  1. It was just before Christmas when Quando Rondo released a new single dedicated to his daughter, and the Savannah rapper has returned just weeks later with his full project. Last year the Never Broke Again LLC/Atlantic Records artist dropped off his From The Neighborhood To The Stage mixtape, and on Friday he shared his debut studio project, QPac, with the world. The album is a nod to the Rondo comparing himself to hip hop icon Tupac, and throughout QPac Rondo laces his album with references to the late rapper. "Poetic Justice" is obviously named after Tupac's film with Janet Jackson, “Real Love” is said to be a "modernized take" on Tupac and the Outlawz's "Made N*ggaz," and "Codeine Tales" is supposed to be something like Pac's "Thug Passion." QPac hosts features from Luh Kel, Polo G, 2 Chainz, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, and Lil Durk. Give QPac a spin and let us know what you think. Tracklist 1. Blue Opps 2. Real Love 3. Double C’s 4. 3. Fresh off the release of their flashy "Dr. Birds" video, a clip that brought legendary director Hype Williams into their world, the Griselda trio have been steadily expanding their cultural impact. Fresh off a triumphant 2019 campaign, which brought new music from Westside Gunn, Conway, Benny The Butcher, and a joint effort from a united Griselda, the Buffalo trifecta have seen their fanbase expand on a global level. And while it wasn't always possible for Westside to mobilize beyond the United States, it would appear that 2020 will open some new doors for the mogul. "I could drop a tear right now... FLYGOD FINALLY about to travel the [world]," writes Westside, showing off his new passport in a celebratory IG post . "The impact GRISELDA has had on the Culture I’m finally able to come THANK YALL personally, my life really just began 2hrs ago if I did everything I did from home just imagine what’s about to happ.. damn this is a krazy feeling #GODISTHEGREATEST I’m packing my shit up next week I’m OUT." While it's unclear whether Conway and Benny currently possess a passport, it's still great to see Westside Gunn secure a crucial win. What this means for the Griselda movement has yet to be revealed, but we're certainly excited to find out. Congratulations to Westside Gunn -- Flygod is a global God. View the full article
  4. The cover art for "Life is Good" suggests that Future ad Drake have been taking their time cooking up something special for their fans. Not long ago, the two rappers were spotted serving up meals at a fast-food restaurant. Some people thought it was some sort of prank, but it looks like it was all for the "Life is Good" visual, and Future's track featuring Drake is a multi-leveled mix while the video shows the chart-topping pair hard at work at various jobs. In the visual, the pair work I.T., get their hands dirty as mechanics, pick up trash for Waste Management, and sell smartphones—just to name a handful of professions. Drake opens the track with his verse while Future handles the rest. They have a few noteworthy guest appearances including looks from Lil Yachty, Mike Will Made-It, and 21 Savage, so check out the Director X-directed music video and let us know what you think. 5. With the influx of streaming services coming out these days, it feels like a large chunk of television worth watching these days is exclusive to Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ etc. However, FX currently has their hands on a few critically acclaimed shows. One of them being Atlanta. The Donald Glover-created series aired season 2 in 2018 but many have been wondering when the third season would arrive. Today, both good and bad news regarding the series has been unveiled. To start with the bad news, you won't be getting a new season this year. As FX announced that they renewed the show for a third and fourth season, Donald Glover's busy schedule prevented the show from entering production. Deadline reports that FX Networks Chairman John Landgraf confirmed that the show would be making its return with season three in early 2021. FX plans on having “less than a year break between" season three and four which means that we can expect a double dose of all eighteen episodes in 2021. The third and fourth season will also be both shot at the same time with plans to pick up from where season 2 left off. That means that the third season will be shot outside of the United States. Where that might be has yet to be confirmed but we're excited for the upcoming seasons. View the full article
  6. Quality Control Musc rapper Lil Baby is prepping for his return with the announcement of the release of his sophomore studio album, My Turn. He shared the good news with fans just last week, and since then his admirers have been waiting for an official release date. It's obvious that the Atlanta rapper is keeping that information close to the chest, but in the meantime, he's dropped off a single from the anticipated project to tie fans over. "Sum 2 Prove" was delivered in the wee hours of Friday morning and falls in line with the cadence and delivery that Lil Baby fans have grown to love. Meanwhile, Lil Keed, Gunna, and Young Thug are reportedly slated as features on the Lil Baby's forthcoming My Turn, and recently the rapper shared how he came up with the title. “I called it My Turn ’cause I feel like everybody else had a lil turn," he reportedly said on Instagram Live, according to The Source. "It’s my turn now." Check out "Sum 2 Prove" and let us know if you're ready for Lil Baby to take his turn. 7. Ever since he released his sophomore effort 43va Heartless back in May 2019, Moneybagg Yo's personal life has been the subject of headlines. He first made waves with Texas rapper Megan Thee Stallion and he recently admitted that he and Ari Fletcher, the mother of G Herbo's child, are seeing each other. While some celebrities believe that any publicity is good publicity, Moneybagg Yo fans have been waiting for the Memphis rapper to drop his next record to shift focus back to his music. On Friday, Moneybagg did just that with the release of his third studio album, Time Served. The project hosts features from Blac Youngsta, Future, DaBaby, Summer Walker, and Fredo Bang, along with his previously released singles "All Dat" with ex-girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion and "U Played" with Lil Baby. 10. Two women were taken into custody on Wednesday on allegations that they attempted to fraud the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation. The organization was launched by family members who lost their loved ones during the tragic attack at Sandy Hook Elementary in December 2012. On that day, 20-year-old Adam Lanza entered the school and opened fire killing 26 people: 20 children and 6 adult staff members. Handout / Handout / Getty Images The Sandy Hook Promise Foundation lists its mission as hoping "to  create a culture engaged in preventing shootings, violence, and other harmful acts in schools. Sandy Hook Promise is a moderate, above-the-politics organization that supports sensible program and policy solutions that address the “human side” of gun violence by preventing individuals from ever getting to the point of picking up a firearm to hurt themselves or others." According to ABC News, the foundation wanted to host a benefit concert in San Antonio, Texas, so the nonprofit contacted booking agents Nancy Jean and Carissa Scott of reportedly Canvas Media Group. The women stated that they were responsible for scheduling events for high-profile artists, so SHP agreed to use them to secure talent. Then, Jean and Scott penned contracts for the event: $500K for Justin Timberlake and $600K for Bruno Mars. With the latter also came a $300K down payment to secure the December 13, 2019 concert date. There were even talks of Drake, Flo Rida, Ed Sheeran, Usher, and Lady Gaga possibly being added to the bill, but what the foundation didn't know was that the women weren't in contact with any of the artists or their representatives. ABC News reports that as time drew closer for the concert to go down, investors were confused as to why none of the artists were listing the event on their social media pages. When they realized there was no publicity at all, they contacted authorities to make sure everything was legitimate. What the FBI found was that the women used half of the money to lease a Mercedes-Benz and made $1,200 worth of purchases at Saks Fifth Avenue. Jean and Scott were arrested while they were making their way through the John F. Kennedy Airport on Wednesday. They were arrested on charges of fraud, but it's unclear if other charges will be added at a later date.. View the full article
  11. The Cook County judge handling Jussie Smollett's hoax attack case has ordered a sweeping search warrant directed at Google in order to obtain one-year's worth of data documentation from Jussie Smollett and his manager, according to the Chicago Tribune. The judge is demanding that Google hand over Smollett's emails, photos, location data and private messages as part of an on-going investigation involving accusations that the Empire star staged a hate crime attack that allegedly resulted in a physical and verbal assault and a noose being tied around Smollett's neck in his hometown of Chicago. Smollett was indicted on sixteen felony counts for allegedly staging a racial and homophobic attack carried out by brothers, Abel and Ola Osundairo, who later expressed their regret in their involvement in the hoax act of violence. With the Osundairo brothers now cooperating with the prosecution and Smollett urging the court to drop the case against him, the Chicago judge has decided to move forward with court proceedings against the actor. Angela Weiss/Getty Images The Cook County judge is also requiring that Google provide the court with Smollett's email drafts, deleted messages, Google Drive files, Google Voice texts, and web browsing history as further evidence for their prosecution. With the Chicago judicial system pressing further in Smollett's hoax attack case and Lee Daniels announcing that Smollett will not be returning for the season finale of Empire, Smollett could eventually end up serving time for filing a false report and heedlessly utilizing police resources for a fraudulent crime. Stick with HNHH as details unfold in Jussie Smollett's upcoming criminal proceedings. View the full article
  12. For months, Tupac Shakur's personal items have sold to the highest bidder. Back in January 2019, two pornographic drawings sketched by the late rapper went for $21K. Two polaroid photos of Tupac and his wife Keisha Morris that he'd given to a fellow prisoner were announced to go to auction just last month. Then, there was the letter he wrote to Madonna from prison, explaining to her why they couldn't be in a romantic relationship. Now, the car Tupac was riding in when he was shot in Las Vegas is up for sale, and it's reported that bids are starting at $1.75 million. There are a select group of high-rolling collectors who like to gather music memorabilia, however morbid it may seem. In 1996, Tupac was riding as a passenger in a black BMW 750Li with Suge Knight when a white Cadillac pulled alongside them and opened fire. Six days later, Tupac passed away while recovering in a hospital. The BMW has passed through a few owners since that fateful evening that shook hip hop, and now it's found its way to the auction block. The car reportedly comes with documentation proving it's authenticity and the seller, Celebrity Cars Las Vegas, writes that the car has been fully restored. "This is the first time this car has ever been up for sale or on display since his death in 1996. It has been completely restored to the condition it was in before his death and has just received a new coat of paint," they wrote on their website. "There is a small indentation where we believe one of the bullet holes was but it is hard to tell. Other than that it is fully restored. The photo of the bullet holes is just for reference. The wheels have been replaced with the same wheels that it had at the time of the shooting. It runs great and is in excellent condition." They added, "The shooting occurred September, 7th 1996 at 11:15 p.m. pacific time when the car with Shakur and Knight stopped at a red light at East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane. Shakur was struck by four .40 caliber rounds fired from a Glock two in the chest, one in the arm, and one in the thigh." How much would you spend to own this ride? View the full article
  13. In any given year, you can bank on Jordan Brand being one of the most dominant brands in the sneaker industry. Sneakerheads love their Jordans and it doesn't appear as though that trend is going to stop anytime soon. In 2020, Jumpman has plenty of dope sneakers on tap and they are making sure almost every silhouette is represented. One of the sneakers we teased recently is the Air Jordan 10 "Wings' which is a unique colorway that we have yet to see on a Jordan. Thanks to the Instagram sneaker account @upcycle.sneaks, we now have an in-depth look at what this shoe will look like. As you can see from the photos below, the upper is made of white leather green lining is placed on the cuff and tongue. From there, orange and silver details are subtly added to the side. The back heel has a black tab with colored dots all while the outsole is icy blue. Another thing that makes this shoe unique is the packaging. As you can see, the shoe will have a camo-style box with a red rose on the top. For now, these are being slated for April of 2020 and the retail price will be $190 USD. Stay tuned for updates on these as we will be sure to bring you the latest information. View the full article
  14. This family has already endured enough tragedy, but the loved ones of Atatiana Jefferson are mourning yet another loss. In October 2019, Atatiana was up late playing video games with her eight-year-old nephew when her neighbor called the police after seeing that her door was left open. He told dispatch that he just wanted to do a welfare check, but somehow responding officers were allegedly alerted of a possible robbery in progress. Disgraced former Fort Worth, Texas officer Aaron Dean approached Atatiana's home, didn't announce himself, saw movement inside, and opened fire through a window within seconds of arrival. Atatiana was killed for no reason, and Dean has been indicted for her murder. One month after Atatiana's death, her father suffered a heart attack and passed away. Some have stated that he died of a broken heart. On Thursday, news began to circulate that there has been another death in this grieving family; this time, it's been reported that Atatiana's mother has also died. A cause of death has not yet been released but it was reported by The Dallas Morning News that Yolanda Car had been "battling an illness." Attorney S. Lee Merritt confirmed the News of Yolanda's passing on social media. "We just learned Yolanda Carr, the mother of #AtatianaJefferson, passed away in her home early Thursday morning," he tweeted. "Atatiana was killed by a Fort Worth, TX police officer while serving as the caregiver for Ms. Carr who had recently taken ill. Memorial Service details will follow." We send our condolences. 15. On the topic of lyricism, it doesn't get much better than Wu-Tang Clan legend Raekwon. For decades now, the Park Hill Projects rapper has been consistently delivering dope music, his most recent album being 2017's The Wild. Those keeping track know that Rae has yet to falter, and all signs point to another strong campaign in 2020. Today, Rae took to Instagram to announce his first project of the year, an EP by the name of The Appetition. Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images Revealing the release date as January 17th, Rae also shared the comic-book-inspired cover art, though opted to keep further details close to his chest. Either way, it's likely to be another impressive showing from the rapper, who may very well be one of the game's most valuable players; a master of the abstract, stream-of-consciousness style of storytelling, Raekwon The Chef will likely go down in history as one of the game's most accomplished writers, an integral member of the East Coast pantheon. Check out the official announcement post below, and keep an eye out for some new music from Raekwon. The Appetition drops on January 17th, 2020. View the full article
  16. The use of the n-word is a sensitive topic, especially within the United States. There's an ongoing debate as to whether or not non-black people are permitted to say "n*gga," but mixed martial artist and UFC fighter Mike Perry couldn't care less. The athlete has been entangled in past controversies over his flippant use of the term, and on Thursday he found himself the target of backlash over a comment he made toward actor Michael Jai White. Terry Wyatt / Stringer / Getty Images For those that may not know, Perry took a DNA and found out that he's two percent African American. He'd reportedly already picked up using the n-word during his upbringing in Michigan, but now apparently he felt as if he was excused from criticism. Perry and Michael Jai White have been engaged in an ongoing online feud, and Perry reportedly referenced an old video of White and the late fighter Kimbo Slice training together. "Blood and bone more like b*tch ass n*gga @MichaelJaiWhite," Perry tweeted. The backlash was swift, so he followed up with another message. “You have to make a big deal out of this. A white man said that to you because you straight up being one. Y’all can’t act like you don’t hear me. It was bullsh*t. He was trying to slander a real gangsta so people would think he more than an actor. For FLA we say FOH.” The first-ever black female UFC fighter, Angela Hill, replied to Perry's comments with disdain. "White people using ‘n*gga’ to insult a black person, I don’t give a f*ck what your intentions were, it ain’t right," she tweeted. "The few times I’ve run into Perry during fights he’s seemed cool, this isn’t cool." Did Perry cross the line? View the full article
  17. After more than a decade, the WWE is finally getting back in the ice cream game. Fans of the classic WWE ice cream bars, which were first introduced in 1987 and discontinued in 2008, will be happy to know that Good Humor will now be carrying a similar version in the form of an ice cream sandwich. Sure, the sticks are gone and the chocolate coating has been scrapped, but this is still a huge development for all of the kids (now adults) who grew up eating those delicious ice cream bars with images of their favorite WWE superstars stamped on the front. It's unclear how many different versions of the WWE ice cream sandwiches will be available, but the Good Humor website shows both Roman Reigns and Macho Man Randy Savage on the cookie. Additionally, the box itself features John Cena and Becky Lynch which leads us to believe they'll be included as well. Could there also be a Jake "The Snake" Roberts throwback or an ice cream dedicated to WWE Universal Champion "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt? One can only hope, but we'll take what we can get right now - even if it means a whole box of "King Corbin" ice creams sandwiches. View the full article
  18. We're just weeks away from the 62nd annual Grammy Awards where some of our favorite artists will find out whether or not they've been recognized as the best in their respective nominated categories. Aside from all of the pomp, late icon Prince is set to receive a star-studded tribute two days after the coveted ceremony, a music number directed by his longtime friends and collaborators, Sheila E, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis. Victor Malafronte / Stringer / Getty Images The world lost an incredible musician when Prince was found dead at his Paisley Park home in 2016, and since that time, there have been numerous tributes delivered by various performers. This time around, a handful of artists will join together at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the live show that's reportedly set to broadcast sometime in April. Usher, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Common, H.E.R., Mavis Staples, Chris Martin, St. Vincent, Beck, Foo Fights, Juanes, Gary Clark Jr. and Earth, Wind & Fire are all set to take to the stage to perform a few of Prince's greatest hits. Prince's former band the Revolution along wwith Morris Day and the Time are reported to make appearances, as well. “I was very honored to be able to do this for so many reasons, but to be able to help celebrate the life of a dear friend and be a part of this and be musical director is awesome,” Sheila E. told Rolling Stone. "Musically, there’s so much to choose from. It’s almost unfair to do a two-hour tribute to him — we could do a full week. At the end of the day, it’s him bringing people together and having a good time.” Let us know what you think about the line-up and if there's an artist you believe should have been included. 19. It's no secret Frank Ocean loves him some Prada, often repping the brand in his looks at events like the 2019 Met Gala and on covers for publications like W Magazine. Now, Prada has returned the love, by unveiling Frank as one of the stars featured in the Italian fashion house's Spring/Summer 2020 menswear campaign, the Optimist Rhythm collection. In the black-and-white shot, Frank can be seen rocking some of the pieces from the collection while the "Prada" name next to him is turned sideways, becoming an acronym for "Programming Rhythms And Dancing Again." This creative choice is part of the unique approach Prada has taken in order to "reinvent conventional identity" through their campaign. The "Prada" name has been turned into various acronyms in order to serve as "a playful metaphor for a confident embracing of the indefinability of the idea of Prada itself." The collection features "a trinity of contemporary creatives, pivotal cultural personalities of now and archetypes of the hyper fragmented mindset of tomorrow," including actor Austin Butler and director/screenwriter Nicolas Winding Refn. "Each embodies a single identity of the Prada man, one aspect, one outlook, multiplied by each image, each definition. They are representations of the legion individuals that comprise the collective...Each of these men uses words to define themselves: the lyrics of a song, the words of a script. They are a blueprint, a template, for life, for living, for feeling. Here, words are used as a means to redefine the image, to attempt to define the indefinable - PRADA," the label stated. Frank was recently announced as one of the headliners at Coachella this year. It looks like 2020 is going to be Frank's year, and we couldn't be more happy for him. View the full article

Although the sound itself is being adopted by many pop acts these days, there are many Latin artists who are getting their shine right now. J Balvin has been among one of the most popular Latin artists in the past few years and he's had a hell of a run in 2019. Clearly, he's keeping the momentum going in 2020. Continuing the "Colores" series, he comes through with the second installment following "Blanco" that initially dropped back in November. "Morado," which means "Purple," is a vibrant anthem that will undoubtedly keep you anticipating for his upcoming solo album. Check the new song below. View the full article

  22. Rumors of a new project from Drake and Future have swirled around for a minute, although no confirmation has been made. What is confirmed, though, is that they have new music in the cut. With the number of leaks they've faced, and snippets that have surfaced, it's evident that they got stash worth of unreleased material but the question is: when will it see the light of day? While we anticipate What A Time To Be Alive 2, an album that may or may not exist, Drake and Future will be releasing their highly anticipated single, "Life Is Good" tomorrow. The song is set to debut on iHeartRadio tomorrow and set to play every hour. This is a great way to kick off the new year, although it's unclear whether the video is supposed to drop tomorrow as well. The two rappers were previously spotted filming the music video for the song at a burger joint. The two rappers ditched the rapper lifestyle while embracing the fast-food get-up, headset and all. The video is directed by Director X so there's no doubt that it will be a stunning visual overall. As Future and Drake continued to ramp up the hype for the single, they recently debuted their matching FBG x OVO chain that had a eagle and owl sitting next to it. Delivered by Jason of Beverly Hills, the two chains are worth $400K. View the full article
  23. It was only a year and a half ago when Kylie Jenner announced her endorsement deal with adidas, but now it's looking like the partnership may be coming to an end in 2020. In an exclusive report from Complex, the publication is using Kylie's most recent IG post (seen above) to kinda-sorta confirm that the young "billionairess" is done with adidas. In the photo, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star can be seen rocking a pretty ill pair of "What The" Nike SB Dunks. Everyone knows that rocking one brand's sneakers while being endorsed by another, especially two major competitors like the Swoosh and the Three Stripes, is definitely a faux pas for fashion purposes and business alike. 'Plex even went the step further as to contact a trusted source, who confirmed that Kylie's contract with adidas actually did expire on New Year's Eve (December 31, 2019). This wouldn't be the first time Ky-Ky switched up her kick game on us, either. Back in 2016, Kylie was a proud promoter of PUMA with campaign ads and even her own collection before jumping ship to join her brother-in-law Kanye West over at adidas. Whether she'll head back to PUMA or embrace Team Nike is still unclear, but we're sure someone will swipe her up with the quickness given her lucrative influence on today's pop culture. So, is Kylie officially "checks over stripes" now? Time will tell, but reflect back on the good times when she was rocking the adidas Supercourt just a few weeks ago below: View the full article
  24. Just a few days after comedian Mark Curry blasted Steve Harvey for stealing his jokes, the original Kings Of Comedy star is now responding to those claims and his response is definitely no laughing matter. Curry's comments to TMZ (seen above) detail a Halloween bit that Harvey apparently stole on two separate occasions: once on his now-canceled daytime talk show Steve, and again on the Kids Say the Darndest Things-esque variety show Little Big Shots. However, Steve is now defending himself by flat out denying the thievery altogether and claiming that Curry can't even name the joke he claims was stolen in the first place. "Steve Harvey ain't been on stage since 2015," the legendary comedian said, referring to himself in third-person. He went on to add, "Ask Mark Curry what joke he talkin' 'bout [sic]. Tell him to grow up, man!" After also telling Curry to "get a life" and "get a career," Steve explained that Mark doesn't know what he's talking about and is simply making stuff up. Sadly, we don't see this beef ending amicably — one of them needs to just dead the whole thing altogether.
