Bumper Stickers..

The "reloading" sticker is common as Hell in Texas.

It is also true. Two days ago a guy honked at another person and that person shot through his car. The bullet hit the driver in the arm and killed a 14 yr old boy in the back seat.

You don't hear as much horn blowing around here as some other places.

I cut off 2 people today for going slow in the fast lane while talking on a cell phone. It amazes me how someone will be going only 75 or 80 mph in the fast lane while talking on a cell phone and be oblivious to the fact that they are holding up traffic. The first guy I cut off was immediately cut off again by another guy that was tailgaiting me trying to get around him also.

No horn blowing though.

I think it was two saturdays ago now, some friends and I were going to work (but ended up going home because the game was called off), anyway, on the way home we passed this one chick putting on some lipstick (lipgloss) and TALKING ON THE CELL PHONE and she was driving with her knees!! We were on I-45 for crying out loud, with some traffic!!

Here is a funny one

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
