Charlie Sheen's pregnant wife files for divorce

Actress Denise Richards, who is six months pregnant with her second child by husband Charlie Sheen, filed for divorce from the former bad-boy star after less than three years of marriage.

The 34-year-old Richards cited "irreconcilable differences" as grounds for the split and is seeking full custody of their daughter Sam, who will turn one next week, and the unborn child, court filed in Los Angeles documents showed.

The model-turned-actress, whose movies include the James Bond flick "The World Is Not Enough" and "Wild Things," also requested that Sheen support her and that he be granted visitation rights to the children.

Yes but being the public figure he is, she should have known. On the other hand old Charlie may be a pretty decent guy. The only good things I've heard about him are he's a wealthy pervert that likes to drink and chase whores. I have never heard anything bad about him at all.

She is beautiful with a body that just won't quit.

I'm shocked only because she is 6 months pregnant! Lots of Hollywood marriages crumble after a short period of time. I personally think Nick and Jessica are next! :yup:

Sheen and Richards' medical battle

It seems that Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards' marriage imploded over fights about giving their young daughter the MMR injection.

Former Bond Girl Richards allegedly wanted one-year-old Sam to have the controversial injection, which stops children getting measles, mumps and rubella, but Sheen was said to be against the idea because of its link to autism.

A source close to the former couple claim they had blazing fights over the issue and Denise, who is pregnant with the couple's second child, was so furious at the constant arguments she decided to end the marriage.

A spokesman for Sheen refused to deny the couple had been fighting and said Sheen's only concern was for Sam's health.

Earlier this month, Sheen was forced to deny claims he cheated on Denise with a string of prostitutes at a recent party, which led to the actress walking out on their three-year marriage.

He said: "I did not cheat on my wife. These stories and allegations are unconscionable. The reason for our separation is a private matter between the two of us."

When Denise filed for divorce she cited "irreconcilable differences" for the split.

In the papers, Denise requested "miscellaneous jewellery and other personal effects" as well as "earnings and accumulation of petitioner from and after the date of separation".

She is also said to be pushing for full custody of the children, allowing Sheen visiting rights.

Charlie Sheen, Wife Richards May Reconcile

NEW YORK - Charlie Sheen says he and wife, Denise Richards, are working toward getting back together. Richards filed for divorce in March after three years of marriage. Sheen told David Letterman on CBS' "The Late Show" on Thursday that their relationship has since rebounded.

"We're working toward getting back together and fixing things," the 40-year-old actor said.

It would be a dramatic U-turn for a relationship that publicly disintegrated just months before Richards, 34, gave birth to the couple's second child.
