my friend. She is just not a nice person."

Brandon has also attacked Paris and Britney's on/off friend Lindsay Lohan labelling her 'firecrotch' and adding that she "smelled of diarrhoea."

Britney - who turned 25 on Saturday - has been making the most of her new-found single status since filing for divorce from Kevin Federline. She has been spotted partying hard with Paris in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
