  1. We made a nice little round-up that showcases what some of your favourite hip-hop acts were up to this Easter but we think it's safe to say that no one compared to the baller Easter egg hunt Halsey hosted for her family and friends. The "Without Me" singer shared her Easter happenings with fans on Instagram and her crew was lucky enough to have the opportunity to score some cash in their hidden eggs. “I hid a couple grand in Easter eggs in the yard and now everybody is acting brand new," she captioned a video of people doing stretches in preparation for the big hunt. Tony Barson/WireImage/Getty Halsey also jumped on Twitter to share some cute memories about her Easter traditions as a child. "It seems like every celebrating family has a different Easter tradition. My mom used to leave jelly bean trails all over the house and each kid had their own color. We’d follow the trails to our baskets and little prizes and candy. We had to pick them up 1 by 1," she wrote. Halsey's Instagram story also shows her boyfriend Yungblud trying his first Peep. “Rather vile, to be honest," he said of the Easter treat. 2. Today marks almost ten-years since we lost the legendary songstress and vocal powerhouse, Whitney Houston. Her name was brought up amidst public chatter following the release of her ex-husband, Bobby Brown's biopic The Bobby Brown Story. The BET-special consisted of a two-part series which explored everything from Bobby Brown's career debut with the record-breaking group New Edition to a raw and unfiltered look at his temperamental relationship with the "I Will Always Love You" singer. Rory Storm/Online USA, Inc./Getty Images Moreover, the biopic specifically highlighted the tense relationship between Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's right-hand woman, Robyn Crawford. In a volatile scene from the biopic, the "My Prerogative" artist is seen arguing with Crawford before giving Houston an ultimatum to cut her off. Rumors aggregated shortly afterward, with fans suspecting Crawford of being Whitney's secret lover. Well, now that Brown has gotten the platform to tell his truth, Robyn Crawford is allegedly ready to offer hers. Frank Mullen/Getty Images According to Bossip, the best friend of to the late singer and actress Whitney Houston is ready to "set the record straight" through a tell-all book meant to reveal greater details about her tight relationship with Houston. "A Song For You," the name of the anticipated book, will hopefully give fans and curious-minds alike the answers they have been yearning for. Considering Crawford's catty relationship with Bobby Brown, we can only wonder what potential fuss this tell-all will bring about. [Via] View the full article
  3. Kanye West's ongoing Sunday Service recently reached an apex this past weekend, when Ye brought the tradition to the Coachella grounds. While the spectacle clearly captured the hearts and minds of many in attendance, it wasn't entirely clear how many settled down to witness the Service in action. Now, TMZ has revealed the scope of Kanye's pull, which found thousands upon thousands of festival-goers rallying to check out the early morning sermon. The report, which was conveyed by "Coachella production sources," claims that organizers officially turned in a headcount. As it stands, fifty-thousand stood in attendance of Ye's biggest Sunday Service yet, including several prominent names. DMX, the Kardashian clan, Chance The Rapper, Kid Cudi, Donald Glover, Lizzo, and more came through to enjoy the show. And what a show it was. Kanye ultimately premiered a new single called "Water," which found him taking his falsetto to previously unexplored heights. Clearly, Kanye West's eye for experimental concepts is nigh unparalleled, and there's no telling where the increasingly grandiose Sunday Service series might go. Congratulations to Ye for building something wholesome and organic. Hopefully, this energy can carry over to the impending Yandhi, if and when that should surface. 4. Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner are doing absolutely fine after some cheating issues that were previously reported. Since their PDA filled Coachella visit Travis has now made it known that he's Kylie's and Kylie's only while seemingly onset for the "Power Is Power" video that features SZA and The Weeknd. Kevin Mazur/WireImage/Getty The "Coffee Bean" rapper is seen suited up in some Game Of Thrones inspired clothing in the trio of photos posted below. "House of Flame, Son of lord Jacques B Webster the 1st, Husband of the Goddess K , Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, Blatt," he captioned the image, where Kylie replied: “Protect my realm. Oh lord Webster!” We're pretty certain that Kylie and Travis are not yet married, or even engaged since Travis has previously explained how he has to propose in a "fire way." "People don’t understand how real my girl is. How ill she is. They have assumptions, bullshit-ass remarks of what they think is going on. She’s the coolest motherfucker of all time," Travis previously stated about the mother of his child. " it got to a point where I was like, ‘I need her with me to operate. She’s that one." He aded: “We’ll get married soon. I just gotta sturdy up — I gotta propose in a fire way.” View the full article
  5. Harry Potter is one of the biggest fantasy franchises of all times. Whether it be the seven books or eight movies, there are fans all over the world who have devoted their fandom to the popular book series from J.K. Rowling. While the main series has been done for a while, spin-off movies continue to be made and the franchise is still as popular as ever. With all of this in mind, it's no surprise that a sneaker brand like Vans would collaborate with an entity as huge as Harry Potter. Well, if you've been waiting on a collection from the two, you're in luck. Today, the brand announced on Instagram that a sneaker and apparel collection is, in fact, on the way. Over at the Vans website, there is currently a page dedicated to the collab which features all four Hogwarts houses including Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw. As of right now, there is no release date associated with the collab, so you'll have to sit tight as Vans gears up to unveil an official release date. Stay tuned as we will be sure to bring you the latest updates as soon as they become available. View the full article
  6. Travis Scott has multiple Air Jordan collabs set to drop later this year, including the "Cactus" Jack Air Jordan 1 and the special edition Air Jordan 6 that he debuted during his halftime performance at Super Bowl LIII. Additionally, Nike will reportedly release a couple of Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows, including the colorway shown below. Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low/@JWolfstreetexec La Flame first broke out his Air Jordan 1 Low collab during the Grammy Awards in February, but that particular pair featured an olive green colorway. The latest rendition features a brown and black build, just like his Air Jordan 1 High collab. Both Air Jordan 1 Lows are highlighted by a backwards Nike swoosh on the lateral side, with Cactus Jack branding on the inner mid panel. According to sneaker source @Zsneakerheadz, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low is slated to release sometime in September. It remains to be seen if the olive green iteration will be releasing as well. Check out on-foot images of both colorways below, and stay tuned for official release details. 7. Halle Berry decided to come through with the ultimate thirst-trap via her Instagram account. The Academy Award recipient offered fans a glimpse into her #SundaySelfCare routine by sharing a photo of herself in a bathtub. Herein, the 52-year old actress looks right at us with a playful grin as she evidently enjoys relaxing in her foamy-bubble bath. She even holds onto a few bubbles as though we're not the ones currently melting. The picture is tied to the following caption: "It's been a really long day, but still making time for #SelfCareSunday with my bubble bath." What does your #SelfCareSunday routine look like and most importantly, does it look as good as Halle Berry's? Last week, the actress gifted us with another thirst trap through her Snapchat account. In the latter, the "Monster's Ball" star laid bare and comfortable with a jean jacket and nothing underneath. Leave it up to Halle to have everyone's curiosity piquing like so. This is the second thirst trap in the span of a week, hence fans may want to stay glued to her socials for more. Who knows? Maybe she's on a streak these days. Either way, we are not ones to complain. View the full article
  8. At first, it was all fun and games for 50 Cent when he won a lawsuit against Teairra Mari. The Love & Hip Hop star had sued him for posting a still image from her sex tape, calling it revenge porn. Despite having solid legal representation, Teairra lost and was ordered to pay Curtis a total of $30K. For months, she publicly said that she would not be paying the rapper a single cent and now, further action has been taken to make her pay up. As reported by The Blast, a warrant has been issued for Teairra Mari's arrest. Mari was scheduled to appear in court today but, instead, she was absent and a judge ordered her arrest. The hearing was set by 50 Cent, who has been asking the reality star for his money repeatedly. If she comes into contact with the police, she will be taken into custody. As expected, 50 Cent reacted to the news on social media but this time, he wasn't laughing about it. Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images "See the shit ain’t funny now, is it Funky," wrote the entrepreneur. "You best be coming up with my money. I’m a need 75K now after they add all additional legal fees. The Law is The Law." Teairra was clearly serious when she said that Fiddy would never see her money. However, he took action and now, she's in even more trouble than before. View the full article
  9. Beyoncé's hustle should not be undersold. In fact, the legendary singer appears more active than ever before, having recently set Netflix ablaze with the surprise arrival of a Homecoming documentary and live album. While the move went appreciated by her legions of fans - a group that includes the ever-buzzing "beyhive" - many have come to cherish the "Formation Tour" as Beyonce's live magnum opus. As such, the requests for a home media release of "Formation" has led to countless requests across Bey's social media platforms. Now, the singer has taken the opportunity to showcase a little bit of a mischevious side, as evidenced by her new merch line. Several t-shirts have been made available at her official website, all of which feature one prominent message: "Where is the FWT DVD?” Scrawled across the threads in graffiti fashion, the shirts seem to point to a sense of awareness, which bodes well for the hungry fans. After all, Beyonce is said to have an additional pair of Netflix specials in the stash. Perhaps the long-awaited "Formation World Tour" film shall finally come to fruition. 11. Terence Crawford and Amir Khan took to Madison Square Garden on Saturday night for their WBO Welterweight title fight. Crawford dominated the fight from start to finish, although the bout ended in a very controversial way as Crawford hit Khan with a hard punch below the belt. Khan was down for quite some time and eventually, the fight was called off, with Crawford winning by way of Technical Knock Out. After the fight, Khan addressed his fans saying he was peeing blood after the fight and to stop claiming that he had "quit," like some were asserting. In an interview with TMZ, Crawford is disputing Khan's claims, saying the fighter did, in fact, quit and that he actually took the "easy way out." "I honestly feel like [Amir's trainer] stopped him before anything bad happened to him," Crawford explained. The fighter also said the fight is "something people will talk about for ages" which will make Khan regret his decision to ultimately quit the fight. Crawford said that a fight with Errol Spence is what he'd like to do next, although his promoter and Spence's promoter are currently embroiled in a beef so it could be a while before we get to see that. 12. Coachella isn't just the place for lasting music festival memories and poolside photos with your friends, but also sad happenings such as a litter of puppies getting thrown into a garbage bin. The latter is the latest investigation police are currently working on after a woman pulled up to a trash bin behind a Napa Auto Parts shop in Coachella and tossed out a bag of five, three-day-old puppies. USA Today reports that an employee was informed by a pedestrian who saw the questionable act and the Riverside County Department of Animal Services were called to the scene. “The Good Samaritan played a major role in saving theses puppies’ lives,” Animal Services commander Chris Mayer said in a news release. “His actions were humane and heroic.” "There is no excuse for dumping puppies," Chris added. "Especially in today's age when we or other shelters would be willing to get these animals to foster parents or rescue partners. This was a shameful act." Riverside County Sheriff’s investigators and the District Attorney’s office are building a strong cruelty case against the unidentified woman. You can watch the said video act in the video below. 13. For months, YoungBoy Never Broke Again has enjoyed his reign atop YouTube's list of the strongest male artists in the world. He has absolutely dominated the category, which may be surprising if you're unfamiliar with his online presence. YoungBoy has a cultlike following that religiously tunes in for his new releases, streaming them over and over from morning until night. He's been the number one male artist on YouTube for weeks but even he couldn't hold onto his spot because the owner of the most popular song in America has officially dethroned him. He's got the horses in the back and now, he's got a whole bunch of fans on his track because Lil Nas X is the owner of the top spot on a list of the most streamed male artists on YouTube in the last seven days. "Old Town Road" has been a tremendous success, beginning as a meme before a layer of seriousness was added thro0ugh Billy Ray Cyrus' remix. LNX enjoyed 48.6 million streams on the video platform while NBA YoungBoy followed with 46.1 million. Nipsey Hussle was close behind with so many of his fans revisiting his catalog after his death, clocking in 44.3 million streams. Behind him was Post Malone, Khalid, YNW Melly, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Juice WRLD and Marshmello. So far, Lil Nas X can be categorized as a one-hit-wonder but he has teased a flurry of other songs that have serious potential. None have the country crossover power that "Old Town Road" possesses though. View the full article
  14. Kodak Black is famous for saying (or doing) the wrong thing at the wrong time, and T.I.'s famous for using big, pseudo-intellectual words when smaller ones would suffice. This week on Top Tracks, our #1 song is a product of both of those guys doing what they do best. The story: Kodak dishonored the recently-deceased Nipsey Hussle with a comment about Lauren London, T.I. took offense and typed out a response that used the why-is-this-even-a-word word "expeditiously" ("quickly" means the exact same thing), Kodak responded with a diss track titled after said word. We all know how HNHH users feel about beef and diss tracks, so naturally, "Expeditiously" was far and away the most popular song on the site last week. No artist has more than one appearance inside this week's top ten of our TOP 100 chart. New songs barely missing out on spots include 24hrs, Ty Dolla Sign, and Dom Kennedy's "Back Out" (#11), Anderson .Paak and Brandy's "Jet Black" (#12), Tee Grizzley's "God's Warrior" (#14), and Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla Sign's "Bacc To Winning" (#16). ---- 10. Lil Dicky - Earth We hadn't heard from Lil Dicky since last year's questionable "Freaky Friday" video, and now it's clear that his latest venture has been quite the time-consuming pursuit. "Earth" may be more well-intentioned and star-studded than Dicky's last song, but does it slap? This one debuts at #10. 9. Jim Jones Feat. Wiz Khalifa & Currensy - 4/20 Somewhat surprisingly, our list this week only includes one 4/20-related song, but at least it involves two of stoner rap's biggest names. For a new song named after the smoker holiday, Jim Jones enlisted none other than Wiz Khalifa and Currensy, two of the most prodigious potheads around. "4/20" debuts at #9. 8. Kevin Gates - Big Gangsta Kevin Gates still hasn't given us a proper sophomore album to follow up 2016's Islah, and it doesn't look like his latest song was planned as a big lead single for a new project. "Big Gangsta" appeared online last week and has since been taken down. Nevertheless, it debuts at #8. 7. Chief Keef Feat. NBA Youngboy - Fireman Yet another unofficial leak! A collab between three prolific dudes who had never previously worked together, Chief Keef, Youngboy, and producer Tay Keith, popped up online last week. Alas, there's still no official version, and the one that leaked has since been scrapped. "Fireman," as their collaboration is titled, debuts at #7. 6. French Montana Feat. Blueface & Lil Tjay - Slide On his latest single, French Montana continues his reign as the master of making halfway decent songs that seem like terrible ideas on paper. "Slide" rounds up ascendant youngsters Blueface and Lil Tjay (the latter's first of most likely many appearances inside of our top ten), and it debuts at #6. 5. Beyoncé - Before I Let Go Nestled alongside dozens of live Coachella recordings of existing Beyoncé songs on her new album, Homecoming, is a bonus cover of Frankie Beverly and Maze's 1981 hit "Before I Let Go." It's not every day we get new Bey music, so this was a near-lock to chart. It debuts at #5. 4. SZA, The Weeknd & Travis Scott - Power Is Power Through two episodes of Game Of Thrones' final season, we haven't heard any music from the recently-announced, star-studded accompanying soundtrack, and for the sake of the show, let's hope it stays that way. But outside of that context, let's have at these songs. The first one to chart on HNHH is "Power Is Power," a high-profile collab between SZA, The Weeknd, and Travis Scott. It debuts at #4. 3. Tyga - Goddamn Should Tyga ever make a full-length album ever again? In the past year, he's enjoyed a surprising spree of success with upbeat, carefree singles, and that seems to be the formula that works best for him. "Goddamn" is the latest, and it debuts at #3. 2. Chris Brown Feat. Nicki Minaj & G-Eazy - Wobble Up After the indulgent, insular, and out-there Heartbreak on a Full Moon, it looks like Chris Brown is going the more traditional route for his upcoming follow-up, Indigo. "Wobble Up" is a very straightforward, safe single that features bankable stars Nicki Minaj and G-Eazy. It debuts at #2. 1. Kodak Black - Expeditiously Tracks #2 and #3 on this list each got around 30,000 views in the past week; "Expeditiously" has over 90k. It seems that while people still love to hate on Kodak (it's got a 35% user approval rating), they're still clicking on his music. This one easily debuts at #1. View the full article
  15. Another year, another array of plaudits doled out by one of journalism’s most longstanding institutions. Initially published in March 1923, TIME Magazine is viewed as a flagship title that has remained on the pulse of culture and societal issues at a point in history when many of print’s stalwarts have begun to diminish in relevancy. Compiled since 2004, the “TIME 100” is the publication’s way to place the magnifying glass on both prominent and more unsung heroes that are propelling the world forward. Constructed of Pioneers, Leaders, Artists, Titans & Icons, it may be a yearly ritual that is prone to hyperbolic sentimentality in its celebrity-penned bios for each entry but it is no less a worthwhile exercise that celebrates those that are impacting the world in meaningful ways. Its admirable intentions notwithstanding, there appears to have been a severe oversight when it comes to this year’s selection process. Despite its hard-earned status as the leading genre of this era, TIME opted to forego the realm of hip-hop, when its every innovation is heeded by the pop culture paradigm at large. Since its inception, the TIME 100’s relationship with the culture has remained tenuous at best. Much like The Grammys, there’s been a lingering perception that TIME may take the time to acknowledge hip-hop out of obligation but are reluctant to delve underneath the deceptive veneer of the pop charts in order to pinpoint who and what is truly effecting change in the genre. From 2004 to this year’s jarring oversight, the hip-hop artists that have been honoured in the list are as follows: Jay-Z (x2), Kanye West (x2), Outkast (2004), Kendrick Lamar (2016), Nicki Minaj (2016), Daddy Yankee (2006), Pharrell (2014), Chance The Rapper (2017), Donald Glover (2017) and last year’s sole recipient in Cardi B. If you extend this to allies and alumni of hip-hop, these ranks are embellished by John Legend, Rihanna (x2), Frank Ocean, Miguel and record producer Rick Rubin, bringing us to a grand total of 18 out of a possible 1500. Jay-Z and Kanye West at TIDAL Launch event, 2015 - Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images Given hip-hop’s unimpeded rise to the top of the music industry’s profit-based and artistic hierarchies in that time, this paltry number appears to be inconsistent with the genre’s lofty vantage point in the world. To clarify, no one is claiming that this is derived from racial bias as that would’ve led to a wider reproach and left an indelible stain on their reputation long ago. As opposed to being the product of a prejudice based on creed or colour, what this dismissiveness towards hip-hop points towards is a structural snobbery that seeks to keep it on the fringes as a lowbrow form of entertainment and undercuts its innumerable contributions to the world. Although its criterion is relatively obtuse and fluid, one of the clearer descriptions of what makes someone eligible for inclusion in the list comes courtesy of Richard Stengel. Speaking in 2007, the former managing editor laid out what they were seeking to celebrate with a refreshing transparency: “What we look for is people whose ideas, whose example, whose talent, whose discoveries transform the world we live in. Influence is less about the hard power of force than the soft power of ideas and example.” Taken directly from a former editor, it appears there’s been a grave oversight if this manifesto bears any resemblance to the governing principles and qualifiers that are in place today. Rather than talk in broad terms about hip-hop’s eligibility, it seems high time to spotlight those that have had it so unblinkingly snatched away from them by the powers that be at TIME. As to what barometer will be employed to determine who’d be worthy for the list, the baseline will be a quote taken directly from their own sermon that praised Jay-Z as their second ever hip-hop honouree: “Like all his music, it encompassed the passion and spirit of a new generation of artists who were not going to be held down. Today Jay-Z stands centerstage with the penetrating sustainability of a living legend.” If this is what it takes to be receiving the glowing praise of TIME Magazine, then look no further than the following artists that haven’t just cemented their own legacies over the past 12 months but have acted as exemplars of innovation for future generations. Kendrick Lamar performing at Lollapalooza Buenos Aires, 2019 - Santiago Bluguermann/Getty Images For starters, one omission that registers as particularly unfathomable is that of Kendrick Lamar. Setting aside his Oscar nomination and globe-spanning presence, Top Dawg Entertainment’s leading light quite literally made history last year by netting hip-hop’s first Pulitzer prize. Awarded for his deeply philosophical work on DAMN., Kendrick’s glass ceiling-shattering achievement not only attests to the “soft power of ideas” but quite literally reappraised the limit on hip-hop’s acclaim in educational and artistic circles. Contentious as he may be among hip-hop heads, it’s unlikely that any rational thinker would take umbrage with Drake making his debut appearance on this list. While 2018 was a tumultuous period for Drake, the fairly tepid response that Scorpion received from critics and the fall-out from the Pusha T beef did little to deter his successes for the year. For one thing, Scorpion marked the second time that he attained the biggest album in a 12-month span and played a crucial role in the Toronto MC smashing The Beatles’ record for most top 10 singles in a year. Unmatched since the Fab Four’s meteoric rise in the mid-60s, Drake had exceeded their achievement by netting 12 by October of last year. When you combine all of his artistic pursuits, it’s hard to reconcile with Donald Glover-- A.K.A Childish Gambino-- finding himself on the sidelines. “This Is America” perfectly encapsulated the dizzying uncertainty of modern times, and was a beacon for discussion, op-eds and thinkpieces across the net. The second season of Atlanta solidified its reputation as one of the most subversive and vital TV shows of the modern era. In conjunction with his appearance as Han Solo and that triumphant Coachella set, he could’ve been a shoo-in. Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino performing at Rihanna's Diamond Ball, 2018 - Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images Beyond these clear-cut examples, the ranks could be easily bolstered by a litany of artists that have taken massive strides forward and asserted themselves like never before. Since its release in August of 2018, few songs were as completely inescapable as Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode.” Regarded as Astroworld’s commercial crowning glory, it was just one component in Travis’ most prosperous year to date. Culminating in his heralded Astroworld Festival in Houston and a divisive Superbowl performance, it’s hard to, realistically, put forth the concept that 2019 honouree Khalid had more of a seismic effect on culture than Travis. Meanwhile in North Carolina, the shaman of Dreamville that is J. Cole was a constant source of discussion throughout 2019. Teamed with breakout albums from his proteges J.I.D and Bas, 2018’s cautionary-tale laden K.O.D added a conceptual suite to his storied discography whilst his features spree had the world on tenterhooks as we awaited each new masterclass in whetting the audience’s appetite. To top it all off, 2018 marked the year that Wondaland’s queen Janelle Monae went from a cult phenomenon to a bonafide icon. Led by the invigorating hybrid sound of Dirty Computer, her ode to sexual liberation, inclusivity and self-love left a craterous dent in the musical landscape and will go down as a classic album in years to come. Whether a product of apathy or disdain, TIME’s dismissal of hip-hop hints towards a fundamental disconnect with the world’s most important cultural force. While the disproportionate representation has gone unnoticed in previous years, it was never going to fly under the radar at a time where hip-hop is more omniscient and broadly applicable than ever. By belying its influential status, TIME has depicted a perennial force in music and popular culture at large as though it exists within a cordoned-off backroad or quarantined zone. Dismaying as it may be, hip-hop’s fans and artists can find its solace in the fact that its road to dominance has never required the approval of any institution or tastemaker and that’s what makes it so irrepressibly innovative. 16. Last year, Bobby Ray suggested that his NAGA album would be his final endeavor, at least where music is concerned. Yet seeing as this is hip-hop, and retirement is a fleeting state at best, B.o.B has once again returned to the fold. Though he may very well hold true on a technicality by abstaining from projects altogether, he has decided to take mercy on his fanbase and unleash a new loosie called "Soul Glo." The track arrives alongside a Coming To America inspired video, which adds an added layer of titular soul to B.o.B's latest vibe. Taking to a saxophone drenched, percussive instrumental, B.o.B showcases a sharpened flow that has yet to dull with time. "Keep you obsessed with fancy objects, to crack your third eye it's a process, it's a hot mess out for a melanated n***a," he raps before concluding "I stay meditatin' n***a!" Check out the latest drop from B.o.B now, and sound off below. Are you ready and willing to welcome him back into the game? 17. Chicago rapper G Herbo is not necessarily seen in the best light at the moment after his arrest last week. The artist allegedly put his hands on his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son, leaving Ari Fletcher with scratches. The social media star said that Herbo "beat her the fuck up" in a statement of her own after he was released from jail. Herb has been charged with battery after the incident. That's not the only thing that has pissed people off though because at his son's birthday party last week, G Herbo cursed out a little boy who unsafely went down a slide right after the rapper and his one-year-old, threatening to punch him out. Under no circumstances is it alright to beat up a child. Seriously. Perhaps this is a regular thing that G Herbo teases his friend's kids for because the little boy was smiling about it but a number of his fans have spoken out about the incident. Sara Molina, Tekashi 6ix9ine's baby mother, also commented on the video that was live-streamed on Herb's page, saying that he's "type ignorant." "I never looked at G Herbo no type of way," says Molina on her own live stream. "Until I realized he was type ignorant when he was going down that slide with his fucking son. You over here talking about beating someone's kid for coming behind you on a slide with your kid. First of all, the kid maybe weighed no more than fucking 25-30 pounds and you're over here talking about beating him up because he came behind you." Sara Molina asks why he would feel comfortable speaking to somebody else's kid like that having his own child in his arms. Watch the video below and chime in. [via] View the full article
  18. Boxers Amir Khan and Terence Crawford took to the ring on Saturday, April 20th at Madison Square Garden for the WBO Welterweight Title. Crawford eventually won thanks to a TKO decision after hitting Khan below the belt. Usually, such a punch would result in a penalty, but Khan was unable to continue because of the punch which gave Crawford the win. Many boxing fans were confused by the ordeal and thought Crawford should have been disqualified, while some were unhappy with Khan for "quitting." After the fight, Khan took to Twitter to explain his condition after the fight. "Peeing blood. The shot was low. The fight was just getting interesting," Khan wrote. "Well done team Terrance. I never quit, I rather get knocked out cold then quit. Good night. Thank you New York." Khan also explained that he is taking a break from boxing and will have an update for his fans in the near future. "The last 12 months have been brilliant. After a long layoff with hand injuries I fought 3 times. Lo Grego, Vargas and Crawford," Khan explained. "Thank you for all the support and motivation everyone. Will have a nice break and with my family and friends. I will announce something soon." What did you think of the low blow? Was it weird for you to see a fight end that way? View the full article
  19. Jussie Smollett may have been dropped from all charges surrounding the alleged staged hate crime he sent on himself but it doesn't mean a large number of people think the Empire actor is entirely innocent. It's for that reason why his brother Jojo has penned an open letter for BET detailing more about his brother and just why he believes he would never do such a horrible thing as lie about the attack. "It has not yet been 90 days since my younger brother, Jussie Smollett, was assaulted on a cold winter night in Chicago. Within less than three months, his life has been turned upside down as my family and I have witnessed him endure unrelenting attacks to his character and reputation," Jojo began in his letter, titled What If Jussie Is Telling The Truth? "To define this experience as unjust would be an understatement." Jojo discussed the allegations on how Jussie staged the attack becasue he wanted a pay raise. "I was shocked at how easily everyone accepted the ridiculous motive about Jussie’s career that was promulgated. Jussie had actually begun directing episodes of Empire, which brought additional compensation. He worked out a deal with Fox to own 100% of his music masters , released an album, which lead to a sold out world tour and he donated every cent of ticket sales to charity," Jojo explained. "He even signed the group, June’s Diary, to his label. My brother was developing two films with one of the biggest producers in Hollywood, had the lead to a Broadway show on the table and owns the option rights to the authorized autobiography of his idol, Alvin Ailey." Among the other examples of how his brother is holding up and suffering all the same time, Jojo ends his letter writing: "I am simply hoping there are some conscious-minded people out there who, instead of carelessly victim blaming and shaming, want to loudly ask the simple question: “What if Jussie is telling the truth?” Read the full letter here. 21. Considerably, Netflix remains undefeated as a top-tier streaming service. Since it was founded in 1997, the platform has embedded itself in popular culture as well as our hearts. Millennials, a term coined to describe populations born between the late 1980s and early 2000s, most specifically are near and dear to the streaming business. And the formulation of the term "Netflix & Chill" may easily attest to this. Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images A recent study, conducted by the Wall Street Journal, looked into the overall preference between binge-watching and sex. The population that sparked the most interest were millennials whom, according to the poll's results, reflected a ratio of one to four preferring binge-watching over sexual activity. Further scrutiny showed the reported number as increasing to 36% when observing answers from people aged 18 to 38 years old. The study's results closely follow that of a San Diego State University psychology professor, Dr. Jean Twenge. The scholar went onto releasing a paper which discussed the potential correlative relationship between the newly reported low fertility rates and sex decline with streaming service engagement. According to Complex, a Netflix spokesperson denied the prior claims by explaining that their data show U.S Netflix users as only watching for 2-hours a day. “We take pride in being part of the cultural zeitgeist, but getting credit for a decades-long decline in sex is beyond even our programming abilities." 22. There has been a lot of talk about the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Black" colorway which is rumored to be released on June 22nd. Sneakerheads have been asking for a triple-black version of the 350 V2 for a while now, so the community is understandably excited by this brand new model. In many ways, this new colorway is like the "Static" model thanks to the primeknit pattern and the translucent stripe on the side. For those who remember, the "Static" model also had a "Static Reflective" version which was much more limited. Depending on the lighting, this model would light up on the laces and the upper thanks to 3M elements. Well, images of a sample that come courtesy of @hanzuying, give us an interesting look at a "Reflective" version of the new "Black" colorway. Aside from the images which show similar aesthetics to the "Static Reflective" model, there is no release date or price associated with the shoe. There is no real information as to whether or not this is even a real shoe that will be released, although sneakerheads can only hope. Stay tuned for more information on this shoe as we will make sure to report it when it becomes available. View the full article
  23. Eliza Reign claims to have been carrying Future's baby for the last nine months and publically, Future has done nothing to confirm or deny those allegations. Given his complete radio silence on the matter, we would imagine that the two have dealt with the situation privately to ensure child support does not become an issue once the baby is born. As it stands, the rapper already has five children by different women so there is a reason to believe that Eliza is telling the truth. After all, Future can seemingly get a woman pregnant by just nudging them on the sidewalk. It appears as though the latest addition to Pluto's growing family has just arrived into the world with Eliza Reign hinting that she may have given birth this weekend. The social media star posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed on Easter Sunday, telling her followers that she's "still glowing." She doesn't outwardly confirm that her baby has been born but there's enough visual evidence present for fans to safely assume that Future's newest child is here. The sex of the baby has not yet been confirmed but Eliza will likely let everybody in on that soon. Last week, Reign clapped back at one commenter who assumed Future was not taking ownership of this situation, which she took as an opportunity to remind everybody that they have no clue what private conversations she and Future have had. Congrats Eliza and Future! View the full article
  24. Kanye West and Adidas are ramping up the Yeezy releases in 2019, which will include a plethora of all-new Yeezy Boost 350 V2s. Among the low-top Yeezys set to drop later this year is the all-new black colorway, as well as the eye-catching glow-in-the-dark joint. Sneaker source @HanZuYing has also revealed another "Zebra" Yeezy Boost 350 V2 sample - though it remains to be seen if this pair will be joining the aforementioned colorways at Yeezy retailers. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Zebra"/@HanZuYing Styled just like the popular "Zebra" Yeezy Boost 350 V2 that released back in 2017, this sample version comes equipped with black stripes throughout the white primeknit upper. However, the newly unveiled sample has a semi-translucent midfoot stripe in place of the red "SPLY 350" text and an all-white Boost midsole, as opposed to the two-toned sole utilized on the 2017 colorway. We already know the Zebra 2.0s would be a hit if they released, but we'll have to wait and see if Adidas gives 'em the green light. Scroll down for some additional photos.
