Its hitting us here pretty good also. We had a wind warning, and still have a snowfall warning. Me looks out the window, " yup its a snowstorm alright ". Its not that bad here, as we will probably get plowed out in the next 24 hours, and they wont have to use a dozer to open our road.

They probably get more some of the money ear-marked for Katrina too. Those poor poor rich people trapped in high rise penthouses in Manhatten. The horror! ;)

I live in Brooklyn. I'm surprised this is the deepest amount of snowfall. It is big but doesn't seem as big as other ones that I recall. It is actually depressing to me that it is a record snowfall, because since it is not that impressive that means all the other ones will be even lamer.
