Happy Friday the 13th everyone! Wassup? Looks like rain here, so the weekend will be filled with sports on tv - baseball playoff games and Penn State vs Michigan tomorrow. What about you?

Hi Dude...trying to convince the guys in the band that Susquehana Hat Company is an terrible name for a band...but don't think I'll get the chance because no one's available to practice. I got a good name for a band: No Rehearsal :wacko:

No much going on. Kids football tomorrow. Maybe movies on Sunday with my daughter. :happy:

off to London to see Chris and meet these Web Standards people from whom i might get a job. i could scream...it's 5,45 AM over here and i just wanna go back to bed.

of course, we were invited to a party at Joe Strummer's widow's house in Dorset but the band's leaving Paddington at 4pm and we'll still be in meetings. i could scream, lol, said that already.

ps, WF: i wish you had some say in the band...

Friday I went to my man's place to hang out before we had to go to work at the Toyota Center, we had the Blue Man Group that night.

Yerterday had to work the Pavilion...Arrowfest.....w/Rick Derringer, Head East, April Wine, John "I ain't missing you" (his last name just went out of my head!), Eddie Money, Kansas and Heart.

And today....I'm off!!

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
